I have been a customer of Plum for years. They have lots and lots of clothing, jewelry, handbags, shoes, an entire upstairs with designer jeans and evening gowns, every time I'm there I find something great. Some of my FAVORITE wardrobe pieces are from Plum, they only consign designer brands which I love. The owner is so nice, I have never had an issue at all and this past year I actually consigned a bunch of things that were sitting in my closet and it was super easy. I then got a nice little credit and put it towards the most beautiful practically new LV crossbody purse :-) Look, $10 isn't a lot of money for the year to consign- they have to pay employees, set up accounts and manage it all. And I'm not sure about the reviews about being "shady", I have only ever seen customers pay with credit card, as do I. Everything is labeled, accounted for and just like other consignment stores if you want to pick up before the "donation deadline" you have to get your list and find the items, very simple. Plum Consignment is a great place to shop! They have a huge selection of high-end designer clothing, not to mention their amazing selection of designer handbags and shoes at a great price. There is something for everyone here, whether you are heading out on the town and need that perfect black dress and evening bag, or that perfect dress for the office, or just looking for a casual outfit. Two floors of must haves and accessories and their huge selection of gowns are stunning. I've been to several consignment stores in CT and NY and Plum in NJ by far, is my favorite, that I make a special trip from Westchester, NY knowing I will always find the perfect item. They have an excellent consignment policy and each time I consign, after 60 days I just call and make an appointment to pick up my check. It's that easy and they do all the work for you. Consigning here is very easy & I made lots of extra cash--always helpful & honest. Shopping here is wonderful as well--everything is reasonably priced and they are always getting new items. Was just in for Black Saturday shopping for a gift for my wife. Very helpful ladies here who showed me some brand new and some "gently used" (as they called it) Tiffany & Co jewelry.
