What an amazing little spot with wonderful people! This is a tight spot, not for the faint of…read moreheart. But the view is ever so worth it. There are off-road vehicles in the background, but unless it's a massive holiday, it's not too bad but it isn't a bad idea to have ear plugs on holidays when they can go all (all) night. The restaurant was open all day except for one Wednesday- not sure if that's usual. Food was good. You can walk into San Felipe on the road or the beach. Neat place.

This is Mexico, so expect a slower pace and a more casual RV experience without the amenities you find in an RV "resort" in the states. My 5-star rating is not to be confused with a 5-star RV resort in the USA. What you will find are some small-to-medium sites with full hookups and some without hookups for boondocking. There are clean bathrooms & shower facilities if you don't get a FHU site. There is a restaurant/bar under a big patio covered by a thatched palm frond roof located right on the beach. The food at the Palapa restaurant is muy bueno - especially anything with shrimp! The drinks are very good, with fresh-squeezed lime margaritas, delicious tequila sunrises & pina coladas. The sunrises are amazing and the beach is quiet and peaceful. During low tides you can walk out several hundred yards. During high tide in the mornings, the water is slack and perfect for kayaking. The Romero family that owns & operates this place is so friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and accommodate your needs, whether it's an activity like off-roading, fishing, dining out or getting services from town. Yes, some of the sites could use leveling and there is a fair amount of construction debris and trash that could be removed to improve the ambience. They are currently working on refurbishing several beach bungalows which will provide another nice option for visiting San Felipe in a car. If you are someone who only stays in 5-star RV resorts in the US, Victor's may not be for you. But if you want to park your RV steps from the beach and pay a modest sum to stay in a little piece of paradise in Baja, come on down! The drive from the border near El Centro CA is very easy and the road is good. It's just as safe as driving through any rural area in the USA on a decent highway. Once here, you can escape the hustle and bustle, traffic and noise to find true tranquility on the beach. You are close enough to town to walk or ride your bike to the Malecon where the shops, restaurants & bars are plentiful. A little further away is the CaliMex market, offering fresh meats, produce, baked goods and other groceries typical of any US market. There are many gas stations, an AutoZone, dentists, pharmacies, optometrists & doctors. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Baja on our own or with a group and I would be happy to stay at Victor's agai
