My daughter used this awful, uncaring company to bus herself and her two MINOR children from Miami to Orlando. On her return trip, they informed her the time had changed and that all three of their previously adjoining seats would be separated, each several rows away! These are MINOR CHILDREN! We called and she was given no options. So if you have kids and are planning a trip, would you really want to even consider this company? It's not fancy or anything. I just minded my business and waited for my ride. I went in the morning, and it smelled like syrup and piss. Floors were sticky and there were only three employees when I went. I bought my ticket online and stuff, so I didn't really need to have an interaction with anybody. This place definitely needs some rebuilding to do and they need to fix up the surrounding area. For the most part just go in and get on the bus. The Orlando Bus Station has become an outright hazard. Homeless individuals are sleeping throughout the facility, and drug addicts are openly using drugs in the bathrooms and directly outside the doors -- all in full view of passengers. The so-called "security" provided by All Nation Security is unarmed, does nothing to stop illegal activity, and is completely ineffective. They are rude to paying customers and unable to answer basic questions, in part because they do not speak English. This is unacceptable for any public transportation hub. Passengers should not have to navigate drug use, aggressive loitering, and incompetent security simply to board a bus. If the company refuses or is unable to provide a safe environment, it is failing in its most basic duty to its customers. A broken window has been boarded up with plywood for what feels like forever -- a visible symbol of the station's neglect. The situation has spiraled into an unsafe, unwelcoming mess, and immediate action is required. I feel sorry for the staff who have to work in these conditions, but the environment created here is beyond unacceptable. read more

My body is weary, legs feel like linguine and my butt feels numb and a bit like jello... Aside from the aches and soreness from the bad shocks on the wheelbase, the shaking and vibration from this pile of junk makes me feel like I'm nauseous ... The seats are terribly uncomfortable and feel like I'm sitting on concrete bricks layered with an itchy fabric that smells like funky old dirty underwear with a hint of dust bunnies.... The design of the seats, resembles that of people who are called little people, but I call midgets... Come on people, I'm 6 feet tall, and I have broad shoulders and a big chest, I need some space and shouldn't be squeezed in here, like a can of sardines... Packed tightly together with little room to breathe and not enough room for olive oil... One of the drivers must have been hired from Wish.com because he didn't speak a word of English and his driving skills were as if he got his license from out of a Cracker Jack box.... And finally, the restroom, or should I say, the old outhouse on wheels, with its unpleasant aroma of feces, mold, and cheap disinfectant spray... I cannot tell you how disappointed I am about this trip, because I left on a very beautiful Friday afternoon from Orlando, Florida expecting to arrive at my destination in York, PA on Saturday by 8 PM... But a turn of events transpired that caused a catastrophic change in our trip... Yes, not once but twice, there were hoses that connected to the engine that busted, twice that day. Leaving us stranded at the local 7 Eleven gas station in Daytona Beach and the good old Love's truck stop out in Jacksonville, where we painstakingly endured the horrible experience of being in a hot bus with no air conditioning for 13 hours... And being 13 hours behind schedule, I arrived in Washington D.C. the same time I should have arrived at my final destination... And to top it off, Flix Bus only offered me $20 on credit for food... Well road trip to the city life was much needed. So off I go into the wild blue yonders lol !! Caught the bus at a Mobil gas station which left little to be desired. There was a small shack ( booth) that opened up about 15 minutes before the bus left . The bus arrived on time and left about 8 mins past the time . The stops along the way were interesting to say the least . Just more gas stations areas with no place to sit at all . As far as greyhound is concerned I'm pleased with my trip . Well Greyhound has my 74 year old mother and sister stranded in Atlanta, GA dor they changed her ticket from arriving to Tallahasse, FL to Birmingham, AL stating that she changed it. Customer service person was not listening to her requesting a new ticket that she was told to ask for in Atlanta by calling Customer Service. I have spent the last two hours with my sister having to purchase two tickets that leaves them stranded until 10am. The agent at the desk and the one on the phone only berated my mother for she kept trying to tell them she lives in Tallahassee, FL. The level of disrespect is unreal. Greyhound need to close up shop for this is the second time this happen in less than year. In November they left her and two kids along with additional 35 people stranded in Lake City, FL at a closed Station when she was coming to Orlando. read more

