We had a great time at Poco Loco. Our referee Asher who lead the games for our group did a great job!! He was friendly, provided tips, engaged in conversation and made the overall experience for my nephews really fun. Due to the park being really crowed we waited about an hour and a half after our reservation time before our first game but after that the time flew by. Special Note: Mask are not required and social distancing is not enforced. 95% of the people there did not have mask on. We wore ours. You do have a goggles mask you have to wear while playing so that helped. It's just in between games while waiting at the picnic area that you have to worry about. Overall it was a very fun day! I did Poco loco airsoft yesterday it was very fun but in the beginning when we did the chronograph our instructor Odin I am pretty sure that is his name call me a retard because I got confused I have ADHD and that was very offensive to me I would definitely go there again to do but please be advised to him and he also used me as a human shield I got shot behind the ear because of that but I had fun otherwise and made new friends. read more

Poco Loco always does a good job with ensuring you have a good time. We had Zach as our referee and he ensured we had fun all day long. Online reservation was easy. Next time we'll fill out waivers in advance to cut down on some of the pre-work. It's nice to have a park that is a closer drive. We had one of the poco loco paintball coaches play in our group and he was a true ambassador for the game. Jeff has done a nice job continuing to grow poco loco over the years. A group of 4 of us (Caroline, myself, and our two boyfriends) spent the day here playing paintball on one of their discount days ($20 entry/$20 for 500 paintballs). After check in, we were all given a 10 minute orientation with the basic rules, the upgrades available, and the liability wavers. As Brian said, the staging area seems quite small; pretty much all the tables were taken by the time we got there (we had the latest check in time). After you fill out the waivers, one of the employees will call your group up to the window to get your gear. Our goggles and gun were included but you could upgrade to a better gun (for an extra $20), rent camo ($8), or buy different forms of protection so the sting of the paintballs wouldn't hurt so bad (chest protectors, knee pads, etc). Each group was divided into teams, and given arm bands of their team color to easily recognize friend or foe while on the field. We played 2 games on each field we visited (totaling about 8 games altogether), but had to hike to and from the original staging area between each game (unless the field was further along the path, then you got to wait in the netted area by your field). Most of the employees were pretty cool; we got to talking with one of our ref's Adam who was very social and cool. All in all, it's a pretty fun way to spend the day, just be prepared to hike most of the day and possibly gain a battle wound or two! read more

We've been twice in the last two months and loved it. Affordable and professional, and most importantly FUN! My guy organized a group for his birthday and we went at the tail end of February, so the ground was slushy snow and we wore layers, which of course are great for minimizing the bruising from being hit by paintballs. We were a group of 15, and they gave my guy an upgraded gun and free pass for bringing everyone in. Mike, our ref, was fun but fair and took us to a number of fun fields with different types of games like capture the flag, storm the castle etc. Since the weather wasn't great, there was only one other group, but the staff was attentive and helpful. The second time we went was a warm day at the end of May and the place was popping. There were several large groups and truly organized chaos. The staff were well positioned to handle the number of people, keeping the lines short and getting everyone out to the fields quickly. They knew which fields were open and kept a good rotation going. We even tried the pistol game, where you get two clips of 7 and need to collect all your team's flags before the other side does. I loved it! read more

It doesn't look like much when you first walk there put when you get in the game it is so much fun. The paintballs sting a little bit but when you notice you got hit then the stinging goes away. The community is amazing their. Everyone is very nice giving each other paint in battle and advice on aiming and moving around. Overall this is so much fun, but I wouldn't go during the hotter months because of the adrenaline and you are constantly running will make you hot. I have brought my children here for birthdays for the past 5 years. This was the first time I brought a group for my youngest son. Michael was he ref and he was phenomenal! After watching him with the kids, I had absolute confidence that the boys were in good hands. He was a great ref, guide, and caregiver. Great experience. Jeff the owner was fantastic, he saved my daughters birthday party. Thornton paintball where our party was originally scheduled canceled us at the last minute 7pm night before due to field conditions even though they said we can play rain or shine. This was a huge problem I called Poco Loco at 8 o'clock that evening and the owner answer the phone and quickly accommodated us. When we arrived at the facility we could not have been taken care of any better they were attentive to every need my daughters birthday party went off with a great success. After talking to many people they clearly said Poco Loco was far superior than the other places in the area. I would gladly go back and in fact I'm planning on it. well my for my first visit there it was a great experience. they sell diferent types of ammo that you wouldnt usually fund in alot of other places. the sell smoke grenades and paint grenades. they detonate on impact not on a timer. fyi. Cost is really reasonable, but when it coems to replinshing your paintball ammo. it can get exspensive. non memebrs i believe its $22.00 for 500 for non members. if you become a member you get special perks that gives you major discounts when it comes to ammo, gear, and weapon upgrades. i went with my team and we had a blast. definitly becomming a member. the fields are clean and well maintained. the upkeep on this place really impressed me. my favorite part is the CQC (Close Quarters Combat). they give your 4 mag clips and you load them, then you turn 2 clips over to the refs and the hand you a hand gun. pretty powerful kicks out about 270 psi. 7 rounds per clip, and each game your allowed 14 rounds, 1 (ex)clip. bottom line one hell of a good time. definitly suggest bringing alot of people, the more people the better the experience. read more

