I looked far and wide in 2016 for an MBZ Sprinter motorhome. Nothing in my area was affordable, so I looked across the country and found a nice coach at Pleasureland RV. Through the ad, other internet research, and dealing with salesguy John Storkamp, I was able to put together a long-distance deal on a creampuff of a coach with low mileage (from 2000 miles away). John went above the call of duty to video phone me and walk me through the coach step by step, point out any problems, send me photos of the problems, and then had all of the problems fixed once I put down a refundable deposit. He even had the coach A/C unit replaced and replaced one of the passenger side graphic swirl stickers, as well as having the generator serviced. Sounds crazy but my lovely bride & I flew a redeye to MN after making a solid (but refundable) deal from 2000 miles away. Saved about $13000 from inflated SoCal prices. John had the coach ready to rock upon our arrival. The deal was great, with no surprises. We then took a 4000 mile roadtrip home across 'MERICA around Independence Day, via Jellystone Nat'l Park, The Tetons, Jackson Hole, Cheyenne, Santa Fe, etc, with no problems. Several months have passed now with only routine issues. Just wanted to tip the hat to John & Pleasureland RV for the excellent transaction. read more

We desperately needed a fridge, I realized I ordered the wrong one, of course, I called as soon as they opened to try and cancel and reorder the right one, they said I had to wait for it to ship and refuse and pay $350.00 to ship it back! That is so crazy to me, I was willing to try and get the correct product, they didn't care, I guess we aren't already getting screwed enough with everything so high already and items not lasting over 2 to 3 years, and not to mention, I was willing to order the correct one. The entire process was ok but we are financially very stable with 800+ credit scores. We used their financing solely for the $5000 off with the intention of a quick payoff. We purchased on 12/19/25. As of 5/7/26 we still do not have the title!! They have blamed the state of MN, the fact that it's an out of state title, the former owners, the former owners bank, the state of NY the DMV and basically anyone but themselves. They do not apologize they lie amd deflect. The only reason they are now doing something is because MT Bank is willing to do more to help me get the lein release. Pleasureland does not care if you get your title. I firmly believe if they drag their feet paying the lien and transferring the title, in our situation taxes amd title fees was almost $5000! I bought an RV at Pleasureland RV in Sioux Falls. The paperwork is done here at ST Could. I got a 45 day temporary TR license tag via the Pleasureland RV in Sioux Falls, SD. The financial office is in St Could. I did not get my paperwork in time, within the 45 days of the temporary permit so have an RV that I can not take on the roads. And this is Labor Day weekend. If you buy an RV from Pleasureland, Bug them EVER WEEK for the paperwork or the same may happen to you. Their finance office is not reliable. read more

We bought a 2021 crossroads zinger in 2021.it is now 2023.we have had the outdoor kitchen countertop replaced .as it was warping .they did a very good job of reinforcement so that thus problem wouldnt happen again. However this travel trailer seems to be as if it was built in china.everything is falling off of it.from the outside skirt screws coming off.to i terior trim pieces falling off the walls and ceiling.bent window trim and channeling.plumbing leaks .this trailer is a 30 thousand dollar p.o.s.i would not advise anyone buy one of these.not sure what other manufacturers have to offer. read more

Horribly rude staff..6 employees saw me struggling to walk, no one took the steps to open the door...I was one of 2 customers in the entire place... When I asked for direction to parts department I got a vague wave to a doorway..to a room where 4 employees were doing nothing...one was helping the other customer present.. I had to use support of display shelves to cross to service counter(I had chosen to use only cane...did not unload my rollator walker to purchase a lightbulb) I actually had to ask for help..was again waved to aisle...asked clerk if he could get the bulb for me.. I purchased an extended warranty for my trailer and was told that if I did not use it I would get it back, ya right. I am close to the end of my payments and called to get the refund going, but oh no, it seems the extended warranty I purchased ended a year ago and now I can no longer claim it. I called them last year and was told I would have to wait til I was closer the end of my payments. All that did was put me past the supposed grace period to claim. Nice scam! read more

