I'm really disappointed in my experience with Paragon. I made calls to various plumbers in the Mat…read moreSu area for pricing information prior to scheduling service and I feel like they weren't very transparent or honest with the pricing information that they gave me prior to me making the decision to use them. We had requested the removal of our reverse osmosis unit and to convert our dual drain sink to a single drain: Since we were getting new countertops and a new sink placed, they recommended the removal of the reverse osmosis and prep for the drain work in the first call out. For the second call out after the countertops and sink were installed I was told they wouldn't charge me for the call out fee and instead charge the hourly rate of $180 - sure, great. That's basically the standard pricing information I got by calling around. My main issue is that once the second call out was finished, I was charged $490.00 for 1.5 of work and materials. I was confused since the $180 hourly rate for even 2 hours of work was $360. They then informed me that since the previous job he was at was an hour away from me I was responsible for paying for his time to drive to my house? Not only that, the plumber told the manager that he was at my home for an hour and 45 minutes, which wasn't true. I have a ring doorbell that shows him arriving exactly at 1PM and walking out of my door at 2:33PM - which 5/10 minutes prior to that he was standing in my entry way collecting payment and discussing the pricing with me. In total we spent $730 on a job that took (collectively) 2.5 hours and only $35 of that total was for materials for the pipe and attachments/fittings under the sink. I'm no expert in plumbing but I've since discussed this with a number of people who are pretty shocked at the amount of money we had to pay for what is considered a relatively simple project. After speaking with Phillip he explained everything to me, which I appreciated, and offered to refund us $100 If that would "make me happy." I declined the refund because he made it seem like I was the only customer to call with this complaint. It really isn't even about the money, it is really about integrity and transparency. Had I known I had to pay for the plumbers time from driving point A to point B (regardless of how far away) I wouldn't have felt so blindsided by that cost. Also, the additional 15 minutes the plumber said he was there when he actually wasn't was really just a flat out lie. Long story, long: No, I won't be using them again and I don't recommend using them either.

Finding a good plumber is as important as finding a good primary care provider or car mechanic…read more We have owned our house for over twenty years and over the last several years we needed to replace our water heaters and most recently our boiler. This team is reliable, available, does high quality work, and the price is in line with any other plumber. Their team is a good mix of seasoned experts and newer staff showing their commitment to continuous development of their work force. We also upgraded our countertops and needed help hooking up the new sink and stovetop. The finished product looks and works great.

After 3 trips back and forth to get the right part, they installed it and we had hot water again. A few days later we noticed that water was pouring through the cwndo) condenser now, something that never happened in the past. I called these guys back and they sent a tech out. The tech came in and looked at the unit, and told me that I needed a new hot water heater and they would put a bid in for me and then left. Did a quick Google on the issue and the first thing that came up was an improperly installed. Called Flow Star plumbing (who I had never used before) and they came out and checked the flow sensor. Turns out the wrong o-ring was installed. The new tech installed the correct o-ring and turned the unit back on and the issue was fixed. Took maybe 15 minutes. Now I completely understand why these guys have such terrible reviews and will never use their services again.

Work hours from 9am then hour lunch to about 3pm so 5 hours total. You know which aint that bad we were ok with it. 2 installers came, one was very helpful and Brian who had an attitude on him when asking simple questions about system which would have resulted in more business to company. His answers were "eh" "i dont know" their #1 installer apparently. I could of had atleast 2 more projects for them if i was given just little information, some professionalism and showed care for customers. Installed new system. Didnt properly test it and left. System didnt work friday and over werkend, office was called but closed. Dont worry they have "emergency line" who never answers or returns calls. Left over 8 msgs from 3 different phone numbers. Dishes, laundry and no shower for a week in total with install and no returned calls. Finally got a tech out on business day. System threw a fuse, replaced. Left and system messed up again. Had to wait again for tech. While asking Clint dont know if manager or boss about their emergency line he had no good excuse not to return our call to atleast say we will get to you on this day ect. He became very rude him self when explaining the rudeness of employee and poor customer service/ entire install and emergency line issue. Not once any attitude or raised voice was shown to employees or staff on phone. No one deserves to be treated as we did. Would never recommend same headache to anyone.
