I've had mixed to declining results and, with this last visit, I am done! The customer service has always been weak and now I'm at the breaking point. Because I have limited time each visit, I try to email a list of what I'm looking for in advance. Management either doesn't check their email or simply don't care. Last week, I called twice and unfortunately got the same person who thoroughly discouraged emailing in favor of coming in because "it would be easier" and "they don't have time to look." Easier for whom? Certainly not the returning costomer. Since they're close to the airport and I had time, I stopped in anyway on Fri. I spoke with who I believe to be the owner and he also wasn't too interested in making time to check books that he said he had in the back that were recently purchased. They were apparently getting ready for a sale the next day and possibly making a sale in the moment was clearly not that important. They made a copy of my list, took my name and number and said they would check. I made it clear that I was leaving Mon, today. As of 1:00, no call. So I called the store. The clerk who answered has no idea I'm talking about and was very dismissive, and the owner isn't there until tomorrow. They don't talk their employees anymore than their customers. So, that's it. I've had it with them and won't be going back even if they had the hardest to find book on my list. One of the worst shops I've ever been to for customer service. Shame on me for having given them multiple chances to do right.

First of all, I'd like to thank Box Lunch for giving me great additions to my life, like my Disney crockpot and my scratch off world map. They have different sections for each movie, Tv show, etc., and the store is always so organized and clean. A few awesome sections they always have when I come are Disney, Star Wars, Harry Potter, just to name a few. You can find the most interesting things in here, or the most basic things like a T shirt from your favorite 90's show. I have to boast about the employees to, because they are so sweet and helpful every single time we come in! We recently came in to grab some Harry Potter shirts for Potterpalooza, and the girl at the register was excited to strike up a conversation about it with us! Kathys shoppe is a local Lousiville store that sells hundreds of unique items. I actually did not…read moreencounter them at there storefront. They were setup at the buy local fair at water tower park in Louisville. Walking around with my wife and kids and this booth drew them in. They had some really cool items and my girls did some browsing and my oldest daughter actually got a pair of earrings. Upon checking in they do have a 20 percent yelp coupon which is always nice. I was skeptical if they would eat me use it being it was at a fair type setup. The worker at first was hesitant on its validity but when I showed him he accepted the coupon so that was cool. Overall it seems like a cool place and my daughter is a fan of her earrings. From the stuff they had the fair they are moderately priced. My daughters and wife want to eventually check out there store front so we can get the full shopping experience.

This spot serves as a general store offering up some ridiculously cute household items including candles, tools, décor, office supplies, paper goods, toiletries, and so much more! One of my favorite items in the store were some ridiculously beautiful matches. They were pricier than your average matches, but I absolutely love candles, and they were gorgeous.. so, worth it! And TTD has been where we go to get even more. We love the tables of cards that are easy to peruse according to cost. TTD also recently got a Pokemon card vending machine -- my quarters have never been so coveted by my son! This is a very large space. We recently visited with my brother in law and his kids, and he mentioned that they don't have anywhere as nice as this where they live in Philly. TTD has everything you would need for other card games, like Magic, as well as D&D and board games. And there are several tables set up in the middle of the store for folks to actually play games. TTD hosts several competitions too. If you're into nerdy pursuits, chances are TTD is your place!
