We took…read morethe monorail from Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and then transferred to the EPCOT line to get to EPCOT. We had no issues. The Magic Kingdom Monorail Station is located just outside the entrance to Magic Kingdom. You can't miss it. I think the 12 Mark VI (Mk6) monorail trains look cool. They're sort of retro-futuristic, at least for the time they were rolled out (1989-1991). Interesting Fact: While they look identical, Monorail Peach (which joined the fleet in 2011) has a unique history. It was constructed using the undamaged center cars from the retired Pink and Purple trains following an accident in 2009, with two brand-new cabs built to finish it off. Because it was "reborn" from the parts of two other trains, many Disney fans have nicknamed it the "Phoenix" train. If you want to see if you're on the "Phoenix," look for the peach-colored stripe. As of April 2024, it also features new black deltas (the small triangular accents on the stripe) and a completely refurbished interior with updated black flooring and fresh seat padding. It's one of the sharpest-looking trains in the 2026 fleet. In general, I found the trains to be on time, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The stations were well-marked, and the guest flow was handled efficiently by staff. Finally, the Cast Members who operated the trains and manned the stations were polite and courteous. The Pilots even wave at you as the trains enter the stations. All of this is what you expect from Disney (high standards). Tip: If you're heading to EPCOT, try to get a window seat. The EPCOT line does a full loop around Spaceship Earth and the World Celebration area before pulling into the station. It's a nice elevated view of the park's new gardens and architecture that were completed in 2024.

They allowed us to park in the first row since my mom left her placard for handicap. Afterwards the tram took us to the monorail drop off. Then we walked hand and hand until we got up top. They provided us with a wheelchair to assist with my mom. I definitely got a workout in. We enjoyed our entire time. They were out of ecv and we join the waitlist. It was one available within 4 hours eventhough we were 24th in line. The chicken sandwich at the launching pad was fresh and delicious. Dinner we ate at the crystal palace with pooh and his friendly characters. The food was really good. I recommend for sure. See you soon disney. Perks of being a AP holder you get discounts at the crystal palace currently.

The transportation and ticket center is the central transportation hub for magic kingdom. If you…read moredrove to Magic Kingdom, then you will end up here. The parking lot of Magic Kingdom is massive! This is my issue with it, its so large, that's fine, but they never have enough trams to pick up people. You end up waiting and then are jammed on the tram. Once you get to the front of the ticket center you have to go through security. This is another issue, they only have one line. There are so many people and one line! It's crazy! The ticket center also has ticket booths, but I would recommend buying your ticket ahead of time. Once you are past security you have three options to get to the parks: you can 1. Take the monorail to Magic Kingdom, 2. Take the Ferry Boat to Magic Kingdom or 3. Take the monorail to EPCOT. This is also the spot if you are park hoping from Magic to EPCOT or vice versa. You can also get to the monorail resorts from here. Overall this is fine, you kind of have no option if you drive to Magic Kingdom. Chances are you will go through here at some point. It's fine, its large and has all you need to get to the parks.

The transportation and ticket center is the main hub, it is attached to the parking lot which is giant. Once you get here, you have 3 options. 1. Take the monorail to Magic Kingdom 2. Take the Ferry Boat to Magic Kingdom 3. Take the monorail to EPCOT And then on really busy days or when there are issues with the Ferry or Monorail, they have buses to take you to Magic Kingdom. This is fine, there is not much to say about it. You have to come through here when you drive to Magic Kingdom. If you plan on ending the day at Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, (park hoping to both), I would suggest parking here. It is easy to hop via the monorail from Magic to EPCOT. You can also purchase tickets here but the lines are long in the morning. I would also recommend getting your tickets before heading to the park. They also have security checkpoint here, so you will go through security, but then when you get to the park you do not have to go through again, you have already done it. The security line can get long, they usually funnel everyone into one line which is slightly annoying. Its so large and so many people, they need to have multiple lines open. My real issue with this place is the parking. The parking lot is so large and the rows are so long. They never have enough trams taking you up to the ticket center. You end up having to wait forever in the morning and then again at night. You can walk but it can potentially be a really long walk depending on where you park. But you will see it if you drive to Magic Kingdom.

Bob stopped us and explained that his fare had not shown up and would we consider using his limo as he has to pay the airport each time he arrives. The fee for the limo was less than the cost of bus tickets so that was a no-brainer. On the bus we would have to stop at every hotel along the way. With a limo service, we got door to door in half the time. What a great way to start a vacation! We are so happy we bumped in to Bob at the airport. I don't think we would ever have considered using a limo. Next trip into Orlando, we called Bob ahead of time and arranged for a town car to pick us up. His son was driving on this trip and he was just a courteous as his dad. We had a comfortable trip, directly to our hotel and the cost was certainly reasonable for the service provided. On our next trip to town, we plan to call Legacy Limousine again.

