When I went to check it out for myself, I was…read moreshocked; I was expecting a tiny shop packed to the gills with yarn, but this place is spacious, with tons of different notions, yarns, books, sewing machines, and embroidery kits and thread, among other things. The staff are super sweet and kind. As soon as my toddler and I walked in, we were greeted kindly and patiently. The cashier I spoke to was also super friendly despite trying to do the inventory and take care of us. She does an excellent job, since the shop is better stocked than a lot of the big box places I've been to and they don't have the advantage of the self-inventorying point of sales system that a lot of big box places have. I usually order my needles and notions because I like to use one particular brand and was thrilled to see it here. It's really hard to find the interchangeable cables for this brand in the smaller sock lengths I like to use even online and I was excited to see them here. I will definitely be back; this place will easily be my go-to for embroidery floss and needles, in addition to yarns. If they end up getting a spinning section, I will never have to shop online again!

The seasonal aisle is terrific, the framing department is top knot here and affordable, and decorating needs pretty good. A little (or a lot) of everything. Fun just to walk around and look at all the cool stuff. Customer service is hit or miss. Some employees are extremely friendly and some act put-out to help. Prices are inexpensive to moderately expensive, depending on the sales or items. Look for the 40% off coupon online. My only annoyance (besides the off customer service experience) is their greeting card selection is 98% scripture-laced. Would like more options that aren't religious or have anything religious in them.

They have a ton of fun classes for adults and children that they have on a pretty regular basis. I have been to do the gnome class where you get to make a gnome out of clay yourself and then paint it. They are super helpful and break things down to a simple level. This place is one of the first to close completely during the shut down. They still haven't opened…read moreto the public, but offer delivery and pickup to those who need to get their craft supplies. Most of their things are by local fiber artists, which is so cool; I loved going in to check out everything when they were open to the public. Their staff is so nice. I'm blue-yellow colorblind and have trouble finding matching colors for my projects. Every time I come in asking questions, the staff have gone above and beyond to help me.
