Unfortunately, someone hacked into my account and stole my money. I closed my checking account right away and opened a new one. Also blocked my debit card and was issued a new one. Anyway, fast forward 2 months... they did not transfer money automatically for my car payment (from my checking to my loan) even after I filled out the form 2 months ago to enable them take from the new account! Then they kept calling me bugging me stating I didn't make my payments yet! I talked to 3 people there who assured me it would be automatically done the next month... guess what-STIll it didn't go through. The one teller was kind of short tempered and rude when I asked for an explanation. Another issue was they Constantly blocked my card and called me EVERY week to verify transactions! I have a business and could never order things I needed..they said "oh there's no way to push those through or make exceptions if you try to order from any other country. I understand there being security measures but it is to the ridiculous point with them! If you contact fraud dept. they can't tell you WHY the card has been blocked! Sorry for the rant but I am really upset at this point. I even closed my accounts there and went to another bank. Used to recommend FFCU to all my family and friends. They lost a loyal customer.

They have been a delight to work with for the most part. I have seen first hand the employees work hard to make something work for you. By far, the best experience I've had in banking. I would recommend Fairmont Federal to anyone seeking a new account or thinking about testing the water with a credit union... unless you will be working with the Westover branch. Since we purchased our new home, the Westover branch of Fairmont Federal Credit Union would be the most local and convenient. However, the branch manager lacks the same customer service and work hard for you attitude. Consequently, his poor management seems to trickle down. Drive-thru service is often a long process due to being short staffed. Kellen is often rude, and seems to have better things to do. I once needed to send a bankers check to a client. After telling me I would have to stop back in 45 minutes, I came back only for Kellen to tell me he could not help me. I then drove to the Fairmont Gateway branch, and they was a pleasure, as always. They sent the money, no problem. This is just one example of a number of bad experiences with Kellen and Westover FFCU. We now drive 16 miles out of our way to the Bellview branch (they have been wonderful). If you are local to Fairmont or Morgantown, I would absolutely recommend Fairmont Federal Credit Union. In my 6 or 7 year experience with the credit union, the Westover branch seems to be an anomaly. Otherwise, FFCU keep up the great work!

This bank has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with and I use several banks. No one…read moreknows anything or can answer you questions and their famous response is "I just work here". They think they can talk over customers and have a very bad attitude with everyone. I won't be banking with them anymore. They also made a transaction from one account of mine to another without my permission and when I called to find out what's going on, the branch manager is "in a meeting with another client". I seem to see this problem in many reviews here. It's time they get shut down!

Stop the lying, Huntington Bank…read more Shortly after opening an account at Huntington bank, I began receiving several letters per month with things like "Important Account Information, Please Open Immediately" or "Important Records Information" printed on the front of the envelope. Of course, I always opened them right away, concerned that there might be something amiss with my account. Nope. They were all pitches for either Life Insurance, Credit Protection schemes or some other scammy products. They were most certainly NOT "Important Account Information" and had NOTHING AT ALL to do with my account. The notations on the envelopes were bald-faced LIES. I do not appreciate it when a business I am patronizing lies to me. Finally, I called the bank and firmly but politely told them that I was fed up with them mailing me this sleazy, dishonest garbage. They promised to "opt me out" of the "service" immediately and assured me that I would get no more of these mailings. That was 2 weeks ago. Guess what showed up in my mailbox yesterday? Another envleope from Huntington Bank with the words "Important Records Confirmation" on it. Inside was another sleazy marketing pitch trying to disguise itself as legitimate correspondence. I called the bank and they acted puzzled about why I am still receiving these since I am shown in their system as "opted out". Huntington Bank, if I get even ONE more of these scammy letters disguised as "important account information" I am closing my account and moving to one of your competitors. Just Stop It.

Obviously has nothing better to do with his life than trap students just trying to get through their day. The lot was empty and it's 20 minute parking for "bank customers."
