I wouldn't hire Zed LaCour to do anything for me. I found him to be unresponsive to concerns, derelict in overseeing his staff and inattentive when in a meeting- taking phone calls from other the whole time. read more

I hired Zed to manage and rent our family home due to moving out of state. 11 months after our home was rented, we decided to put it on the market to be sold. Our realtor scheduled a walk-thru. We were devastated with the results. Numerous lease violations were found. Now our 4 year old home looked like a 10 year old home. We have repairs that far exceed the deposit. With no end in sight. Zed's lack of professionalism is a palling and I highly recommend you looking elsewhere for your property management needs. read more

I then asked if they sprayed and how often? We get upstairs to the condo as she opened the door I saw dead coaches everywhere..she then proceeded to say "aren't you from Louisiana?" I should be use to seeing bugs, I don't even have bugs at my current home. Robin was very insulting at this point I was ready to go. I did end up finding another property to rent during my contract in Lafayette. I do not recommend renting from this company they didn't bother to check or do a walkthrough before my showing.

The absurdity of the hoops we had to jump through, the replies I had to pry out of the agents by threatening a lawyer, the pure lack of communication, piss-poor repairs that took months to happen, blaming conditions of the house on our negligence when we actually put in days and days of work to leave it better than when we moved in. Keeping two thirds of our deposit because of that "negligence" after a dozen emails with no replies. They kept over $1000 for yard services because it took them nearly a month to inspect the property after we moved out. over half of which was conditions we moved into the house with. Now also think.. the rainy season of south Louisiana.. OF COURSE the yard will overgrow in that time. MAN am I happy to be DONE with this company. If you're considering them.. DON"T.