We purchase a Renegade RV from them. Most of the communication was over the phone or emails because we lived in a different state. They had the particular Model we were looking for. Flew to Minnesota after we agreed upon a price. When we got there we took it for a ride with Jesse; that went fine. It was what we were looking for. Made arrangements to come back and pick it up in 3 weeks as we were driving it back home to Florida. Pick Up time: 1. The Driving cab rugs were to be cleaned (spotted on drivers side) before we picked it up. (We gave them about 3 weeks, NOT DONE!). 2. We were supposed to have a walk through of the RV with Chad (I think he knew less than we did about this RV). a. Chad swore up down that the black tank had been rinsed and was clean; the reading on the tank of 33% was wrong. We had feces all over our driveway. (WRONG!) b. New nothing about the leveling jacks. c. During the walk through we noticed the tires had been changed. The GOOD thing, we had new tires. The BAD thing, not the same tires. We questioned them and they drove us to where the tires were put on. Salesman told us they were a replacement for the tires that were on the RV. We had no choice they had been changed. (Got home to find out the front tires were not correct 14 ply verses 16 ply. Which means different load weight). d. Also upon arriving home; we hadn't used the RV yet, the transfer switch was not working at all. (GOOD thing for a purchased warranty) Good thing Pleasureland paid the $500 deductible. BAD thing, couldn't use it all summer because we waited for parts and for it to be fixed). Yes, We are going to enjoy this RV for sure once everything is fixed but I do not believe any consumer should spend the money that was spent and have HORRIBLE dealings! And yes it was sold As Is but spending over $250k there should be better customer appreciation than this business gives. I'd find another dealership. read more

We bought a new KZ Expandable camper in late March 2017. Purchase experience was OK, but full of promises that you shouldn't expect to be able to collect on. We were convinced to buy a 5-year extended warranty on the camper which was never used. This year we traded the camper in on a new camper from a different dealer and applied for a refund on the extended warranty (again, NEVER used). Turns out it is not an 'extension' on your warranty, it is 'in addition to' your warranty and starts the day you buy the camper. So we were told we only get 80% back, minus fees for them having to cut a check. This is an impossibly long process, which they drag out in order to earn as much interest on your money as they can before returning it to you. Applied for refund on March 28, 2018 and am still waiting (May 3 now) for a check that was supposedly cut on April 25 and mailed out. I only live 60 miles from the dealership. The pigeon must have gotten lost. So, here's my advice: If you want a camper, they have a selection (so do all the other dealerships). Just don't expect any service after you buy. AND, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT GET CONNED INTO AN 'EXTENDED' WARRANTY. You've been warned... read more

Sat in the waiting area for 3 hours for something that we didn't want. People were coming in and out while we were there. We told them that we didn't want to take the loan out through them, but they spent over and hour trying to match what we wanted- then ended up not doing so. Very disappointed.. Scheduled a warranty service appointment...earliest appt was out 3 weeks..OK..we waited and brought in the rig on the date agreed . We also talked with the wash guy and scheduled a wash during the rigs 10 day stay.. When we picked up the rig..no wash..road dirty and we were told by service guy that we were a low priority. 100 rigs were sold and we were at the bottom of the list. No call.. No apology..just tough luck for having a one year old rig and need a wash.. Poor scheduling on their part..plus 100 sold in 10 days / at one location/ seriously? Recession is not that over... Also they skipped the big problem ... Didn't look at the black water drainage issue...will not be going back..message we received...you are not important and be happy we fixed what we did! read more

