What I was unaware of was that by paying online my card was signed up for payments to be taken from my card the 1rst of every month. I did not catch the charges until August. I contacted the YMCA concerning the issue. I NEVER EVER WOULD HAVE SIGNED UP FOR PAYMENTS TO COME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ON THE 1RST AS I DON'T GE PAID UNTIL THE 4TH. ALSO, I WAS BEING CHARGED $37. AND IN APRIL THE PAYMENT CHANGED TO $18.50 PLUS ONLINE PAYMENT CHARGES. They did refund $18.50 minus the online charges because those are non refundable... but basically inferred I was an idiot because I didn't read every word on the page or disclosure. I tried to tell Margret there was a problem with their online program. I do not believe I am the only person effected. They got this New 360 page which is totally confusing as I was told I needed to pay on there. I am not sure why they have 2 pages for the YMCA to get info and to find out their schedules, make payments and so on. Why not just have it all on 1 site? I have been going to the YMCA since I was 5yeaars old with my father. I am 65years old. I LOVE THE YMCA. IT HAS PROVIDED MYSELF AND MY FAMILY WITHWONDWERFUL OPPORTUNITIES. I RECOMMEND IT FOR ALL OF THE SERVICES THAY PROVIDE AND ALMOST ALL OF THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, HELPFULLY AND UPLIFTING. THIS ACCOUNT WAS FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN and now my account is gone.

I don't doubt your sincerity, but you might take another look at your school statistics and see what the average SAT score really is. Oh... I just looked it up. IN 2005, the max score went up to 2400. In 2016 it came back down to 1600 again. I see how one could get confused about that.

They will be rude to your kids as if they employ them. This school is a no nonsense business and your children are their employees, keep away from this poor excuse for an education at all costs EDIT: For those who doubt that I went to this school. My art teacher, Mrs F, was out of her mind. She gave us yellow foam to use for 'art'. She told us not to get it in our eyes. We were in 6th grade. She never taught. Never. My Spanish teacher sent one of friends home for wearing sweatpants. This was not uncommon. They hold an auction every year to generate funds. They have multiple magazine subscription sales programs where students are encouraged to sell magazines in exchange for prized. One such prize, costing one subscription, is a random drawing from a pencil dispenser. They drawing determine your price, often what was literally a colored cotton ball. Their honor role was paid. A $5 donation bought you a place on the honor roll. They state on their website that 100% of their graduates enroll in college. When I was there, there were 4 seniors. The fees for this school are huge. Which is fine if it weren't a toxic environment where revenue is put above students. Everything they do is done to create the illusion that they are using your money for the benefit of your kids. Do not be fooled. Get out while you can. Public school is much better, with teachers that actually care.

As a parent, it's so hard to find the right person or center to care for our kids. I feel as if our family is extremely lucky to have found such a great center. The staff here isn't just staff; they are family. The owner, Dana, is so involved and heavy on good communication with parents. I have loved watching her pour her heart and soul into maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for the kids over the years. I must highlight the activities and events they organize because they are truly top-notch. Whether it's an outdoor adventure, a fun field trip, a creative craft session, or a themed celebration... The staff put a lot of thought and effort into creating memorable experiences for the children, and it's something we deeply appreciate. They put together monthly family fun nights at no cost to the families (such as going to a River Bandits game or renting out an entire movie theater!) to allow staff and families to connect at a higher level which I think is spectacular and I have never heard of any other centers doing this. I have had some troubles with my 4-year old's behavior, and they've always been quick to address any concerns or issues that arise, and they do so with empathy and understanding. There were a few weeks where I had to talk to his teachers every single day about it and we were able to work together and come up with specific solutions to help my son. After just a few weeks of both of us working with him the way we did, his behavior improved so much. Without the compassion they have, these issues we were having would have surly escalated. In essence, IACW is a second home for my babies. They've created irreplaceable bonds with their teachers and countless memories. There hasn't been a single day in over 3 years that my kids didn't want to go to IACW. I would highly recommend this daycare.
