Food is good have not had bad food in there. Service is good they only have 2 people some of the time but the gals are working as hard as they can and as fast as they can, if there super busy they ladies will get to you as fast as they can. they have a lot of open play pool tables 8 foot and 9 foot and 6 coin op. tables which are in good repair. cues are good all so. they play Leagues and buy in tournaments all the time. like the no smoking because i have been in bars try to play pool that you damn near can see the end of the tables for the smoke. It is clean they staff are always wiping the tables off. The tables are 1.00 a game on coin ops. and 3.00 for single players and 7.00 for two or more per hour. they also have two dart games. A foosball table and some video game too. Its a VERY FUN PLACE TO BE AT. The song i right I love this bar. read more

Played pool regularly here from 2007-2011. There was a large group of regulars. Happy Hour BOGO drinks from 5-7 was the way to kick off a Saturday night. Pool leagues during week nights were a great way to break up the work week. There was always the occasional buy-in tournament. The manager, now owner always made the place a fun place to be. Slightly overcooked wings with Frank's Red Hot sauce on the side was a good snack. Made a lot of friends here over the years and a million memories. Places like this are few and far between. I certainly appreciated having this place to enjoy for so long and miss it and all of the good times. I'll always feel good about Pockets in IF. read more

This is a neat little bar tucked away in Idaho Falls. There's quite a few pool tables - you can pay $0.75 a game on some of the smaller tables, or rent a large (9 footer) for $5 an hour. The bartender kept the drinks flowing and was really nice to my two little barely 21 year old brothers, kept explaining new drinks and whipping things up for them. If i requested something she wasn't familiar with, she didn't say no she just asked how to make it. My brother-in-law had four beers, his tab only came to $8. Its super smokey in there, bathrooms are clean, place is huge. Didn't eat any of their food, but it looked like they had a full menu. read more

Heard great things about this bar, went there for a birthday just to have a few drinks and play pool, we are from out of state and one bartender went off about my ID which I get she was just doing her job however it is a valid, non expired, government issued ID. I get where she was coming from because I'm a bartender in a different state so I just explained to her that the state we were from doesn't just issue an ID because you turned 21 (I'm 23) they only issue you a new ID if yours expires which she didn't like but it is what it is. Then she ignored us and told us we were going to have to order from another bartender while we were there. I guess I just think it's more important to do your job then try to be right. read more

Used to be our Sunday night out. Best karaoke on Sundays. Why would they downgrade is beyond me. Tried to be supportive twice first time was ok. If you are not a friend of the guy running the show you don't sing but one time, then when you do, hardly any songs, as using some program that I'm sure is used for home use. Wired mics that cut in & out. Speakers are old and sound is just terrible. Why change something that was very good to something so terrible. Please do something about this so we can again enjoy Sunday nights!!! read more

I really enjoyed playing pool in this place. Most places that claim to be pool halls are actually bars with a few pool tables in them. This place is an actual pool hall that has over a dozen tables and happens to have a bar in it. The staff was polite and considering there only two folks running the joint, pretty quick with the service. The tables and cues were also in great shape. read more

Used to love karaoke on Sundays. We went in last week. Was very slow from what it has been in the past. The KJ was not we were used to in the past. Used to just sign in on a kiosk and see our history. Said heck let's try it out. Old tapped up microphones wired so your stuck right there, with all the wires hanging off the table. Did not have any of the songs we usually sang, KJ said he can go to youtube and get them, from what I know that is a not legal for sure. We left, which really sucks as it was the only good karaoke on a Sunday in town. read more

Best tables I have found anywhere bear Idaho Falls. The staff is kind as well. Definitely a great place to play pool.

Been here a few times in my life. Me and my husband don't get out much cause we have 4 kids but when do we like to come early and leave early. We played a few games of pool and a a couple drinks and leave. Today we took my dad there cause we just learned he has cancer and doesn't want treatment. We played a few games of pool and had a few drinks with my eldery father that doesn't get out much. When we were on our last game of pool, about ready to leave ,the owner for reasons unbenonced to us ,inserted herself into our conversation and got in my face acting like I was being belligerent and told me I needed to leave. I was floored and confused at this point. Before I knew it there was an older man and 2 women in my face telling me I needed to leave. My father, husband and I were all confused! They didn't even let me get all my belongings! My phone was left! I was outside trying to talk to my father and figure out what the heck just happened when one of the women ( that said she was the owner) was outside and wouldn't stop yelling at me and talking smack to me. I was calmly talking to my dad trying to ignore her but she got louder and louder and wouldn't stop! I finally started walking towards her asking her what her problem was when she was screaming at me and once again I had an older gentle man up in my face putting his hands on me while my husband was just trying to pay the bill so we could leave! I can not believe how disgusting and disgraceful the owner handled herself! I have been here many times and have always had a great time, but after this monstrosity I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone! For being the owner she should be held to even a higher standard then her patrons! She had no class or tacked what so ever! Very disappointed! Can't believe how she handled herself! There was absolutely no cause for here action. I'm still not even sure what brought her from across the room to our pool table! Side note all the other staff was awesome! To bad the owner is even half as good or tactful as her staff! read more

Poole tables are nice but had to wait 10-15 minutes for service. Also bartender server, coral was extremely rude while we were standing waiting to get service. Coral decided instead of asking us if we needed something that we were in her way and it was the last time she was going to tell us and that "once we aren't 22 years old we would understand." Then proceeded to tell the bartender how awful we are when we were standing right there. Makes me not want to spend my money there and also cost the bartender his tip. read more