If you have a trip planned then opt for it when you reach your 60 day reservation mark for dining. It is listed under "enchanting extra". It is offered a few times each morning and it does sell out fast. That being said I grabbed this tour the first day we were eligible and believe me this is truly the best tour in the Magic Kingdom. Allow a full 5 hours for this tour. You meet at Main Street cinema, preorder your prepaid lunch (part of your tour cost) at Pecos Bill and meet your tour guide. Our tour guide was a charming lady named Liza who gave us portable headsets to hear her better. She came around and adjusted them if you needed help. We started down Main St, looked up at the names on the storefront windows and learned the history about them. Walt's name is there too! You need to look above the ice cream store after you turn the corner and you will see it. They have plenty of pseudonyms there to disguise the fact that Walt Disney was the real sponsor. After that we headed to Adventureland where we got a behind the scenes ride of the Jungle cruise. It was great looking at it from a different perspective. We toured Frontierland and Liberty Square and then sat down 2 1/2 later at Pecos Bill for our lunch. We had a special room reserved for us and our floor was by our nametags. They even gave us a souvenir keepsake, A Disney Keypin to go with my name pin. Please note that we ate at around 10:30. If planning to eat breakfast that day I would suggest to go light since lunch was so early. We then got priority access to ride the haunted mansion and learn more about the famous stretch rooms. During our visit we went "backstage" to where only cast members are permitted both on the main floor and of course finally visited the utilitor system. We are committed to secrecy on this part of the tour but I will tell you that you will learn a lot and it is amazing with all the things we saw. We spent a good 45 minutes in the utilitor and walked around it. Liza answered any questions we had and made sure we stood in shady areas to combat the oppressive heat of the sun. When the tour was over we were surprised to learn this was her first tour by other tour guides and was awarded her D pin which she could now display. Needless to say we were all very happy for her. This tour is for persons over 16 who want to know more about the Magic Kingdom. No two tours are like. This tour differed in many ways from the tour I took years ago and it was so fascinating and informative. Highly recommend this tour for any who wish to spend their day learning about the Magic Kingdom.

The cabs were immaculately clean and very comfortable. The drivers were courteous and got us to our destinations promptly. Having read Yelp reviews of other cab companies (poor-to-average), I was reasonably edgy at this one too. I asked them over email for a quote, and they replied within a day. 85$, which was what I'd expected (about 2$ a mile). Basically how it works is, you provide your credit card details over-the-phone or online, and they place that on file (in case of a no-show, I assume). When you get picked up and dropped off at your destination, they swipe your card and you get charged. The driver (Ricardo) showed up on time, was professional in dress and manner and the cab (rather, town-car - it was a glossy black sedan with huge amounts of leg-room and comfortable leather seats) was amazing. I was relieved to see that he used a GPS all the way, and stuck to the speed limit. He said he's been doing this for 9 years, although not with the same company. All said, I arrived on time, was not taken for a ride, and got my money's worth. I'd ride by this service any day!

Life can be fleeting and you never know what to expect, so let's be off to a theme park! Since a kid I've been theme park obsessed, and I was excited to try the other coast's Universal Park. I'll never look at Hollywood the same as Universal Orlando is hands down the superior park! I definitely think if you have the means to do Orlando versus Hollywood, I'd choose this park! Less congested with people, more rides, better dining, and there are water taxis! My favorite mode of transportation. Definitely worth a visit at least once in your life if you enjoy theme parks.

You need a 2-park ticket to be able to ride the Hogwarts Express, this is the station in the London area (King's Cross Station) that's pseudo-faithfully represented - a cool one-way mirror effect allows you to see people "walk" into the wall. The owl there is in rough shape... doesn't really look real at all, but the train coming into the station is awesome, lots of good photos there. Air conditioned waiting area, at least, was good, though thew ait here was significantly longer than at the Hogsmeade side. Not sure if they were just better at filling folks and moving them from IoA to USF, or just fewer people headed to USF.

It was beautifully decorated. The only complaint was there was not enough places to store things. I feel that the Disney cruise ship room has more space to store personal belongings than the GF Studio. Being in a Lake view room, I could see the Epcot fireworks, and the electric water parade. I could sit at the balcony and just enjoy everything if I have the time. There is a free laundry room on the 4th floor. I was even offered free laundry detergent! It is about a 5 minute walk from the villa building to the bus stop or monorail station. I hope to be able to stay here again!

There was no Victoria and Alberts on our honeymoon but the property was so close to the Polynesian as well as arriving by monorail to the Magic Kingdom. The Grand Floridian, I've always stated is my personal favorite hotel which prompted us to initially purchase DVC. We've made so many family memories over the years in Disney, my son proposed marriage at The Boardwalk Hotel. 2022, I planned a nice anniversary for my wife, so I booked a stay at The Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Villas. There are no more front desk check ins, everything is now done on the Disney app. I checked into the hotel, opened my room with my phone and made lunch reservations by the time I walked out of the hotel lobby. Once we unpacked our personal items, it was time to explore. I want to point out, we stayed in The Riviera DVC resort in March. The skyline access into EPCOT was amazing. The lobby??? Yeah.. It's a little weak (Still in my top 3 Disney hotels) The GFV lobby is unmatched in terms of hotel lobbies. It is simply magnificent and you're greeted by a live piano playing during the day! At Christmastime, they have the famous Gingerbread House on display along with a freshly cut Christmas tree in the lobby. Sounds amazing right? Staying at the Villas, you'll see none of it. The Villas are a separate wing, when you walk into the DVC lobby, they're building a Penguin fountain for your visual pleasure. It's not the same but DVC is showing you some love with their pretty lobby. They are also building another section that is closer to the pool. The new concept are studios with Murphy beds, they created a larger studio for more people. During our stay, I used all of the Grand Floridian amenities. I booked a couples massage, afterwards we had lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe, that night walked to the Polynesian to sip cocktails at Trader Sams while watching the fireworks and in the morning I walked over to Kona Island for a coffee press pot. It's a Grand Floridian way of life son! Are you feelin' me Yelper? Here are my top three DVC Disney hotels, I also have a Vero Beach contract, this is my Disney Property list: The Boardwalk (our First DVC Hotel) The Villas At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort The Riviera Animal Kingdom/Wilderness Lodge 4th Don't bother me with Saratoga or OKW! Bay Lake, Copper Creek are still on my list as I have never been. A 50 point Grand Floridian DVC add on is sounding really nice. I gotta work on my wife :D
