It's massive with a brilliant use of space and has something for everyone. You can spend hours here, and the staff is always polite, friendly and fun. While there are deals to be found at times with close-outs and discontinued items, expect to pay full Disney resort prices here but no matter what you're favorite character or movie is...it will be somewhere in The World of Disney.

This is the only quick service location and gift shop at the resort. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner items as well as selling Disney merchandise, prepackaged food items, prepackaged drinks and liquor and beer/wine. The merchandise side is in the front, where most people enter and is rather small for a resort gift shop. There were a few items with the resort name but not really what we wanted. We were looking for a shot glass or magnet but they did not have that. They also sell Disney pins, a few tee-shirts, a few toys and other things. It was limited but had a decent amount of stuff. I was just personally surprised with the limited items for sale. Food wise they offered some pre-made sandwiches, salads, they had pre-packaged food items such as bread and jelly, cereal, things like that. Some of the rooms at the resort do have a small kitchen so having those items to buy was a very nice touch. Hot food was typical Disney food with mickey waffle, breakfast sandwiches and such. We pretty much ate breakfast here. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which came on a bagel with egg, cheese and bacon. It was also served with potatoes. It was really good, I would have preferred a croissant option but they only had the the bagel. My wife ordered a kids meal which came with 2 mickey waffles, sausage and grapes. They are your typical mickey waffles and were good. Everything here is to go only. There are no tables inside however, there is a solarium across from them. In there, which we did not discover until the last day, they had lots of tables to sit at. I would have preferred for the cast members to tell us, I guess they just assumed everyone went back to the room. But overall this is a good stop if you are staying at the resort. Should you make a special trip here, no, but definitely check it out if you are staying. ACES!

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner items. It is not fancy, but has your typical Disney items. It is also unique in that it also partners with the Beach Club gift shop. You can purchase food here but also merchandise. For the merchandise side, they have a few Beach Club specific items as well as Disney items such as pins, tee-shirts, jackets, magnets, toys and such. It is not the largest selection of items but it had a decent variety. I was really wanting to get something that said Beach Club but unfortunately their options were limited. I would have loved a shot glass or coffee cup that specifically said Beach Club but they really only had ornaments and shirts. They also offered bottles of liquor, bottles of wine, cases of beer and some simple grocery items. I did think that was nice for families to make some simple items. Some of the rooms at Beach Club have a small kitchen area. They also sell the reusable cups you can purchase for your stay and refill. I like these cups but I don't. You have to come back to the marketplace every time you want a refill, they do not work in the park even though they should! For food, we ate breakfast here. They had breakfast sandwiches, mickey waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, pretty consistent with Disney breakfast. It was pretty good for quick service. For lunch and dinner they offered some hot items such as burgers and chicken sandwiches, but also had pre made cold sandwiches and salads all ready to grab and go. Overall this was a great stop. My only issue is everything is to go. There are no tables here. We ate in our room one day and the lobby the other day. We did see on our check out day, they have a solarium across from the marketplace. In there they had a bunch of tables and chairs in there. I guess that is where you can go to eat. I think the cast members could have said something to us to let us know. But this is a really good stop, they do not have tons of options but what they do have was really good. I would go back for sure. If you are staying here I would recommend checking it out.

This is the smaller gift shop upstairs new the restaurants and a great place to look around the shop when waiting for your reservation if you are dining here. They also sell food you can cook for the parties that have a kitchen in their room. We have been shopping here for many years.

You can find the Moana Mercantile on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House at the…read morePolynesian Resort, opposite Kona Cafe. Opened in 2014, it replaced Trader Jack's. Look for it just outside the monorail entrance. The mercantile is a smaller scale gift shop. The much larger Boutiki is located on the first floor. What sets this shop apart is that is sells beverages, snacks, candy, and frozen meals. I even saw bottles of wine. If you don't feel like leaving the property and the restaurant is closed you can definitely find something to eat. Of course convenience comes with a higher price tag. Moana Mercantile also stocks clothes, accessories, toys, and anything you would need for the pool. I liked the Hei Hei shirt. He's my favorite Moana character. Of course they sell a Moana dress so you can turn your little girl into a Polynesian princess. Like all Disney stores this is clean and well organized and stocked with cute merchandise. All of the employees are dressed in their tropical best. Even if you are not staying at the resort it is just a few steps from the monorail station making it very easy for everyone to get to. The only downside is Disney merchandise is expensive. If you have transportation it is better to shop at the Character Warehouse at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets. It is where Disney sells their overstocks and discontinued merchandise for a discount although I noticed prices were rising there too recently. If price is not a concern this is a lovely store to shop at, especially for Moana fans.

5 stars for a Disney pin collector's hot spot…read more Located on the 4th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort (otherwise known as the hotel that has the monorail running through it), Fantasia gifts is the only Disney resort (at least in Orlando) that carries Limited Edition and Limited Release Disney pins (new ones come out every Thursday). Fantasia has 4 entrances/exits and does offer more Disney souvenir offerings in addition to pins. This bustling store offers games, toys, t-shirts, pens and even pet-centric souvenirs. The cast members are always friendly and ready to help answer any question. Also, if you're looking for a particular item and they don't have it in stock, you can ask a cast member if the item is available anywhere else on Disney property. Tip: if you are coming to the Contemporary by car (as opposed to the free Disney bus system or monorail), just show the security guards at the gate your ID and explain your intent to purchase souvenirs. Unless there's a convention or other event that is causing them to experience a high volume of guests, they usually let you in without having a resort or dining reservation.

The first floor is all Universal IPs and is huge. The second floor is giant as well- but is only Harry Potter merchandise. There is a huge screen that wraps the roof of the second floor - there is a loop on the video screen of Hogwarts.
