If you have your Magic Band ready when you get off the plane, it's incredibly easy, and you just walk up and scan your Magic Band and they tell you what line to stand in. Line 10 is AKL for both villages and Coronado. A personal gripe of mine; I don't think Deluxe resorts should have to share busses. Before this trip, we'd always stayed at Polynesian and Grand Floridian. They are both Deluxe resorts, and they share with Contemporary, and all of those resorts are right next to each other, so it didn't really bother me. But this time we were at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we stopped at Art of Animation and Pop Century before getting to AKL. I just think the Deluxe resorts are so much more expensive that they could get their own busses. In any case, I landed at the airport at 3:45, was on a bus by 4:15, and on resort at 5:07. I don't think it's worth the cost of an Uber to get there like a half hour faster, but that's up to you. One thing that's great about Disney is that you don't need to worry about transportation at all once you get there, and I really appreciate that. And if you check bags, you don't even need to get those, and they'll deliver them right to your room. I had a very early flight home though, and they picked me up excessively early. I got picked up at 5:30am for an 8:30am flight. I didn't have luggage, but if I did I could have checked it at the resort, so no one needs to be at the airport that early. I sat around for a good 2 hours before my flight. That might have been worth taking an Uber just so I could sleep another hour. It's still a great service though, and I plan to use it again next time. There's really no reason to spend extra on transportation when this is included with your stay.

Then just use the free Disney transportation to get to parks and shopping. Never had a bad experience! Clean and comfortable buses, with professional courteous drivers. Charging ports on the bus along with TV's showcasing Disney info and trivia. They have this down to a science. Be sure to tag your bags correctly, and they will get them for you, and they magically show up at your hotel. The buses run on specific schedules and based on the time of your flight be prepared to leave a bit earlier to the airport. I read this service will end in 2022. Sad, as it's a terrific perk.

The service started some years back, then stopped during COVID and was re-launched in June 2022. I have utilized Minnie Vans multiple times throughout my visits and have always had a positive experience. Disney partners with Lyft to execute the Minnie Vans; if you're on property, Minnie Vans will be a vehicle option to choose once you open the app and input your destination. When it launched there was one set price no matter where you were going, though recently I noticed that the price varies based on your destination. Minnie Van has a number of features that sets it apart from a typical Lyft. First and foremost, the drivers are Disney Cast Members, not Lyft employees, so the customer service is at a different level. They are also very sociable and will engage you in conversation during your ride. The cars are consistently clean, can seat up to seven, and offer extra features like a car seat and charging plugs for a variety of phone types. I've never had to wait too long for a car - maybe 10 to 12 minutes at the most during the busy periods. The only drawback (if you can call it one) is the price. Minnie Vans are a premium service and charge a premium price. In a way it's a little ridiculous - the prices are 3 to 4 times more than a typical Lyft to the same destination, and for that reason I would only utilize it if I have money to spend and it would be a big inconvenience for me to get to my destination otherwise (like going from resort to resort). The ride is a great experience, it's just really expensive. Overall, Minnie Vans is a great service - there are many features that elevate it above a typical rideshare, and it has that Disney touch that adds to the experience. The price will keep me from using it regularly while on property, but I'm glad that the option is there.

We had needed a ride for 7 people, 5 large suitcases and a portable wheelchair initially from the airport to the hotel near the Disney area and back again. Since 7 is one too many for your typical Uber or Lyft, I widened my search for transportation to and from the theme parks for our 10-day stay. For a well-dressed chauffer, always on time if not ahead of it, bringing you around in a comfortable luxury SUV, Marty's rates were reasonable. No regrets in taking a chance and trying him out. Will gladly do so again on our next Orlando trip. My only regret though was not having a group photo with him as we were too excited to hit the parks at opening each morning and too tired when we got home after closing them each day. Marty was that patient and flexible with our long and crazy hours. Not to mention our pushing through despite the hurricane bearing down on us. I have been trying to get this resolved for almost 20 days, but customer support has been completely unhelpful. No one has taken responsibility or provided a real solution. This was clearly an error on Uber's system, but I am the one paying the price. It is unacceptable to keep a customer's money because of your own mistake. I expected much better service and accountability from a company like Uber.

The cars are clean the attendance at each of the stops are very professional and some of the most well mannered and best greeting attendance. I've seen anywhere in the park. I love that they are all always clean and I have never seen a dirty gondola while I'm here riding them. The gondolas do not have air-condition however due to the movement they always have air circulating through it because if the vented windows at the top. They do mix groups when they are on busier nights and days but sometimes it'll be just your party.
