We had a tech recently come to our house. Before coming to our home their communication was great and they were very responsive. The tech spent four hours at our house and wasn't able to fix any of the issues - not only that but he created two new electrical issues. Our garage now is shortening out and the oven in our kitchen is shorting out and both not working. We asked him to replace some switches but he didn't have the right colors so I told him to wait to the next appointment because I would rather have switches that match. He replaced them anyways and did he will fix them next time. The biggest problem now is the company won't communicate with me. I let them know the new issues and would like the outlet covers fixed as well as him continuing to work on the other issues but for over a week they have ignored phone calls, msssages and text - so they didn't fix anything, made some things worse and put on the wrong outlet covers and won't respond. I am so disappointed because I thought I hired a good company with great customer service and reviews- all I have gotten so far is poor customer service and poor communication. I know our electrical issues are complex and would probably require additional appointments but to make it worse and not return any communication is so poor on the companies part. read more

We have used them for numerous projects. We have a house that is over 100 years old, so you imagine that there were challenges along the way with our renovation, but they always find a solution that works and is safe. They do great work and are very professional. The thing that impressed me the most is that when I was looking for an electrician, none of the others ever answered their phone, or even returned the phone call. First time I reached out to PLB, the call was answered and had the work scheduled. Every time I have called for more work, the call is answered. I reached out to Plug Light Bulb based on other reviews on Yelp and was not disappointed. I have been trying to get electrical run to our flagpole for over a year. Most electricians did not even call back. I was afraid this would be another contractor that did not even call. I received EXCELLENT communication and service from the team at Plug Light Bulb Electrical Services. Brian was our technician, and he had a helper, but I did not catch his name. Brian went what I would consider above and beyond to meet our needs. We needed a couple of outlets added outside, as well as, a solution to light our flag pole. Our home is about 100 years old, and, not fun to work on. Brian and his helper dug two trenches, one to the front flagpole, and one to the back patio. He even dug out my hostas and watered them so they would not die while he was working on the electrical. When they were done, they even re-planted them! Truly above and beyond. Polite, professional, and really know their business. He even mentioned we may want the overhead power moved at some point. We do want to do this, but did not know who could help. Professional and friendly staff only scratches the surface. This is the Only company I will use and here is why.... We bought a house that had been flipped/ completely gutted and remodeled. The home past the village and home inspection. We had an unexpected house fire displacing our family. The county could Not figure out the cause of fire and relied on PLB. Not only did they find cause of fire/ solve the problem, they did the electrical work correctly and got us into our home by working overnight all night and the next day to ensure we could get back into our home as soon as possible. We needed power run for two ac units. They provided a quote over the phone based on my project description. They would charge for a quote if they came on site, but would waive the cost of the first hour if they were hired. The quote was reasonable so I scheduled the work. They were on time and after looking at work we're able to quickly determine that needed to be changed. They communicated how much more they expected that to cost and then proceeded with the work. They finished up the work ad expected. I am going with a 4 star review because some sawdust was left over in our laundry room that I needed to clean up and one of the wall penetrations needed to be air sealed.
