    Watered down vodka shots
    Gabriel C.

To be honest, I don't really sing much so I don't have many experiences to compare this place with but in general, it was okay. It's a fairly big facility with several karaoke rooms of various sizes. In the middle, there are tables and a bar so you can just eat or drink if you please. There's also a large TV to watch sports games and two electronic dart boards. I don't really remember the prices but it was around $42 for the 10 of us when we arrived there almost at midnight. The song selection was decent but it was a bit hard for people to get a turn to sing since there are only two mics (which is the norm though!) Since my friend wanted to take shots for our friend's farewell, he decided to order some vodka. However, we found out that if even just one person orders alcohol, there will be a minimum charge of $10 per person. This rule was a bit strange so they ended up over ordering alcohol and I believe it turned out quite expensive (I'm not sure what the final bill was because I left a couple hours early) Anyways, it seemed like everybody who sang had a good time and the location is pretty central so I guess it remains as one of Richmond's more popular karaoke bars! PS: Their vodka shots were quite watered down even though we ordered so many....

If you love to sing but too embarrass to do it in front of others, this is the place to get your 'Glee' on! I have only been here in the afternoon as they have 'All You Can Sing' from 2-7pm from Monday to Thursday for $10 per person, slightly more for Friday to Sunday. We enjoy the privacy in the rooms to sing our CantoPop songs, there are a great selection of Cantonese, Mandarin and English songs. Some old titles if you are nostalgic or new titles from current singers. If you are looking for certain artist, just write down the name and song and the staff will check if their supplier will have it and it will be there next time you come. There are wireless microphones with disposable covers to protect you. Free Wifi to tweet your photos out. They have just installed some Dart Machines in the lounge, plus they will have the game on the large TV. I think they also show the UFC Great place to spend a few hours a week!!

Had fun singing and playing darts but the place smelled like mold. Won't be back for that reason.

Cumbersome kareoke machines that eat up all your time. Sound system is bizarre and can barely hear yourself singing. Beers tasted rotten!

I stopped by to watch the Canada game a few days ago, and I immediately loved the atmosphere. The bar had a cozy and welcoming vibe. I sat at the bar, and the service was warm and attentive. I also noticed they have a small patio in the back, which looks like the perfect spot to enjoy a meal on a summer day. I ordered the chicken burger with a kale salad instead of fries. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the sauce was delicious, and everything came together on a soft, fresh bun. I also appreciated that the burger wasn't oversized - it was just the right portion. The kale salad was equally impressive. It was fresh and lightly dressed. I had such a great time enjoying my meal while watching the game. If you're looking for a comfortable spot to catch a sporting event, especially with a group of three or four people, I would absolutely recommend this place.

Furthermore, I feel like a place like this is what Vancouver needs and otherwise lacks: a gathering place for diehard NBA fans in cheer and analyze games together. I've appreciated the service each time I've been to Courtside - staff find a good balance between letting you enjoy the game while also being available (but not pushy) if you want to order more food or drinks. I had a burger and fries at Courtside and found the meal to be decent, however, not spectacular - I think the main attraction is still the atmosphere the place provides

The restaurant dining area is fairly typical looking - similar to Cactus Club, Joey's and Browns. Nice enough and well kept, but nothing outstanding. We tried the following items from the Happy Hour menu: - Smashed Avocado Dip: OK. The dip itself was much spicier than expected, so my wife couldn't eat it. The tortilla chips were good, but found the taro chips not so good. - Miso Tuna Crispy Rice: Good. My favourite dishes of the night. Like a regular sushi, but using crispy rice gives it nicer texture and flavour. - Steak Frites: OK. Steak was the right doneness, but not the best quality. Fries were average, and greens were limp. Service was OK. Our server did the minimum, and nothing more. A lot of the staff seemed to be chatting among themselves, instead of providing better attention to their customers. It took awhile to get plate cleared and get our bill. Overall it was OK. We went for Happy Hour to get better value, and we got that. I wouldn't have been very happy if we got the same food at full price.

The dish came with a tamarind-style dipping sauce that added a nice sweet-and-tangy twist. A Pleasant Surprise in a New City…read more While aimlessly wandering through a new city, I stumbled upon this spot and figured, "Why not?" With only a handful of patrons inside, my skepticism was high, but the visit turned out to be a positive one. I started with a light crisp draft beer that hit the spot perfectly. For food, I only took appetizers...the roasted brussels sprouts and chicken wings. Both are what you would expect from typical bar fare - tasty, well-prepared and satisfying without blowing you away. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing disappointing either. The vibe is ideal for catching up with friends. The front outdoor patio sits right along side a busy street, yet the noise level stayed comfortable enough for easy conversation. It felt a bit quiet during my Monday afternoon visit on a public holiday, but I can easily see it being a lively and fun hangout on a weekend. Overall, this was a decent spot and a good find. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

The second time around wings were better than the first ie my first review! They were crispy, still juicy inside and sauced real well. I've also had their smash burger which has been my favourite meal so far, it's absolutely delicious!! The double patty double cheese with pickles and onions is like a gourmet fast food burger - it has everything you need! It comes with choice of curly fries or regular fries or a salad, always get the curlies they're really good! I also love their Cesars, always really tasty which I find can be hard to nail at restaurants - this one is really good! Service is good, sometimes a touch slow if it's a busy night but always super friendly. The Saturday night crowd is always buzzing because of trivia and it's a fun time all around. We will be back plenty!