However, my family purchased a used RV from Pleasureland, and I brought it home yesterday. The whole process went smoothly, the deal was fair, the walk through was through, the pressure to buy anything was non-existent. We were looking at a used travel trailer hybrid from their bargain lot. The salesman was super friendly, but not really willing to negotiate much on the price of the camper. We looked at campers from other places but eventually decided to buy this one. We were told that they would have it professionally cleaned, serviced and ready to go. When we picked it up everything seemed okay, so we completed the purchase and took it home. It wasn't until a few days later, when we had a chance to open it up and look things over that we realized: 1. The grey/black tanks were over half full and had never been emptied! 2. The cleaning job had been perfunctory. The microwave had dried food inside and the shower had hair in the drain. The cupboards had never been cleaned and there were things left in the nooks and cupboards from the previous owners! 3. The fresh water system had a horrible smell. It had never been flushed out and sanitized. 4. When they had stowed the stabilizers they must have used an impact wrench because it took two grown men and a prybar to break them all loose! 5. The trailer had sustained impact damage that had been concealed and not disclosed to us. When they did the walk around and showed us everything, they showed the good beds, but folded up the damaged bed before we could see the damage on it! I realize now that the reason the salesman was probably being so friendly to steer us away from the probems they were concealing! Weeks later with the repairs and cleaning done, we now have a camper we are happy with - no thanks to Pleasureland! I'd give them zero stars if it was an option! I won't be going back to ANY Pleasureland lot, bargain units, used or even new! read more

From the looks of things here I cannot give this business a damaging review because they have so many. Hands down they stink... bad. Love to sell but hate to service. After 3 years of documented problems with our Scwintek crap slide outs I have finally gotten them fixed. Not a Pleasureland though. They couldn't find the problem and even told me they don't like doing warranty work because Grand Design doesn't pay them well enough. They couldn't find the problem even though parts of our Schwintek slide literally fell out the bottom and I had to use a sawzall and a hammer and a pry bar (authorized to do what was needed by warranty) to get the slide to move back in. Well, I moved far away and the local Grand Design dealership here took it personally and GOT IT DONE and UNDER WARRANTY. Grand Design is good. I want to love them - in fact, I bought a new one after knowing that mine was going to be stood behind and fixed by a reputable dealership. Now I have two GD 5ers. This place gave me the worst experience i have ever had with a so called BIG reputable business! ST CLOUD Pleasureland RV ---NEVER go to this branch if you are smart! It started with the sales guy on the internet----he quoted me a price but never let anyone else know about our conversation about the 2019 unit----turns out it is actually a 2018 left over unit---didn't find that out til talking with a different sales guy because the sales guy i was dealing with had left early for that day---but failed to document anything! so we are looking at the wrong unit and getting a different price for what we thought was the one we talked to the internet guy about! After figuring out this first debacle we ask to see the actual unit----oh that's back on our dirt lot? WHY? big snow storm not plowed cant see it til snow melts!!!!! WTH? Finally get back to see it---called ahead told them we are on our way please have it moved out and all the slides out so we can inspect it----nope---not out cant find anyone to move it so the sales guy gets a truck to move it----nope----to big and hitch is too high for truck---wait 15 more minutes in the cold ----he gets a tractor to move it out---takes about 15 more minutes for the slides to move all the way out because of using trailer hook ups on tractor to power up unit----notice many issues that they did fix by the time they delivered to us----but the big nick in the island was just colored in with a brown marker instead of replacing trim piece! delivery---was told it would be 250.00 for delivery and set up leveling and plumbing hook up----i asked them if they were going to go out and look at the site to determine what would be involved for delivery as it is not a level easy set up----on a hill in a park with many trees and other units around and on three sides of trailer! They did not go out there ---they asked me what the site looked like and i told them to the best of my ability to explain to them what it was like and they would need a skid loader to get the old one out and the new one in----they called the resort and asked them about it and were told the same thing---still nobody went out to look at site!!!!!!!! They called me back a few days later to tell me that delivery would be 500.00 bucks and they will not hook up the plumbing but they had a guy that could at an extra charge---no thank you! The delivery Manager was one of two that showed up to place the unit---he would not smile or talk to us---unless he needed to use my tools as they showed up with nothing----i had to supply everything they needed----also they were trying to get the old one out for 20 minutes as it was falling back into the deep holes the wheels had created over the years until i told them to put some rocks in the hole so it would NOT drop back in---poof---out it came! They rutted up all the grass and area around the unit and just left it like that---also no attempt to fix or even put the chunks of grass back into place! Two issues were found when they delivered---missing or broken screen on emergency escape window and a warped panel on a kitchen cabinet---two months later i called and asked about it ---nobody knows anything but "oh yes i see it here on the notes of the delivery----we will have to check on those!!!!!" To top it all off we get a call saying that our trade in was not in the condition they expected so they wanted 2 grand more in cash-----they asked one question about the unit was there water damage? no it was fixed years ago----that's it----they quoted a price sight unseen then say it wasn't what they expected----do your job go look at it---- what do i know what your looking for or what not!!!!! Final topper---called today about a leaky window---they said that Vinny the sales manager said that they would not cover any warranty issues as they had issues with the condition of our trade in!!!!!! Called the manufacturer Keystone to file a complaint on St Cloud Pleasureland---they said we are not the first customers to call and file a complaint against St Cloud sales team ever or even this year as a matter of fact! This place needs to re-evaluate their management and get some people in there that actually care about their clients and want to provide a good experience because this was truly the WORST one i have ever had the misfortune of experiencing! read more

