Tldr; Comfortable and lots of seating, Good amenities, Disappointing food, Flaky WiFi Would recommend the SkyTeam Lounge over this I had very high expectations from this lounge after reading a bunch of reviews, but it did not live up to what I was hoping for. At least for this visit! There was a bar section and a restaurant area section. The latter was very spacious with a lot of seating options, and a variety of types of seating options too! There were individual semi-enclosed cubbies, tables, high table seating, and softer couch-seats of different types! Too many options at one point, haha! It was well lit and looked really lush! The food was quite a disappointment though in terms of healthy options. There were dinner rolls, a soup, cheese, salami, a small salad bar (some of the greens we're a bit bitter, but nice choices of dressings though), Fish Stew (the fish itself was quite tasteless, but the curry was okay), Rice, Thai Red Chicken Curry (it looked good, but quite unhealthy!), Creamy Mushroom pasta(so-so), Dal Tadka (this was good! I had white a bit!), Papdums and mini samosas with tamarind sauce (they seed like a hit coz a lot of people were taking them, but again, quite unhealthy!). They brought out some hummus after a while, which was just okay. If you're looking for good food, with a lot of options and even amazing in taste, I'd recommend the SkyTeam lounge! The bar section look top notch too, with a bar tender and some paid cocktail options. There were a bunch of snacks out there like nachos, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and tomatoes too. In terms of the amenities, there were shower (something to take advantage of, but I was too lazy haha), nap rooms, and some recliner chairs. I was surprised that even the recliner chairs were chargeable at about £10 for just 2 hours. Seems a bit much. I sat there for about 3 hours, and the wifi kept getting disconnecting every now and then. Not something I would expect in a pay-to-use lounge!

Tip: The kitchen closes at 9pm and the lounge closes at 10pm. They let us through at 8:50p and we were able to order a delicious and piping hot 3 course meal after a long day of travel and very little food. This place had lovely comfy seating and the food was very gourmet. We got the fish and chips and the tikka masalla. It was to die for! If all lounger were like this one, I'd be so happy. Can't wait to visit again. Service was also impeccable and the bathrooms were squeaky clean.

I came here from the plaza lounge after seeing pictures online and noticing that they had more food options, haha. And I was right! They definitely had much better food, I wish I'd gone there earlier than 7:30pm! There was an Italian section which had pasta, marinara and funghi sauce. There was also another hot foods section which had green beans (went well with everything), parsnip puree (this was just okay), Tilapia in tomato sauce (quite large filets of tilapia! I'd have savored it more, but I'm not a fan of tomato sauce), rice, and some great butter chicken! The chicken was perfectly cooked, so soft and just fell apart so well. I can't even! Even the curry was really good, I was pleasantly surprised! This was a good meal! There was also a salad bar (which even had crumbled cheese unlike the other lounges I've been to), the snacks included a cheese board with 3 different cheeses (!), some meats, sandwiches, some meat, and crackers too. Their desserts looked really appetizing - carrot and spices cake, pound cake, and a pie - and I had a hard time resisting it! The bar area was a little small though, and got crammed when too many people all went around the same time. Appreciate the bottled water! They had good WiFi, it didn't flake on me even once in the 3 hours I was there(unlike the Plaza Premium WiFi). They had a variety of seating options too, and it was so nice and spacious. I loved the open seating setup and it didn't feel like people were just invading your privacy. Wasn't too crowded either, and perfect to spend a lot of time there. The staff didn't seem like they cared if you were there longer than 3 hours.

The line was out the door with a 30 minute wait (and frankly not my favorite lounge, see my separate review of that one), and thankfully they told us to head to My Lounge which had more availability. They are both run by the same company, with My Lounge being recently remodeled and reopened (previously Club Aspire) in the past few months. Walking into the lounge it's decorated with a cozy vibe, think textured brick walls, warm jewel tone tweed textures on the furniture with medium wood accents in the floor and bookshelves, reminiscent of a modern family room. Seating inside looks roughly enough for about 100 people, at mostly lounge chairs and couches. There's decent spacing so that it doesn't feel too crowded. Check-in counter is immediately inside the entrance, at around 10:30am it wasn't too crowded, we were able to enter right away. Later on when we left around 1pm there was a short wait of about 10-15 minutes. Directly to the right of the check-in, there's a small, more private lounge room with seating for about 8-10 which is where we parked ourselves. Walking left past the check-in counter the space opens up to a bar serving liquor and cocktails, and a food bar along the wall. They had breakfast food set out, including yogurt, smoothies, granola and cereal, cut fruit, bread and mini pastries, and warm food including all the elements of a traditional English breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, toast, roasted tomatoes, roasted potatoes. There was also a pancake station which I've seen at a couple other Europe lounges, and you can basically pour your own batter and it goes through a mini oven and pops out cooked on the other side. Around noon they also set out lunch food though we didn't end up eating much of that. Free WiFi is available and strong. There are screens scattered around the lounge with airline info though similar to other lounges no announcements are made, so you have to keep track of your own boarding time. Bathrooms are in decent shape. Normal hours are 5:00am to 10:00pm. Not a bad place to spend a few hours, would def stop by again if I lay over at Heathrow Terminal 3! I had silver status membership on their scheme which allows lounge access so it would be rude to the company to not take advantage. The lounge itself is below the sky team lounge which is opposite gate 10 on terminal 4 and initially a little difficult to find though the attendants were very helpful. On arrival I had a tour of the lounge with a very nice lady who later dragged me out when the flight was departing! Whilst the lounge itself is noticeably smaller than other Heathrow lounges the interior is quite luxurious with comfy leather seats and a range of amenities. The service is generally good with attentive but not intrusive staff. The extra amenities include a six senses spa, an a la carte menu with a buffet, the usual range if drinks a and business centre facilities. At the six senses you can book a range of treatments that each last 15 mins from hand massages to wet shaves to reiki treatments. Sadly there was no capacity today (though the website encourages booking on arrival) In terms of the food I only ate from the a la carte where the portions are small and manageable pre flight the baked cod I had did appear a little dry. As mentioned there is a (actually quite good looking buffet menu too. In addition to the above there is also a prayer room and baby changing facilities but no shower which would have been welcome. Generally a great lounge squeezed into a small space that is particularly good as if you have silver membership there is access no matter what class you fly.

Overall service & quality of Etihad is much superior to other airlines flying out of LHR

Reason being relative to the amount of traffic this terminal gets, the lounge capacity is very limited. The waitlist can be up 45+ minutes and it's not guaranteed that everyone on the waitlist can enter before they need to board their flight. This time it appeared they were giving some priority to people who had to board sooner as long as I was willing to share a table with another customer. In this lounge the staff assign seats to each customer which isn't something you usually see, though made sense based on the small size. Since I had only about 15 minutes prior to boarding time I wasn't choosy about comfort, really just wanted to grab a quick breakfast prior to getting on the flight, so this was fine by me. There's a small bar with breakfast selection of the day being "English breakfast" items: scrambled eggs, baked beans, crispy bacon, sausage. They also had some fruit/veg juices, pancakes (via a nifty little pancake machine), a bar with limited alcoholic drinks, and regular coffee/tea options. Functional enough for a quick stop though less comfortable than some other international lounges in terms of space, but still better than many lounges in the US when comparing quality of food.
