Incompetence starts at the owner, Dawn DePasquale, and trickles down through multiple layers of mismanagement. My neighbors have had the same HOA violations ongoing for over two years, and several other homes are dealing with the same issues. The core problem is PMI's complete lack of follow-up--emails and phone calls go unanswered, consistently. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. To make matters worse, after I posted a negative review, Dawn's team went out of their way to attack my short-term rental--despite the fact that they have never stayed there and are based over 500 miles away. I didn't even want to give it one star. I will tell you this, don't apply on there website. it collects your money for the application but they can't pull the application up out of the system. just take it off your website. communication is very bad after submitting the second application, I was told they have other applicants to look at. after paying $20 for two people two times. Stayed at one of their properties through Airbnb. They never delivered the room we booked, and moved us mid-stay to a terrible room that they acknowledged was "very different" than what we booked. Promised to upgrade to make it right but then ghosted us and waited for the stay to expire. Very deceptive. They clearly mismanaged the property, and were overbooking and moving people into whatever rooms were available. When they failed to move our room because there "wasn't availability", we checked on airbnb and they were still trying to book reservations. Deceptive bait and switch activity. Poor customer service. Refused to refund our stay despite clearly violating Airbnb policies. I would not book at a property they own ever again. Nor would I trust them to manage my property based on their clear mismanagement of the property during our terrible weekend at Ocean Colony Beach Club. Avoid these people. read more

Do not stay at any of their properties if you have Special Needs family members. Very hateful and prejudiced against people with special needs!!!! My son and I stayed at the Ocean Colony, a PMI GC managed property, for a week in July. My son who has special needs had an accident in his bed, which I was unaware of. The following day the cleaning staff removed all the linens from the room, including mine, without replacing them. When we went to bed that night, unfortunately, I realized we had no linens, which caused an extremely uncomfortable night. The next morning when I went to talk to the manager about getting new linens and why we were forced to sleep without any linens the night before. Thinking that the situation was a simple mistake, I thought the manager would be sorry and offer us an apology for the mistake. I was quickly disabused of an amicable ending to this situation. The manager couldn't have been ruder or more hateful towards my son. She kept going how they had to remove the linens because my son wet the bed and how disgusting that was, etc. When I asked why that had anything to do with why we didn't get replacement linens, she just continued to attack my son and how he wet the bed. In fact, she never gave us new linens, we ultimately had to track down a member of the cleaning staff to get replacements. Finally, to make matters worse, PMI charged an extra security deposit in BREACH of our contract. And when I called PMI, they wouldn't take my phone call and just said the matter has been decided without even talking to me. NEVER EVER STAY AT ONE OF THEIR PROPERTIES THEY ARE HATEFUL AND VERY PREJUDICE AGAINST PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS!!!!! read more

PMI were by far the most professional, the most responsive, the best aligned with what we wanted in a tenant and quoted the best rate. They found us the perfect tenants, screened them thoroughly and have done a great job in making sure to create win:win scenarios for us and for the tenants. Any issues that arise are handled promptly and professionally and the lines of communication are always open. I just moved into Plymouth estates in mount sinai ny. I never lived in a condo before. when something needs repair on the outside of the condo you have to submit a work order to the management company. When doing this you have to remember work orders are prioritized. You need to have patience. When I submitted the work orders with pictures I was so pleasantly surprised how timely the work orders were taken care of. Meredith is the manager and Karen is her administrative assistant . The 2 of them are amazing. meredith was out on maternity leave and Karen took over the emails and getting orders completed. Karen replied to every email of mine immediately. Today the head workmen of Plymouth estates knocked on my door to confirm a leak I had in the basement was repaired. He said Meredith was back and checking all the work orders. Wow!!!! Very unprofessional! Over paid certain vendors, failed to pay others. Water company was going to shut off our water for lack of payment and our property taxes were not paid on time, thus we had to pay interest . They did not even realize their errors, I had to tell them. They were told to get refunds and never did. Management fees were not deposited in a timely manner. Some months hardly any checks were deposited. They never took care of any of the projects we asked to be done, They knew they were in breach of our contract because they offered to give us three free months of managment! When I asked for all our paperwork be returned to us, they never eesponded to any of my letters so I had my attorney send a few letters and still they didn't respond to my requests for the documents that were property of the condo association! read more