Worst customer service. This is a very condensed version of the terrible "service" this joint offers. Oh, everything was great during the purchase of course. Since the purchase I've had five interactions with them. I called a month after buying it with some basic questions about my rig nobody could tell me anything and the salesman didn't seem very interested in helping. He referred me to service. They were no help. I tried to call the owner. Yeah, right. I emailed the owner but never heard back from him. Now a year and a half later I had a question about winterizing and I didn't want to wait the standard 3 to 4 weeks with Pleasure Land so instead of St Cloud, I called the Ramsey location. As usual no answer in the service department and I had to leave a voicemail. She never got back to me. I've never seen such horrible lack of concern once the sale is made. read more

I purchased an RV from Pleasureland RV in Ramsey, Minnesota in January of 2019 and had it delivered to their newly acquired dealership in Sioux Falls, SD for prep and pickup as that location was closer for me. When I picked it up in April, 2019, I had a fifth wheel hitch installed in my truck by Pleasureland RV in Sioux Falls, SD at the same time. While cleaning out firewood from the bed of the pickup after an outing in August of 2020, I noticed that several of the bolts securing the hitch to the pickup were either loose or missing. I contacted Pleasureland RV in Sioux Falls, SD and explained to them what I had discovered. They said they had no record of installing a fifth wheel hitch for me. I provided them with a copy of my invoice as proof. I was instructed to take the truck to my local hitch sales and service for inspection and repair and that they would reimburse me for 1 hour of labor. I took it to a shop that sells and installs the same brand and model of hitch that I purchased and had installed by Pleasureland RV in Sioux Falls, SD. They inspected it and found missing nuts, bolts, washers, spacers and brackets resulting in a pinched wiring harness. They explained to me that the installation had not been completed per the manufactures installation instructions and the only way to make it safe and secure was to remove it and reinstall it correctly. When completed the costs included 4 hours of labor and parts and material. I submitted the invoice to Pleasureland RV of Sioux Falls, SD along with pictures and narratives of the improper installation from the local shop that reinstalled the hitch. I requested full reimbursement from Pleasureland RV of Sioux Falls, SD. At first they said they could only reimburse me in the amount I paid in labor for the original installation. I expressed to them that had the faulty installation gone unnoticed, a serious if not fatal accident could have occurred. I requested that they reimburse me in full for my costs to have the hitch installed properly per the manufacturers installation instructions. Then the BS started; first they claimed that the description of the truck that I had the hitched repaired did not match the description of the truck they installed it on (remember, they had no invoice or recollection of installing a hitch for me), then they claimed that I did not bring it to them for inspection and repair, then they stated that the photos I forwarded showing the discrepancies did not match their installation standards (duh, that is where this all started!). They claimed that they are a reputable company and wanted to meet me at a fair price. When I again requested full reimbursement, they responded that they contacted their corporate office and the consensus was that the faulty hitch could have resulted from my lack of maintenance and safety checks (recall that I had this installed for approximately 16 months and towed the trailer about 6 times!). Therefore, Pleasureland RV corporate (representing all Pleasureland RV locations) is not accepting responsibility for the repair bill. So, that is my experience with Pleasureland RV of Sioux Fall, SD as well as their corporate office. They spent more time trying to find a way out of reimbursing me for my costs to repair their faulty workmanship then accepting responsibility and proving that they are indeed a reputable company as they stated. I guess good recommendations and return customers are not important to them. read more

