I don't have an account with the company, plus my husband has cancer so we don't use any type of chemicals in the garden or in the house. We do have a Pest Control service, quarterly - they do take care only of the exterior perimeter of the house, and they do come to the front door to let us know they have arrived. Our mature flowering trees, bushes, and plants, have never been sprayed with any chemicals whatsoever - on purpose! I am beside myself! He just walked onto my property , even though it says private property do not enter - and without talking to me without making sure here is that the right address he just started spraying chemicals everywhere ! How is it possible? Don't these people have a map? Why are they not checking which address they are at?! What kind of people are you hiring...... who don't know how to use a Google map on their phone?! The dude in a hazmat-suit quoted a different address when I interrupted his spraying. It is down the street, not even on my street address, down the street -two blocks! What I do not understand is - if you've never been to the property you are about to service by spraying chemicals ... why not let the home owners know you are there ready to start?! This business is not getting more than a single star.

At our previous home, we had some trees that were planted before we moved in, and they were not doing well in the space. We contacted Sperry and the amazing Alby from Sperry came out and gave us a bid for removing the "bad" trees, and planting appropriate trees for the space. After reviewing the bid, we approved the work and got on the schedule. The crew showed up on time and immediately got to work. They worked very hard in not the best weather and finished the job in one day and everything looked great. After moving to our current home, we inherited a much larger yard that had one tree that definitely needed removed, so we called Sperry and asked if we could have Alby visit to give us a bid. Once again, Alby showed up, told us about all the trees in our yard, and agreed the tree needed to be removed. We once again approved the bid, scheduled and had the crew come out. They removed the tree and a few other items, ground the stump down and we had a "new" backyard. The latest we have used Sperry was after the ice storm. They were booked out for obvious reasons, but put us on the list for when they were available. Once again, Alby came out to look at our big maple that had been annihilated by the ice. He told us it could definitely be saved, but needed some serious trimming and lifted. We got on the books and had the crew come out once again. They topped some of our other trees, made the maple free of all the damage from the ice storm. After they finished, the maple has been regrowing wonderfully like nothing ever happened. We will continue to make Sperry our first call for any and all tree related services. If you have the pleasure of Alby visiting, you will learn so much about the trees, shrubs and plants in your yard, it's absolutely amazing.

Because the crew went from 3 to 2, heavy limbs, and I mean 6 to 10 inches were thrown from 30 and 40 feet onto the lawn and now have huge depressions throughout, not to mention all of the sawdust. Becca not only took the job that nobody else could or would do, she succeeded even after I had given up all hope. Einstein, my very large military macaw was scared angry and in no mood to be handled by a stranger. Despite my reassurances that she was sweet and didn't bite, (honest, under normal situations she is a strictly non-violent bird) Becca took several painful bites but she didn't give up and remained extremely gentle and careful with a very stressed animal even while being attacked by her. I hesitate to leave too many details because I'm sure she doesn't EVER want to be called out on another parrot rescue but I couldn't let it go without giving her a mention somewhere.
