There isn't constant turnover as there was at my previous bank -- a regional chain. It's also not as busy so I can step up to the counter more quickly than before. Their app is a bit easier to navigate than my previous bank's app too. Only reasons for four stars at this branch (and they are minor) : 1) No safe deposit boxes. I could really use that; 2) No change counting machine. KCCU advertises that customers can turn in large amounts of change to be machine counted and exchanged one day a week for free. Turns out they only do that at the Portage branch, not this one. The Portage branch is located in a wealthier area. So what are we? Chopped liver?

People at the bank are nice and have been helpful, but do not rely on bill pay to pay as you…read moredesire. The system will indicate it is sending something electronically and then send it as a check, only telling you after the fact. This means your payment may not, and most likely will not, be received on time. Additionally, even when a stop payment is in place, the amount will still show as deducted from your account. So after you do a direct pull from the creditor so that the money is received on time, double the amount you paid will show as being withdrawn from your account. This did not happen until the switch to .bank and a different vendor was put in place for bill pay. Please fix this FNB because it is much better to handle bill pay in one place than it is to have every creditor have access to one's bank account information for direct pulls.

They are very responsive to all of my questions and Scott always spends extra time to ensure we understand what is included and not included in our policies talking us through the standard recommendations for coverage and his recommendation for us but ultimately allowing us to make our final decision without pressure. I have since moved to Grand Rapids and the level of customer service they are still able to provide is impressive. When we need our yearly review, Scott meets my husband and I at my work place in GR.