My trip with my 3 year old from New Mexico to Florida was Terrible. I had to get off the bus in fort worth because the driver said me and my sick son had to sit separately even though she was the only one to have a problem with it. There was many open seats, and the man who had the seat said he didn't mind, but she was very rude and didn't care what anybody had to say about it. So, at that point me and my son were both crying and had to get off the bus at 2am, in the cold. In the middle of all this we lost a bag, had to call the ambulance just so we could stay at the hospital for the night so he wouldn't be in the cold. Definitely won't use greyhound again. Now I've been told they can't find my bag and when I've wrote back to greyhound about my experience they don't respond any more. Had I have not had that terrible service in Fort Worth I never would have lost my bag period. That's not my fault that their driver had no people skills or customer service cares ! So we came here to pick up a visiting school friend of my mothers and first impression is that it's a well light and very clean area but there are some sketchy looking folks hanging about in the waiting area! There was a guard walking around asking folks that were sleeping across several seats to sit up as sleeping was against the rules. The waiting area also had a restaurant and vending machine. There was a TV in one corner, switched to CNN. The staff were a bit unhelpful if you were an older woman and/or male, but for young women, they couldn't do enough! The difference in attitude when my mum went to ask about the bus compared to me was night & day!! I understand it's a bus station and I'm not expecting amazing, 5-star service but with a little customer service and routine cleaning, this place wouldn't be the worst experience in the world. Had a 5:30am departure time and immediately the stench of God knows what takes over as you enter. The place is crowded and many of the passengers are selfishly taking up multiple chair spaces--while sleeping or placing their bags on the seat, so many of us had to stand up for hours waiting for the bus. The person behind the front desk wasn't attentive but I will give her some credit because it's so early. However, the nasty bathrooms is where I have to draw the line. It just struck me as odd that during the earliest departure time, the bathrooms would not be cleaned. Avoid the bathroom at all cost. Probably cleaner on the bus. I rarely rate a 1 but I had to. And I went there waiting for this bus and 15 other ppl were there!! So they do this to everyone!!! If I could give zero stars then I would. I was frantically trying to figure out a way to get home from Orlando since our flight was canceled due to the hurricane. There were no flights for several days and all rental cars were sold out. I looked into greyhound and filled out my information. I saw the price of 420 for two ppl, which I thought was ridiculous. I was outside in the rain at Universal during this and had difficult seeing my screen. I accidentally clicked purchase. I immediately called customer service who gave me no sympathy and told me no refund. So I've just lose $420 for nothing. Nobody can help me and says it is nonrefundable. I was happy to transfer here to get off the bus to use the bathroom since our bus bathroom had a terrible, unrelenting smell for the whole 3 hour leg of the journey that filled up the whole bus, only to find the exact same bathrooms that were flooded and disgusting at 4 AM this morning when I was here last were still flooded, and only one of the 5 stalls were even remotely clean/useable. I don't know where to start. I usually don't observe the reviews of others but today I am a new man. This place is disgusting. Littered with the forgotten people of the country. My bus was delayed for an hour and I jumped to the gas station nearby just to get some homeless felon's sob story. I get back to find out my bus is delayed another 2.5 hours. The woman at the desk was extremely rude. The security guards were kind and patient, but overall it was an awful operation. For my travelers, I highly recommend flying over this. Turns out the station they put on their app was incorrect! I called 5 times and was on hold trying to reach a supervisor for an added total of 2 hours which I never got to speak to, since I missed my bus due to their mistake!!! my bus left 25 minutes early without letting anyone know. They left 6 separate parties behind. I called and they moved my ticket to the next bus coming 8 hours later. That bus never arrived. I spoke with 4 different "customer service" reps and no one could even locate the bus or give me a direct answer if it was even coming or not. I waited 4 hours hoping it would arrive and ended up using a different bus company so I wouldn't be stranded. this company is clearly outsourced so they don't really care about helping you and keep telling you to call a different terminal for an answer. I purchased a ticket online and not more that a few seconds after submitting for the payment I noticed that your system refilled my name instead of my sisters name in the passengers section. I called the customer service department not more that a minute later and advised them of what happened. The rep said that he is waiting for a supervisor and had me on hold for over 15 min got back on the line and put me back on hold. I really need someone to listen to the call..... and refund my money. I was on hold for over 30 min after the last rep told me that the manager was available and no manager got on the line. I called back and spoke with June ID# 3608954 and I requested to speak with a manger but was hung up on. So I called back Marie # 3508656 who continuously kept repeating the amount of the 20 dollar change fee and the 3 dollar processing fee. The rep said that even though i put my sisters name in the passenger section when I put my card info in they system changed it to my name. I feel like this a way to get an extra 20 dollars from consumers knowing that the ticket is not only non refundable but also people will feel that all they can do is pay the extra money to change the name and this is not right. I will find a way to check and see is this is a fraudulent practice to get extra money from consumers. Spoke with a supervisor by the name of Cynthia ID#3508057 and was told that no manager was available and that I would have to call back.
