Looking up stores in the area on a Thursday morning around 4:00 A.M., we noticed this Walgreens was open! We ended up stopping by to pick up some Dayquil, Nyquil, and some cherry throat lozenges. It's right next to the I-4 and pretty close to the Walt Disney World properties! The store is clean and well organized! The staff that was there early morning was helpful and asked if we needed anything during our visit at Walgreens!

But not every oasis is a good oasis. For it's purpose as a gas station, this location definitely serves that purpose. As for a convenience store...well...it's not far off the mark. But also does not hit the mark totally. I walked here from my hotel to get a few things. Drinks, snacks, smokes. I did this mostly because I didn't want to have to run around when I got back home finally. This was a stop about total convenience. After a walk here I was ready to browse the shelves. I noticed their area where they had prepared items, but I didn't have that in mind. Instead, I was going to browse the prepackaged snacks. They had some sales happening which may have persuaded me in some purchases. I grabbed a few things, headed to the register, asked for an item behind the register, and paid. Swear, there was no one in her when I came in, but as soon as I reached the counter, a line formed behind me. Like several people were behind me. As soon as I paid, I was out the door.

This is the only quick service location and gift shop at the resort. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner items as well as selling Disney merchandise, prepackaged food items, prepackaged drinks and liquor and beer/wine. The merchandise side is in the front, where most people enter and is rather small for a resort gift shop. There were a few items with the resort name but not really what we wanted. We were looking for a shot glass or magnet but they did not have that. They also sell Disney pins, a few tee-shirts, a few toys and other things. It was limited but had a decent amount of stuff. I was just personally surprised with the limited items for sale. Food wise they offered some pre-made sandwiches, salads, they had pre-packaged food items such as bread and jelly, cereal, things like that. Some of the rooms at the resort do have a small kitchen so having those items to buy was a very nice touch. Hot food was typical Disney food with mickey waffle, breakfast sandwiches and such. We pretty much ate breakfast here. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which came on a bagel with egg, cheese and bacon. It was also served with potatoes. It was really good, I would have preferred a croissant option but they only had the the bagel. My wife ordered a kids meal which came with 2 mickey waffles, sausage and grapes. They are your typical mickey waffles and were good. Everything here is to go only. There are no tables inside however, there is a solarium across from them. In there, which we did not discover until the last day, they had lots of tables to sit at. I would have preferred for the cast members to tell us, I guess they just assumed everyone went back to the room. But overall this is a good stop if you are staying at the resort. Should you make a special trip here, no, but definitely check it out if you are staying. ACES!

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner items. It is not fancy, but has your typical Disney items. It is also unique in that it also partners with the Beach Club gift shop. You can purchase food here but also merchandise. For the merchandise side, they have a few Beach Club specific items as well as Disney items such as pins, tee-shirts, jackets, magnets, toys and such. It is not the largest selection of items but it had a decent variety. I was really wanting to get something that said Beach Club but unfortunately their options were limited. I would have loved a shot glass or coffee cup that specifically said Beach Club but they really only had ornaments and shirts. They also offered bottles of liquor, bottles of wine, cases of beer and some simple grocery items. I did think that was nice for families to make some simple items. Some of the rooms at Beach Club have a small kitchen area. They also sell the reusable cups you can purchase for your stay and refill. I like these cups but I don't. You have to come back to the marketplace every time you want a refill, they do not work in the park even though they should! For food, we ate breakfast here. They had breakfast sandwiches, mickey waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, pretty consistent with Disney breakfast. It was pretty good for quick service. For lunch and dinner they offered some hot items such as burgers and chicken sandwiches, but also had pre made cold sandwiches and salads all ready to grab and go. Overall this was a great stop. My only issue is everything is to go. There are no tables here. We ate in our room one day and the lobby the other day. We did see on our check out day, they have a solarium across from the marketplace. In there they had a bunch of tables and chairs in there. I guess that is where you can go to eat. I think the cast members could have said something to us to let us know. But this is a really good stop, they do not have tons of options but what they do have was really good. I would go back for sure. If you are staying here I would recommend checking it out.

We've had the foot long chili cheese dog at almost every other resort that's had it, and this was by far the best packaging. Any time I've asked for the hot dog to go at every single other resort, they tell me they can't pack it to go. This location put the hot dog in a sleeve by itself and packaged the chili and toppings on the side. It was so much nicer than other locations packaging and everyone was super kind working in this location. The Little Mermaid dessert I would highly recommend! So delicious! The Captain Hook dessert was a little underwhelming for us, it was very dry but very adorable.

After making my selections I went to the checkout area. This store has a zig zag entrance that forces everyone to go the same route. At first I had no idea where the line was and thought I was meant to go to where the exit it for the area. Finally found the entrance to the check out area. It was quick, especially since I am signed up to receive my receipt via email. Asked if I wanted a bag but I stuffed it in the one I already had.

And keep all your codes ....so that you can manage situations better.

On the day of my visit, I took half a cup decaf; and, blended it with half a cup of dark roast. The coffee tasted fine; but, was nowhere near the appropriate serving temperature. It was almost cold. I learned later that the conference provided hot coffee in the convention center lobby, so I needn't have wasted my time with a stop.
