I was the second customer in line & I did not leave out until 10:20am. They only had one teller & I don't think she needs to be there . It was actually 1 other staff & the manager assisting her & they were all slow & unapologetic. The 4 people behind me all complained as well . I only had 1 transaction & that was for a cash deposit. I normally visit the branch at Columbia mall . I for sure will be going there from now on.

The line continued to grow, I left when I was next in line. The lady in front of me was doing a business transaction, with multiple bags of money being counted etc., which was going to take additional time. Meanwhile 2 other customers came and went without completing their banking, they too were not happy with the service. I followed up with a phone call to corporate and filed a complaint. Had some trouble getting the first payment set up because apparently their internal people found a loan. I had there 10 years ago and merged the information from that with my new loan. Unfortunately, I haven't lived at that address in seven years, I haven't had that phone number in seven years, and that loan was joint with my ex-wife. That prevented me from establishing an online banking account because none of the information they had on file was really mine. So after three phone calls in about two hours of my time I thought I had that straightened out and made my first payment. Three weeks later I get a statement from them and they're still wrong information. I decided I was done wasting time and I went to the branch in Columbia to pay off the loan. They told me I need an appointment to see a bank specialist? I guess they have too much business they don't need to help people walking in the door. Anyway after waiting a while, they finally gave me a payoff amount for my loan and I wrote a check from a different bank. Within two hours of me, leaving the bank somebody claiming to be from Truist called me and tried to get more personal information about me. I realized it was somebody scamming me, and ended the call. I am mediately, got a fraud, alert warning from my bank. Somebody inside of Truist sent my information to a criminal to try to hack my accounts and commit fraud. I tried to call truest fraud department, only to get connected to a call center in India where no one understood what I was talking about. I had to drive immediately to my bank and close my accounts because they were still trying to hack into them because they had a copy of my check with my bank account, and by the time I got to my branch, they had already opened a Zelle account on it. I even called the vice president/branch manager the next day and told her. She is she still didn't attempt to connect me with anyone in their fraud department. Avoid this bank at all costs
