I did so at the branch as soon as received the one and only letter in the mail (did not even receive a phone call warning). The branch staff was friendly but "loss prevention" aka the virtual customer service teams still could not lift the hold on our account after spending hours trying to reach the proper dept via WF CS lines to find someone to fix the issue. Only to have them still close my business accounts without proper communication back to me, leaving us in a lurch, forcing us to open a new business account elsewhere to ensure our business transactions are uninterrupted, because they no longer want my business due to a paperwork mistake created by themselves! I am spending days of work to set up all new accounts elsewhere and redo all our ACH bill payments. Even the branch associates complain of getting proper help for their customers due to lack of system processes and escalations. I have never experienced such disregard, lack of ethics, and disrespect to customers from a bank. Avoid WF at all costs!!! No stars but this forces me to select a star!

Worst Experience Opening a Business Account!!!! Two appointments and they didn't open…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but after multiple visits to this Wells Fargo location, I feel obligated to warn others -- especially those looking to open a business account. We scheduled an appointment in advance to open a business account. When we arrived on Friday and checked in, we waited until Emily, our assigned consultant, approached us around 4:00-4:15 PM. She immediately informed us she was running behind with another client and might not be able to see us. We offered to wait, which we did -- and after about 5 minutes she became available. However, by the time we actually sat down with her, we were already 15 minutes past our scheduled appointment time, through no fault of our own. The first obstacle: Emily asked whether we had our business documents printed on paper. We had everything in PDF format and offered to share them digitally. She refused, insisting on physical printouts only. We suggested printing them at the nearby UPS store -- literally a minute away -- which we did. More time wasted. By the time we returned and sat down to actually open the account at 4:18 PM, Emily made a point of mentioning that her shift ended at 5:00 PM and she would "do her best." This felt deeply unprofessional given that she had spent a significant portion of our appointment time with other clients, causing the delay in the first place -- leaving us with barely 40 minutes to complete the process. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome -- as though the staff was looking for any reason not to serve us. Near the end of the process, Emily asked about our citizenship. We explained we are Ukrainian nationals but hold all the necessary U.S. documents: business paperwork, ID, Social Security, and a Wells Fargo card. She said the system was flagging our Ukrainian documents and that she couldn't proceed without a manager -- who happened to be absent that day. She scheduled us for a follow-up appointment on Monday and said she would call to confirm what documents we needed to bring. She called the next day and said no additional documents were needed after all. This was frustrating and frankly absurd -- as if we have nothing better to do than drive back repeatedly for appointments that could have been handled the first time. Monday's appointment was no better. We arrived on time (again, they were 15 minutes late -- the second time this happened). A different consultant, Lily, took over. Unfortunately, my husband had forgotten his physical ID and only had a photo of it on his phone. We asked if his Wells Fargo card could serve as identification -- it could not. We then asked whether we could open the account under my name only, since I had my ID. At that suggestion, Lily let out an audible, heavy sigh. That said everything. To summarize: -- Two appointments, both started 15 minutes late -- Staff who visibly did not want to serve us -- An unnecessary trip to UPS to print documents that turned out not to be required -- A consultant (Emily) who appeared to be doing this for the first time and didn't know basic account opening requirements -- Zero professionalism, zero warmth I have banked with Wells Fargo before and never experienced anything like this. This specific location is not equipped to handle business account openings -- neither in terms of knowledge nor customer service. I would not recommend it to anyone, and especially not to those opening a business account for the first time.

Pros -Clean professional environment…read more-Amazing Customer Service Cons -Their card printing machine was broken when we were there so we couldn't get a debit card. (Which isn't a huge deal because we were just advised to go to a branch close by) My bf and I have recently moved to this city and have decided to join BECU. As based on reviews, we heard this is one of the better credit unions of the area. We were helped by an employee named Austin. And he was amazing!! My bf has never been with a credit union so we were asking for Austin to explain everything to us. And Austin went above and beyond to explain every single process and to make us feel comfortable and safe with this bank. Austin's customer service provided was an easy 10/10. I am not sure why this branch doesn't have a good review as we are more than satisfied with the service received by Austin!

As the projects progressed, it became clear that there were some additional issues that needed to be addressed under the surface. Overwhelmed, I contacted BECU to see if my HELOC amount could be increased. After a very reassuring, lovely phone call, it appeared that I would qualify for a larger amount that could cushion the blow of these unforeseen expenses and allow me to complete the project. Received a phone call today letting me know that, because the project is currently ongoing, they can't complete the application--even though the representative I first spoke with assured me this would not be a problem, and it happens all the time. Between the time I spoke with the first representative and today, I've signed off on and committed to paying for the full renovation. How am I going to be able to pay for this? It takes BECU at least a month to process new applications. Feeling completely betrayed and misled by BECU. Horrible.
