The current water softener needed a new water softener distributor because the current water softener distributor was cracked. Advantage Water Conditioning replaced the water softener distributor which is working very wel and saved me a couple thousand dollars. Advantage Water Conditioning didn't sell me something I didn't need but instead resolved the issue with the repair. That is what you can expect with Advantage Water Conditioning. This caused 6+ inches of water to submerge the basement and thousands of dollars in damages, on top of an extraneous insurance claim that will likely result in our policy being cancelled. Also, part of the above project was to replace the sidewalk leading from the driveway to the front porch. It was only until they charged a late due invoice (of double the amount of the quoted work, I might add) and were threatened with warranted legal recourse did they finally complete the job, months after the pipe itself was replaced.

Early the next morning, I had a message from Adam B. Once I got to work, I returned the call and quickly described my issue and what I believed it to be. The first available appointment wasn't until Monday (it wasn't urgent, so I wasn't worried about going the weekend). I got my timeframe. I had a couple other appointments that day, so I ended up taking the day off so I could easily be available. I immediately liked that they told me who would be arriving - AND that was who arrived. I also liked that they use a customer portal that allows you to have some security if you pay online or to review your records. Christian arrived (there was one other person with him). It took him a couple minutes to diagnose the issue he believed it to be, and it took him not a lot longer to determine that diagnosis correct. He quoted the price, I agreed, and he got to work. After finishing the work, he determined the original issue I'd believed it to be wasn't quite needing to be addressed (but will be in the near future). We discussed options, including ways I could save a bit. Christian was personable and explained things in a way I could understand. The issue was likely caused by me, but he managed to avoid using the word "idiot" at any point. The repair was done in a timely manner. The price ended up being a bit lower than quoted. I appreciated his honesty as he very easily could have pointed me toward a repair not needing done yet. It also became obvious the last person I'd used had really only done half the job. Everything has worked beautifully since Christian finished. There are likely a couple more projects I'll tackle in the near future, and I won't hesitate to return to Grateful Plumber. The housecall was $59, but that was credited toward the repair once I decided to have them do the work. Friendly employees. Good follow-through. Fair pricing. Quality work. Problem solved. That's 5-star for me and another winner for Yelp's project feature.

The flooring has not been restored, parts of our home are still unfinished, and communication has been minimal despite multiple attempts to follow up and now they are refusing to cooperate. What has been most concerning is not the issue itself, but the lack of follow-through after responsibility was acknowledged in writing. This has resulted in an ongoing disruption to our home and a very frustrating experience. If you choose to work with this company, I would strongly recommend documenting everything clearly and confirming responsibility in writing before any work begins.

I called and talked with a very helpful man who looked at my records and advised it was nearly time for my yearly RO filter change. He advised they could come check the water softener and change my filters together the very next day! Paul the tech arrived promptly first thing the next morning. He tested my water and explained the readings to me. He also found the source of the problem with the water softener very quickly and had the part available on his truck. He repaired it, then explained in detail what the problem was. I really appreciated his thoroughness and for telling me more about my unit. As per their warranty (7 years parts and labor), the water softener repair was no charge and the filters with installation were ~$150. I continue to be very pleased with Cooper's and their staff.
