Cool bar with games and a rooftop! My friends and I loved it and the drinks aren't crazy expensive. The view from the rooftop is really pretty too.

The Player's Club is a cool, adults only (we ditched the little ones for a bit) arcade on a VERY busy 14th street. There's a LOT happening on 14th, in a good way. Wear some comfy shoes and bring that energy! As soon as you set foot in the PC basement, you feel cooler. While dark over all, there are specific lit areas that host pool tables, drinking booths, the bar (center), and some retro video/pinball games. Price point is perfect for the atmosphere/vibe. We'd encourage the PC to add some more retro games and (PLEASE) fix the "sit downs" that were along the wall by the bathroom. We fondly remember the sit down style classics from Pizza Hut back in the day and understand how rare they are. Please, check out Kansas City's Up Down for their classic gaming list. Yes, fanboy Gen X-ers will come (and spend) for a larger game selection and stay to drink. Promise.

Awesome service and games option. Bar guy Jose was super awesome. Treated with his nice smile to literally everyone! The guy at door was totally cool! I could play pool while not being with the group which is plus, that people were super friendly to play along. My drink was cleaned up while I was in rest room and Jose got me a new drink with no charge, shows their commitment for a good customer service. Being in customer service and employee experience company I could tell both sides of coin. For a Wednesday night it wasn't super crowded but enough that all pool tables were occupied. 2 $ for a pool table is NOT bad in DC downtown! I'm staying two blocks away so I'd totally love coming down here after work, almost every night. Having to deal with telco and AI stuff at work, it reenergises me with real life!! *shoutout to all those who are over burdened with work life, find a way to disconnect from corporate /work life to find yourself something real that gives you pure joy *

It's a good vibe w lots of machines for skeeball and pool! The drinks are what you would expect but it's good vibes

It's similar to barcade but not as many retro games. But it's a cool bar to hang out at and grab drinks with friends. The place is pretty big so plenty of areas to stand or sit. It can get crowded late at night but the pool table and skeeball area has less foot traffic. They also have a Photo Booth near the rest room.

A great venue for a fun hang with lots of games and activities! Truly a wonderful spot for any size group of friends. Love that you can order shake shack in the venue too!

I've been to every GameOn location (there are three in MD, and reviews of that are coming soon)…read more But I came to the DC location on U St on Saturday night to celebrate my birthday, as I was given a VIP package to bring friends and get perks like $4 shot o'clock (more on that in a bit) and 1/2-priced tokens. The space is incredible, it's two stories, and it's not a ton of space, but they make it work! The drink menu is creative -- themed after pop culture movies, shows, and video games -- and GameOn really plays into the bit of this being a nerdy bar. They even have anime and game shows playing, so don't come in here expecting to watch the NBA Finals or some shit like that. The arcade selection is decent! NFL Blitz, Tetris, Area 51, Street Fighter II, and Mortal Kombat 2 and MK3 machines were highlights. The service was incredible I mostly stayed on the second floor and the bartenders manning the fort on May 2nd were just the nicest people! So about that shot o'clock wheel, it's one of the coolest bits at all GameOn locations. You pay $6 and the bartender will spin the wheel -- whatever it lands on you take a shot of it. The food is also great (recommend the hot dog or hamburger). Also the slushies, adult Capri suns, and the "they killed Kenny" cocktail were incredible as well. Def check this place out.

They also had old school anime playing on the tvs just to remind you how long ago that was. I mainly got beer here to drink but I did play a couple of the games. I think it was just Yeungling as far as I remember. The menu features cocktails, beers/ipas/ along with snacks you can order to share or to eat! I think the service will be a tad slow but I believe it's worth the wait when everything comes together. I will also note that the arcade also takes tokens so please bring cash ( there is an atm but they have a fee ) so just keep that in mind when you are visiting there for the first time.

I went with my niece and was genuinely surprised by how much fun we had! The games were interactive, challenging, and a total blast. We laughed a lot, got competitive, and I'm pretty sure people in the other rooms (or "boxes") could hear us having a great time. I'm really glad we gave it a try, and I'd definitely go back. If you have kids or are looking for a unique family outing, I'd say the passes are well worth it. One quick tip: Know exactly where you're going before you arrive. I didn't realize the location is on the outside of the mall, which wasn't a big issue for me, but it could be frustrating if you're tight on time. The confirmation emails do a solid job providing directions--if you're driving and parking. But if you're getting dropped off (like I was via Uber), the signage and location can be a little tricky to spot. A minor hiccup, but something to be aware of.

We had difficulty locating it, so we ran a bit late for our original 8pm time slot, and adding insult to injury, we received a $10 parking ticket for some strange reason when it was not paid parking. (We even have a handicap placard, so there is absolutely no mercy when it comes to the greed of whomever owns/manages that parking garage). When we arrived to the venue, it was immediately obvious their air conditioning broke...it was sweltering. The kid at the front desk said we should've gotten an email about it, and I double checked...we did not. Our group of four, which included two teens on the autism spectrum, asked which games were available and what they suggested for first-timers. No helpful suggestions whatsoever. We opted to try the Angry Birds game simulation since it was at least familiar to the kids. Maybe this is one of their older games, but it just sucked. In addition to being super stuffy and uncomfortable in the enclosed room, the graphics were terrible and not sensitive to any movement or touch. Within five minutes, the kids wanted to go. It couldn't even sustain their attention for five minutes. We asked if there was another game available, and there was not. No offer for a refund or a come-back-and-try-us-again (when we have AC) credit. What a monumental waste of time and money. Never again.

I ordered the same thing this time, "The Game Boy". I'm a real fan of the aioli spread. And my food came out hot!!!!My partner ordered the "Neo Geo Pocket", a fried chicken sandwich with toppings and a flavorful sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce. He loved the sauce and mentioned that it was very flavored well, the batter was crispy, and the bread was soft. I also tried the house lemonade. It was pretty good. The only thing that could've made it better was fresh lemon slices or some type of garnish. After we finished eating we purchased tokens and headed for the games. There was a good amount of people this time, but not as packed as it was last time. Perfect! I played Outrun 2, pinball, and one of the shooting games.
