Great place for drinks and hanging out with friends! Really fun, older vibe. The people we sat by…read morewere all really nice and even offered us their pool table that they had paid for but didn't end up using. There's free parking outside, just register your license plate when you enter the building. I went with 2 other friends on a Saturday night. The place was pretty full but we got lucky and only had wait a few minutes for a table. It was decently loud inside but it was still easy to have a conversation. The waitress we got was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. I'm also super envious of her memory because there's no way I can remember who had which drink without writing it down for so many tables throughout the night!!! My friend also asked for a drink recommendation for the last round and she gave a great one. There's a lot of selection for drinks, as well as food. I really like their shared plates of finger food like tater tots and onion rings. My fish and chips were also very good. The table beside us ordered nachos and it looked huge and very delicious.

Aside from the time warp location, the food is easily 4*s, and honestly, I'd say it's better than White Spot as a comparable. The clubhouse sandwich contained actual turkey breast, not the deli turkey breast slices a lot of places use. That's an easy win right there. Very reasonable pricing to boot! It's basically a sports bar/pub grub menu set up. Pool tables as well. Lighting is on the darker side, with friendly and courteous service. They chat with you since they're curious as to how you know about the place. It's definitely not on too many peoples' radar for sure. They seem to like their hockey, as there are a couple of jerseys hanging. Guy Lafleur, Paul Henderson's autographed jersey from the Summit Series 1972, and a couple of others. Located in the basement of the Lougheed Village Mall, which is literally the Land that Time Forgot. I'm not exaggerating. Come and have a look for yourself. Free validated parking if you eat here. Recommend that you go for a stroll in the upper and lower levels and the courtyard whilst you're here. Maybe come in the evening during Halloween. You won't need to spook yourself out at a graveyard. This mall will suffice you plenty.

There are more drink and cocktail options compared to other neighboring Korean restaurants. We ordered: 1) beef tartare: not bad but the portion was slightly smaller than what I'm used to. It was delicious though as it was seasoned with sesame oil. 2) pork hock - first time we've had Korean pork hock from a restaurant. It was quite good. The dish came with two dipping sauce, jalapeno peppers and garlic slices. It came with a plate of romaine lettuce. Then the server brought us another plate of sesame leaves. This made me happier because there weren't many romaine leaves on the plate! 3) two bowls of rice - it was a slightly healthier version compared to plain white rice. We only received one side dish, which was somewhat of a disappointment as side dishes are one of the things we love about going to a Korean Restaurant. We're used to getting 3-4 side dishes every single time we go to a K restaurant: therefore, getting only one was disappointing.

The lady was so sweet and friendly, constantly checking up on everyone. There were 5 combos to choose from, we got the beef bulgogi box and the spicy pork box, each meal came with deep fried rice cakes, 5 PCs of chicken karaage, edamame, rice, soup, and a side of pickled radish. [ BULGOGI BEEF ] flavourful with a hint of sweetness, it's somewhat like a japchae. Stirred fried with broccoli, carrots, onions, bean sprout and glass noodles. They give you lots of beef and the portions were perfect with the rice. [ SPICY PORK ] The pork was cooked perfectly and it had a good amount of spice to keep the flavours balanced. This was stirred fried with cabbage, onions, bean sprouts broccoli, and green onions. The portion of the meat was a little less for this, we found that there were more cabbage/onions compared to the meat. [ RICE CAKE / KARAAGE ] The deep fried rice cakes had a nice soft and chewy texture, but crispy on the outside. The batter for the chicken karaage was a little hard, but the meat wasn't dry. Both were topped with mayo and a tangy (tonkatsu?) sauce. [ SOUP ] A soup of the day comes with the meal and we got ox bone soup. This was literally the highlight of the meal! It was pure, yet you can taste the rich flavours of the ox bone infused. Covid Protocols: They had 3 patio tables available, each table can sit approximately 4-5 people. They were 6ft apart, we felt very safe dining here. ---------- PRICE|$ 。$15.00 K-Meal Box (each)
