    Best ride ever!

We rented a pontoon boat for an hour (ended up around ~$118 total) and we had a grand time! We brought our pup and it was so much fun going around the serene and beautiful lake. Definitely a good family friendly and still naturey thing that isn't snow related!

First time here. We rented a small pontoon boat. Service was friendly, accommodating and efficient! Staff made sure we were completely prepared for our rental period. The boat was in excellent condition and clean. The Bluetooth music worked really well and the speaker got nice and loud while underway. No problems with the engine or the boat.

This gets a 5 star all the way around. We rented a pontoon boat for our family, which included my almost 99-year-old mom. She was so looking forward to go out on the lake since we've had a cabin up here since 1964. But it's been quite a while since she's been up. The facilities are absolutely perfect. The docs are nice and it's a great location. The pontoon boats are all a year old or newer. They're great condition. And the price includes guess you don't need to fill them up when you come back in. Seeing that, my mother is quite elderly, they picked her up in the parking lot with their golf cart and drove her right down to the docks. Then they had a wheelchair that they rolled her down right to the pontoon boat. She just had to stand up and walk a few steps onto the boat. What amazing service. The young man who helped my mom with the wheelchair and the golf cart was so kind and so sweet. He was a junior in high school coming up. His mom and dad raised him well. His name was Mateo. Kyle helped us with the reservations and met us when we arrived. Everything went great and my mom even drove the boat for a short while lol.

    My son's 3rd pontoon cruise!

The bikes they brought out were the perfect size for each person in our group and they provided helmets. It was about $16/hour for the bike rental. Upon arrival we were helped immediately. From arrival, to waiver signature, and getting on bikes took about 10 minutes. You will need an ID as they hold it until you return with payment. The location is on the north shore and it is easy to find. There was plenty of parking and it's right next to an RV Park with a little liquor store in case you forgot anything. If you didn't bring a drink, pick one up as I did not see any water fountains or bottle fillers on the bike path. The paved bike path is right across the road and it is easy enough. There are some hills, not bad, but not completely flat. You can always walk the bike up if needed. You can ride all the way down the north shore which is mostly undeveloped and absolutely beautiful. We packed a backpack with sandwiches and stopped along the way at picnic tables to eat lunch. Keep in mind for you, your kids, and pets, that it's a little harder to exercise/breathe at high altitudes. There are a few benches to stop and rest as well as a few paths down to the lake. The trail is shared with other bikers, walkers, runners, and a few folks walking dogs. Everyone we encountered was respectful. I knocked one star down because I thought $100+ for one adult and two kid bike rentals for less than 2 hours was a little steep. However, we loved our time on the bike path. The exercise was great and the north shore is beautiful. The trees and lake took our breath away. We will return soon.

Also it's a little more secluded so we didn't feel like we were going to run into anyone while still enjoying the beauty of the lake.

Located on the western side of Big Bear Lake, this park is a popular destination for both locals and visitors, particularly those looking to enjoy a peaceful and leisurely walk with their pets, a picnic, or just some quiet time by the water. There is a free parking lot adjacent to the park, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. If the lot is full, there is additional street parking available nearby. The park is open year-round, but the best times to visit are during the spring, summer, and fall when the weather is mild, and the lake is at its most beautiful.

Many people taking pictures or selfies, some people fishing off the small pier, while others were walking their dogs. It was very clean, there is restrooms available (yes there was a line) and plenty of parking, although you may need to wait for a spot. It is a cool park to check out, I've seen pictures of people kayaking, however there are signs that say to stay on the path and not cross over the railing. A nice picnic place perhaps or family photos with the bear. The boulders in the area/park make it a cool photographic area.
