Never use this company. My Home Warranty selected them. They initially installed a water heater in my home under emergency circumstances but never completed the flue certification for me to get a permit. I spoke to them several times and even sent pictures they requested but the job was incomplete. They told me I had to pay over $350 for system upgrades - now I am not sure was necessary this was despite me having my Home Warranty. Absolutely horrible service. Gave them a $1600 deposit and agreed to 2 week turnaround. (2 week contract). They never obtained the permits (required by law in NJ), started the work.... and 2 months later job was still not done. I fired them and they refuse to refund money. The worst service I have ever encountered. No one answers the phone. You can leave messages and email them and they won't call you back. Nothing is an emergency to them. This is before, during and after you have used their services and paid them. They are completely unorganized and the service people are extremely rude. Do no use this company. They were assigned through my home warranty company to replace my furnace. They did not apply for permits with the township and reused old out of code parts. The duct and drainage modifications were sloppy. They did not identify that the drainage was incorrect for my unit, as a result, my neighbor downstairs had a flood from the water leaking beneath my new furnace. Now the company will not pick up the phone or take any service requests from my homeowner's insurance to make good on the repairs. Also, they only take payment by cash or check and I know why because I am sure many have disputed charges for bad work in the past. This is the worse company ever. I called them for a stoppage in my kitchen sink. Came to my house and cut my water pipes in two places and never sealed them back together. Left a total mess in my basement. Tracked dirt all over my house on my hard wood floors. I have not had a sink to use in over a week. This company will not return my calls and the technician will not answer my texts. Do not use this company. They can't fix anything thing but will destroy your property. I would also agree with other posters, I had a recent bad experience when these guys got assigned to an issue via a home warranty company. Told me they had fixed our heating issue and in fact had just placed a very temporary band aid on it which could have had more serious consequences. I don't know why their are so many bad reviews. I have used Plumb tech more than enough times and not once have I had a bad experience with them. They only called once to say they were late and would come late or reschedule.i rescheduled understanding the trade can be tough to stay on track. One job can hold you back for hours. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Absolutely unprofessional. They were assigned to us through AHS home warranty. The first guy they send out to look at our heating system shows up in sweatpants, sweatshirt and sneakers. He has no paperwork, or identification to show he's with plumb tech. I almost didn't let him in. He has his hands in his pocket the entire time and doesn't actually inspect anything. I complained to AHS. They sent out another tech over a week later. Then we make an appointment with them to have the parts replaced. The window was 9a-12p they call at 1230 to let us no the tech isn't coming. FREAKING RIDICULOUS! We make another appointment for the next Monday and they call again to reschedule. They tried to upsell us to replace our whole heating system for 5k. We said no. The whole point of our home warranty is if it does completely break AHS will replace the whole system. So because Plumb tech wasn't making more money off us the kept jerking us around. This company is terrible. We had no heat. They sent 2 employees one knew less then the other. They couldn't even install a thermostat. They did not fix the problem. The next time they sent 3 employees. They made the problem worse. Then he tried to con me into buying a new heat pump $3500 when I have a warranty. I still had no heat 2 weeks later. Just kept getting the run around and they rarely answer the phone. When I spoke with Ally to see when they were coming back she told me not for 3 more weeks. They are incompetent, disrespectful, heartless (wanting to leave a family with young children without heat for 3 weeks in the beginning of winter) unreliable. I bought a new Rheem electric hot water heater it was installed on 8/30/16 it leak and it could not be fixed. Rheem sent a work order to Plumb Tech and a Tech came the same day and said the water heater was defective and he would have someone come out Tuesday 9/6/2016 and sure enough Trevor showed. he was friendly, quick and did not leave a mess and even went with my husband to Home Depot in Allentown, Pa to return the defective water heater, and brought back the new one and in no time Trevor had it installed. I am usually not one to complain about service - but I am just beyond annoyed... They came 1 day to diagnose an issue and said they fixed it, when they didn't. Came back day 2 and diagnosed the issue. Made an appointment for a few days later - no show, no call. Left 2 voicemails, no call back. Had to call my home warranty service to get in touch with them again. Made an appointment (day 4) and they call at 5pm of my 3-5 window to say they can't come and rescheduled for today. I agree what with was written by others. I would never recommend this company or will I use them again. The person they sent was clueless - I can't even tell you how poor the experience was. We called almost every day after the visit because the person told us we would hear back in 2 days - we got a return call after we had already hired another plumber. I would give these guys zero stars if possible. Tech was assigned by Lowes to install a range and a microwave. Was supposed to come out on Friday. Did not show up because they could not get their vehicle started. I was told they would come at 8:30 the next day. They didn't arrive till 9:30.
