We were visiting the area for a couple of days and went Monday night May 29th. The bar area was sticky. The bartender was so rude! We left without ordering and spent our money at a bar down the road called Strick's Place. Customer service plays a huge role when there are other businesses offering the same service!! read more

A real dive bar. Drinks only, no food, other than packaged chips and beef jerky. Pool table, multiple TVs, and a decent selection of libations. It's preserved in time, which I thought was sort of cool. Lots of wood, old beer signs, and nostalgia. The barkeep was super nice! read more

Is a dive bar. Occasionally, they'll have live bands. The bartenders are great. The people that go there are mostly locals. Friendly atmosphere. They don't serve food. However, they sell snacks. Several pool tables and dart boards. Smoking area with several tables and TV at the back of the bar. Overall, it's a safe great place to have a few. read more

The staff and/or people who work there are fine.. attentive, timely... On the other hand, not a great place to meet new people or go by yourself to have a drink,socialize,hangout. I was invited to this bar by a friend that I recently met. I didn't know anything about this establishment. And I read the comments and reviews about the bar. I admit I was skeptical about going. But I can honestly say that I didn't experience not one person with a chip on their shoulders and the Richard the bartender is and was on top of his game. New to Alabama and Fairhope. Honestly I dont like giving a rating this low. I was rolling through one weekend and saw a young man defend the modern military, get his ass kicked by some patrons outside, and when he came back to pay his bill they kicked him out. I was there from the weekend of the 19th of June and the fact that no one from the bar tried to help this man tells me more about their character than any drink will. It makes me sad that there is a bar in our industry that cares so little for its patrons. I am sure I don't know the whole story, but I know what I saw and it disappointed me. The bar itself is fine, just like any other. The business as a whole is a nice, comfortable place to hang out with friends. The only real problem this place has is only one bathroom (per gender). The bar staff were fast and courteous. Just be sure you use an app or that you know exactly where the place is. It's easy to miss from the main road - next to the Piggly Wiggly - which is also easy to miss from the main road. If you see Winn-Dixie, you've gone too far. (coming from the North) read more
