We came here on the recommendation of the lonely Planet. We were not disappointed. This restaurant…read moreis known for its fresh fish. To that end we shared the mixed fish platters. They were enormous. Sea bream, salmon, mussels, sea bass, King prawns, squid. Grilled to perfection. We ordered sides of Canarian potatoes (best in the island) cheese and Salads. There was complimentary bread with potent garlic aioli given to start. There was a small wine menu. We had the Albariño. It was crisp and delicious. Our male friend had the fillet steak with chips and was equally content. He had a fantastic bottle of Ribera del duero. There was absolutely no room left for dessert. Really Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. I would do back in a minute! PS they do not accept credit cards.

This place had nice seats facing the sea so we took the bait and ordered some drinks. They have plenty of cocktails to choose from, all reasonably priced (most are €6, some are €8). We had a strawberry mojito which was pretty good, and a Singapore Sling which was kind of dissapointing. It was a huuuge glass but I felt like I was drinking some watered-down strawberry syrup, barely any taste of gin. So after this I figured I'd try one more, and went for the Zombie because I kind of felt like feeling like one the next morning. Rum, triple sec, rum 80%, this should do the trick, I figured. But, meh. Still tasted like the syrup you'd give to your kids (but don't though, really). I thought maybe I'm just such a hard core cocktail connoisseur and I've become immune.. But the lady sitting near us seemed to have the same complaint and actually sent her mojito back cause it wasn't good enough. Also, they play terrible old soft rock music that will kill any party mood instantly (who wants to get drunk to Bryan Adams really?) sooo I'd skip this place and go for a 'trendier' bar next time.