On Sunday March 8, 2020 I emailed Pleasureland RV in St. Cloud, MN inquiring if a new 2019 Hymer Aktiv that was advertised on their website was still for sale. On Monday March 9, at 9:34am Jesse Nordmann replied that it was still on the lot. I called him and we negotiated a price of $79,999.00 and we placed a $1000.00 deposit. On March 9 at 4:54PM I emailed Jesse Nordmann. The email stated "...just to verify, this RV is 20'9" long, has a king bed, volt start, screens, and 250 watts solar" On March 9 at 4:57, Jesse replied "the options are correct on this unit as is the length" My husband and I made arrangements to fly from Louisville, KY to St. Cloud, MN, so we could complete the purchase and drive this unit home. We made hotel reservations for 2 night in Minneapolis, rented a car to drive to St. Cloud, and a hotel reservation near Indianapolis for the trip back to Louisville, KY. We arrived in St. Cloud and met with Jesse Nordmann. He sent us out to the Hymer Aktiv. It was 19'6" long with a bed that was only 55", barely bigger than a full size. Jesse Nordmann had not verified what was advertised on their website and what he said he verified. This unit is not what we wanted. We never would have made the trip if he had actually looked at the unit and emailed us what it actually was. We left the dealership and made arrangements to fly home since we did not have anything to drive. The total cost $1131.00, 3 wasted days, and we were in the airport again when the nation was not supposed to fly unless necessary. I have since contacted JJ Robbie, business manager with Pleasureland. Robbie had Vinny Binsfield sales manager, and said they would look into it and call me today, Monday March 16. Don't ever buy a camper from Pleasureland, they do NOT stand behind their products. We bought a 5th wheel from them, and then the next day referred my family to them and they bought a brand new destination trailer. 3 days after owning our 5th wheel, the liner under the camper was BULGING with sewer water, the tank had a crack in it...we called their service department asap and it took them over a week to get back to them...my parents $60k trailer had NO caulking in the shower, the microwave did not work, within a week paint was peeling off of the patio door, and the front bay window did not have any sealant. We were assured that their "inspection team" went over our units head to toe and "Everything was in perfect working order" we have tried in vain for over a month for them to do something...they will.not return my phone calls, they are condescending when talking to us accusing us of operator error... when they did send someone out, they didn't have the proper equipment to fix anything. Save your money and shop elsewhere...Pleasureland RV is a joke. read more

Three stars because the staff was decent.... just avoid the Winnebago travel trailers! On my first drive away from the dealership, there was leakage behind the refrigerator that damaged woodwork....who knows because the refrigerator and everything is built in such a way that I can't pull it out myself to take a look. I am out in the country away from repair people! Isn't that what campers are for? I am now keeping the refrigerator off and using a cooler. Then my heater did not work.... I had to pay $270 to have a man drive out and replace the little sail switch. A brand new camper!! Again, a simple fix, but no way I could access the heater the way it is built in. The inexpensive switch was covered by warranty, but not the man's time.... The cheap plastic screens do not sit flush against the windows so I have to fill in the gaps with foam to prevent bugs from getting in. I could go on. I have invested in solar and have a beautiful piece of land and now have a brand new camper made with cheap materials and equipped with problems that I can't access to fix. I'd be better off in a tent. read more

bought a fifth wheel from pleasureland in fall of 2019. i got a decent deal and i really like dan roe the sales guy who helped us. in 2020 i had a serious problem happen in the brakes. it should have been covered by warranty by crossroads , but pleasureland did not back me up and crossroads denied claim. pleasureland repaired the trailer and did a horrendous job. i recommended three people to pleasureland (they all bought their) i would not recommend them now thats for sure. service dept. sucks read more

