At first, I was happy with the work, since my smile was much better. Unfortunately, I was in for a rude awakening. This office doesn't stand behind their work. Their 5 year 'warranty' means nothing to them.  I've spent the last 3 years not being able to eat with my front teeth, being worried every single day that my tooth would fall out, because it's done just that for 3 years. The tooth has fallen off every 3-6 months for almost 3 years now. Every time it happens, the doctor denies that anything is wrong with it and just re-cements it back on knowing it'll fall off in another 3-6 months. Each time I've asked for it to be actually fixed but was told that "nothing was wrong with it". Knowing full well that something was indeed wrong with it because a crown shouldn't fall off continuously.  When I pushed to have something be done with it, they tried dropping me as a patient and tried getting me to sign an NDA waiver stating I wouldn't speak of this to anyone. When I said I wouldn't sign anything, they then told me it was "miscommunication" and wanted to see me again. Then when I told them I do not want to be seen in their office because of how they've treated me, they've ignored me for 3 months.   I've seen two doctors since and both confidently told me they could fix it and that something is indeed wrong with it. Now I'm left to have to pay for this tooth fully a second time. Actually, the Dental assistant at the new practice could even see it right away and had two ideas prior to even seeing the dentist!  I am writing this review today, in hopes that someone will see this and it will spare them the time and effort and suffering that this place has put me through.

No root canals with crowns to properly…read moresave your teeth, all they want to do is pull your teeth then send you to an oral surgeon to have several teeth pulled. After teeth are removed they then insist you have cadaver bone transplanted into your jaw, which can be rejected, and they wait for it to (MAYBE) heal, so they can then send you for more tests and see if you can have tooth implants installed that take another year or so to heal and hope for no complications which apparently most people end up with! For further info, look at the recent article published by the Head of Harvard University Dental Medical Health. Restorative dental care is healthier and much safer for everyone in both the short and long term. Kalil and Kress no longer do what is best for the patients long term health. We know, we were their clients in the first months they opened their dental office and in 2024 after consulting with our Harvard Medical/Dental MD's and MassGenBrigham, we left Kalil & Kress for a much healthier dental practice !

In fact, it became a little bit more like a factory. Wait times increased (why book a 2 pm appointment to then wait until 2:30pm to see the dental assistant?!?!). The constant up sale for mouth guards became incessant. The basic feel of the place was to find a way to get more $$$$ from you. The final straw was having a procedure done at a high cost that was not needed to be done at that time since our insurance was switching over. One would think that Kalil and Kress would find a solution to either provide a discounted rate or some sort of discount for the years of being a loyal customer but this was not the case. Much like Nashua Eye, they grew too big and it was time to leave and find another place to take our business to. Am I sad? I little bit. Could this been prevented? I am not sure. I can say this, if I get told that I grind my teeth and need a mouth guard at $400, I am going to lose my mind.....I guess the article in Dentistry Today says "push the mouth guards, it's easy money....."
