I had a number of small issues that probably individually would not have been problematic (scheduling/timing issues, lack of response to email, lack of response to specific requests, lack of apparent plan). As they began to accumulate, I attempted multiple times to reach out to diffuse the situation and work on a resolution. And again no resolution was made despite multiple attempts. The only response I did get was basically placating me without giving me any solutions. The final straw for me was that they charged me for the services without my approval and without confirming that the job was complete, which, for my opinion, it wasn't because I was dissatisfied with the services and no one had provided me with a resolution

I love the landscaping design in my front and back yards thanks to Ken Lerner of Total Concepts…read more Ken has a great eye for design, a great ear to hear what you hope to achieve (very important), a great knowledge of plants and a great crew to help it all materialize perfectly. I tried on two previous occasions with two other landscapers and was disappointed both times. Ken understood what I was hoping to create with my outdoor spaces and made it happen. He used plants and rocks that were different and beautiful. One of the trees that he found for me, he hoped he could find another for himself! It is probably my favorite. Ken oversaw the project with a critical eye. He was not afraid to make changes to his original plan, in order to please me, or his own sense of style as the project progressed. In addition, he did my fencing and lighting. I didn't have to deal with coordinating between companies. Ken took care of it all. He was so easy to work with. Total Concepts will continue to maintain my property going forward. It always looks wonderful and I am confident that it alway will. I am so happy with the results and so happy that I found Total Concepts!

I was very disappointed with this company. I had them come out to build the side of my house up…read morewith dirt and had sod laid. The work that was done was to the right of the picture posted below. The reason I was getting it done was because the ground was starting to settle and the grass was getting really damp. Pretty much when they came out I ask them to do whatever they needed to fix this problem. While the section they did was nice they created this giant pond that now lays in my front yard every time it rains. This was NEVER there before. I paid over $2,000 for this. I called him to come back out and pretty much Anthony said it was my fault for not grading it further. I am not a professional and it was his job to advise me to go further. After asking him to fix it he told me it would be another $2,000. This area was 3 times smaller than the original area. I found this company based off of reviews and friends that have use them. As a business owner myself, I am disappointed they did not make it right. A year later the water still sits. I will not be recommending this company.

With our agreement of a very big job I put down a large deposit/down payment (and that comes with the territory when you want a big job done) but you are risking that money because you put it out without one hour of work done or any product delivered. that being said, these guys agree to do the work with the balance being paid at the completion of the job. Pretty simple right ? Not so much , I come home from work on the first day of the 3 day job and the owners son is already asking for chunks of money because he " needs to pay his guys". Not really my responsibility?! But you feel like being a good person and help the guy out....but then each day he keeps going to the well wanting more money $$$ . After all this, you would think that this guy would honor his work ? Nope , when I show him proof of a dead tree he claims it is alive... just dormant. Just no talking sense to this company , it's a shame , they're local and do good work but they can't get out of there own way. They tore up my property driving truck on it and scratched up expensive deck furniture. They ordered extra sod (after promising any extra would be used) but then refused to lay it and let it go bad. Won't replace the dead tree after finally admitting it was dead claiming there's a 30 day " warranty " on tree ! They planted it dormant and it never came to life like the others . Instead of working it out to finish the agreed upon job they just threaten you with court and lawsuits when you won't pay for unfinished work. Gladly will get a laugh out of the judge when they are shown this company's fraud!