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I purchased a camper from them and they said they did a thorough inspection on it. I got it home and was putting new flooring in when I found water damage under the water heater. I started looking and the wood was rotted off the frame. Worst part is they said they would only give me $1000 for it on trade for a different one. It was priced at $6995 when I bought it the week before. They told me to sell it outright. St. Cloud Location: Even though they got us an appointment to have some trim fixed, door off hinges fixed, and a water heater leak fixed. It all went downhill after we were waiting for the repairs. They had to order new trim boards for the camper due to some water damage. We dropped it off July 8th, on July 13th I was called asking if I knew about the back-end damage to our camper, after saying I didn't know what he was talking about, they sent me some pictures. After going back and forth now for over two weeks to try to resolve this damage issue, they are saying "damage occurring to a camper while at their location is not their responsibility". When we questioned them about how it couldn't be their responsibility. This is the email I received. "Our service manager spoke with your husband today and he want the camper set out front so you can come and pick it up. Please let me know when you will be getting it and I will have it set out front with your name tagged on the hitch." So, if you are looking to buy a camper from a customer friendly establishment, DO NOT BUY FROM PLEASURELAND. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, and they don't take responsibility for their errors or mistakes. read more

Went to Pleasureland RV in Brainerd, MN on 03/18/16. We put a deposit down. We had one week to decide and they would hold our check but something with more priority came up and I had to cancel our future purchase. I checked to see if I could get the check back but found out it was cashed immediately. I spoke with the salesman that we dealt with and apologized. I asked if we could get the check back and he stated that it was cashed right away and it would take a few months before we could get our money back. That sounded kind of strange to me so I then spoke with a manager in St. Cloud and he stated that what the other salesman stated was in error and that the check would be mailed out by 04/11/16 and we would get by Friday 04/15/16. Bought a used rv and was told that everything worked on it. Got it home and the oven didnt work, the windshied wipers didnt work, the water heater leaked water, and to top it off, the salesman told me it would be filled up with gas when I came to pick it up, and when I get there it has less than a quarter tank. I thought the service was good and the rep i dealt with was very good. The only problem i have was i was there on a Saturday and and explained i need the bill of sale to bring to my loan officer to have everything written up, which i didn't see my loan officer til late Monday and the check was already trying to clear which cost me a $30 overdraw fee. I was just up at Pleasureland RV St. Cloud to have my camper looked at and fixed they said it was done and fixed they also said they had to replace the jack relay that was supposed to be bad witch was by passed and has been that way for a year or better so not sure how that was bad they left my heater on drained the battery so could not run the jacks Tk said he was the manager also told me that there trucks had hot wires so that why they where able to run the jacks witch I should TK that mine has the same thing and than stood there and basically called me an idiot and didn't know my own camper or truck I would and will never deal with Pleasureland RV at ST Cloud they lie and take money from you I even showed him that the relay was bypassed I will be call the BBB to file a complaint and will be contacting the owner to explain how the manger Tk was wrong rude and disrespectful basically telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about I will buy going to Hilmerson Rv from know on read more

Brainerd/Baxter location. On Saturday July 26th we went up to pleasureland RV in Brainerd Minnesota to purchase a camper They did not have what I wanted in stock so they showed me a similar model. It wasn't really what I wanted it was too big and I was worried our truck wouldn't pull it but my husband assured me that it would. It wasn't the color model that I wanted but the salesman told me thats all they had in stock so I agreed. We went ahead with financing which didn't take long at all but the salesman named blah wanted to have this sold by the 31st. Of course, end of month sales. My husband is an OTR truck driver and usually comes home Friday night but because the end of the month was on a Thursday night the salesman wanted me pick it up on Thursday. I felt uncomfortable towing this camper by myself but I was assured that it would be simple and on Thursday night they would put all the necessary equipment on our truck and give me a walk me a walk through. It didn't get that far. I did some research on Pleasureland RV and found out that they have been reported 10 times in last 3 years to the Better Business Bureau. I was shocked! even though 8 out of the 10 had been resolved this made me nervous. And so I called right away Monday morning to cancel my order for this camper. We had put a small deposit on this camper and I was told by the salesmen this cash deposit should be returned. "Come in and we can give you your money back." I was given such the run-around for the next two hours it was ridiculous. I called the st. Cloud office and told them the information about the cash deposit being returned to me in a check. I am glad I looked online for reviews and I'm thankful to Yelp for the other review and adding this one. I won't be back!!!! I am giving ONE star for the finance officer's fast return. read more
