This place is talked about in this area on the regular. It is a fabled place to stop and browse the toys. A true toy store when other's just offer toy departments. A lot of people will describe this place as a UFO, I want to disagree here with that. It's more along the lines of a military fighter plane. That's not an arrow on their sign, that's the plane. I do see how people say UFO, looking like it's out of 'Flight of the Navigator' and all. When you finally pull in and park you are immediately greeted with toys. Out front of the store they have a few outdoor games set up for use. This theme continues inside and you find out why once you enter. Upon entry to the store you are told by the employees (mostly high schoolers or college kids) that you are welcomed to play with anything that is already opened. There are a lot of things opened, so you could honestly spend your whole day here discovering the toys. I was under the assumption when I arrived here that this place held old school or vintage toys. That is my fault, I thought that this was a throwback store, but by visiting here I now know differently. There are toys in here that are nostalgia inducing, but a lot of what you see is cutting edge and up to date toys. Every single type of toy you can imagine is available. Puzzles, boardgames, sports equipment and much more can be found in here. I had high hopes at finding something for upcoming birthdays, but actually ended up getting myself a boardgame and a magnet to add to my collection. Was it worth the stop, yes. What an incredible toy store. I recently visited and had no idea what to expect as I drove on the highway and saw this massive building out of nowhere. Is it a spaceship? Or a B52 Bomber? Or a bomb shelter? I'm not sure I ever figured that out. But inside, it's a kids dream. My twins ran all over, played make believe and rode tricycles through the aisles. The service was friendly and so helpful. All of the staff went out of their way to show off the toys and give suggestions on what would work best for my kids. The value here is also great. The kids managed to twist my arm and after I said they could get just one toy, they managed to convince me to get a bunch for each of them. Am I a complete pushover parent? You better believe it! Overall, this is a place you must visit if you're in this part of Pennsylvania with kids. It was a major highlight of our road trip. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Quite a few unique toys and there is a nice play area for toddlers. It looks huge from the outside but it is actually pretty small on the inside and it is quite dark in there. They really need better lighting BUT it is still a really nice store. read more

We drove an hour to see this place and it was well worth the trip. There was so much to see. Our little guy was most interested in LEGO's and puzzles but he enjoyed browsing everything else on the shelfs here. We were greeted by a friendly staffer immediately. She found us later and offered a basket when she saw our hands getting full as well. I was impressed by the variety of model cars and building sets. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon and found it to be less crowded during this time. We're excited to return! Adults and kids will enjoy a visit. read more

Cool store! Lots of stuff to choose from if you're into puzzles and games. Some things I never knew existed, haha. They even have an RC section if that's what you're into. I made a long drive to see if they had 1/25 or 1/32 plastic model kits, paint, etc. While there were some kits, there just wasn't that much to choose from. I honestly expected more for it being a specialty store, but I guess it's all about demand when you stock things. The model paint and accessories station is a little bleak, too. I can't say anything bad about the service as they were readily available with any questions and pleasant when I walked in the door. The only thing preventing me from giving a five star review is that I'm not likely to return, as it's not conveniently located to me for the selection of items I was looking for. We enjoy this fun toy store a lot. Today we found a Pirate hand puppet, jingle bells bracelets perfect for story time, books (on sale), a puzzle, mini farm animals dot the train board and paint for the miniature people at the train station. Friendly staff helped us find dice for a game, showed us frisbees and magnets. This store has it all! Located on Route 8 North of Butler. It's a real experience. read more

Now a children's toy store unfriendly to my grandchildren! I got a brochure for this spaceship shaped toy store and happened to be nearby so I dropped in. The silver metal exterior was blinding in the afternoon sun so I didn't get a picture. The place has a large variety of toys and games. Unfortunately there were not many games for preschoolers. There were many Folkmanis stuffed toys but you can get them cheaper elsewhere. None of the staff wore masks or did social distancing. Since there were kids in the store, I asked if they would mask but none of the four staff wanted to wear masks. The manager said that each person chooses what they believe about Covid. read more

We love your Store. Hands down, THE best toy store ever. Sadly, I have visited twice in the last couple weeks and it appears the Store has a no mask required rule. Your store is an indoor air conditioned space. The most risky type of indoor space. As a Grandmother, I will not be back. Sadly when other Grandmas ask about what I do with my two to keep them busy, it will have to be something else. They will ask if masks were required. I would much rather buy local, but not if a simple thing like wearing a mask to protect Grandmas and Grandpas is not followed. You have your "Right" to not wear masks, I have the power of my pocketbook. I truly hope you change your policy for Christmas. read more

We read about them from an online toy store review. We drove about 5 hours from Maryland on a Saturday morning to explore this place. First off, the staff is impeccable, polite, helpful and super knowledgeable with everything in their store. The place is located in butler which is about 1 hour drive from downtown Pittsburg. The store has a lots of puzzle, one of toys, huge collection of RC toys etc. I wish they had more toys for under 5 kids. It not super big neither is it small. Not your typical toy store! They have a huge variety of toys ranging from babies/toddlers all the way up to adult. From puzzles to books to toys from the past one might think no one will have. My son was all about the dinosaurs, while I was about the wide selection of educational toys, books and activities. My husband was lost in the toy car models and accessories to help repair them. And quite honestly, entering a "spaceship" and walking into a toy store alone is a great reason to visit it. read more

Great place for the kids! My son (12) and his friend came along with my mother, and it was a great time! The staff was energetic and always ready to help out with the kids! However, my brother recently went in to speak to the owner about donating a few toys and stuffed animals to the Highmark Caring Place in the memory of a ten year old girl who recently passed, however, the owner did not have time to speak to my brother because she stated she was too busy... Meanwhile a little girl who was friends with the young girl who passed came up with this idea and my brother is trying to help her wish come true of donating these toys in memory of her friend. So disappointed with a child's toy store not even having the time to LISTEN to someone about giving a donation. You may not donate but at least listen... a young girl passed away and her friend is trying to do something in her memory and you are too busy to listen for two minutes... SAD read more

I scheduled a visit here for my Red Hat chapter and what a great time we all had! First they had chairs set up for us in the back of the store and the son, Tim gave us a talk and demo of some of the new toys from the trade shows they attend. Then we all strolled thru the store, checking out all the toys and buying neat stuff for our grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. What a great place! Woohoo, as good as it gets indeed! A must see, must visit, must plan to have fun for as long as you plan to be there type of destination! If you are anywhere near Western Pennsylvania, the intersection of Routes 79 and 80 almost mark the "X", just a short scenic drive south past historical homes, "Weiners Gone Wild" and "The Old Stone House" museum then you are only a couple miles from the most fun you have probably ever had in a store! The family owned business is a huge contributor to our local community and has been a great resource for Allegheny Valley Schools. I work in Slippery Rock Program Center of AVS and I can't tell you how the endless inventory of games, toys, sports equip., hobby & even novelty items and collectibles have been a blessing for our programs. I can honestly say that I have been in toy stores and shopping malls all over the world and the closest you will find,( from my experience) to match quality and selection/variety of toys would be Einkaufszentrum Atrio in Austria. Imagine all the toys and cool stuff you could buy right here in Butler County PA, without spending thousands on a flight and hotel in Austria! Seriously- I'm guaranteeing you and your family will not be disappointed. And the building is a Stealth Bomber landed right in front of a dirt bike and quad racing track!