First a disclaimer. I'm not really into paintball, so I'm not up on the fine points of what constitutes a great paintball facility. Poco Loco is located near Limerick PA. It has maybe 9-10 different settings that they use for play. Many are hilly and or rocky and most are dotted with rudimentary huts and walls. Some of the areas seemed cramped, others quite large. The staging area is small and it seemed to me, a novice, a bit disorganized. The folks playing there ranged from ultra-enthusiast to novice, sometimes grouped together, sometimes grouped by "skill" level. In all, it's nearby to Philadelphia and the burbs and a fun way to spend a Fall afternoon. read more

Poco Loco is amazing. I took my 15yr old son and 10 of his classmates there for his birthday and they had an awesome time. The entire experience was great from the owner greeting us on the way in to the staff and the game referees who were the best! The obstacles courses are freaking amazing. The whole set up and organization of game play was all in check. Great outdoor facility. All levels from newbies to around the clock players. Can't wait to go back!! Tourist Trap I've been doing paintball for several years now and this place is not a great place to go. I have been there once before and I figured I would give it the benefit of the doubt and give it another go since my first trip was crappy too. Anyway, went there this past weekend and I will not be returning. I'll list out the pros/cons below but overall, it was extremely rocky (one map is affectionately called, "the ankle breaker"), as expensive as skirmish, and they are very slow. Pros: * "The Great Escape" - They have a really cool feature called the great escape where you get to shoot it out with paintball pistols. So that was neat. You get to do two rounds in there or until you run out of ammo (you get 4x clips of 7 rounds). * Well organized * FPS is enforced Cons: * Expensive paint ($80 per case of paint) * Expensive field pass (even if you bring your own gear) * Have to pay for compressed air fills (and CO2 fills but that's typical) * Reservations required * Heavy focus on pushing "upgrade" packages for renters * Rocky fields (really dangerous) * No speed ball * Slow to get games going * Sponsored teams get special treatment (noticed that there were a bunch of players who were also refs so they were allowed to do whatever they want) Other Notes: * No ramping allowed... semi-auto only and it is enforced so keep that in mind. I don't think that's really a pro or con... just something to think about. Unless you are on their sponsored team... then you can do whatever you want. So overall... go elsewhere. LVP South is not very far and way better. Or if you're up for a drive, head to Skirmish. read more

First time paintballer. I organized the outing as part of a bachelor party. There were only 6 of us, and since another group of 15 had cancelled we ended up with the whole place to ourselves. I imagine this is a unique situation, and I'm not sure how it would compare to a busy day, but it was a ton of fun! Most of us were novices and, frankly, on the geekier side of the spectrum. I could usually care less about shooting things or getting shot at. But we all really got into it at Poco Loco. The various scenes and scenarios definitely added to the fun. The plot of land they have (for over 20 years) seems perfect for paintball. Lots of diversity and mixed challenges. Because we were such a small group, they just had 2 guys running the show and they were both great. Fun to work with and not cocky or disparaging towards newbies. The ref was helpful and professional, but also friendly. It's been a month since we did it and I still have bruises at various stages of healing. But, seriously, it was totally worth it. read more

Took a group of 12 year olds here today to celebrate a birthday. Jeff and his staff were incredible! Significant focus on safety which was a huge plus - I did have 5 other people's kids I was responsible for! Every staff member treated each customer with respect and the players really all seemed to have a great time - regardless of age or skill level. I play here whenever I'm able with C3 Airsoft. The staff is professional the field is clean and well taken care of. Prices are extremely reasonable and a small pro shop has the amenities you would want. We were teamed up with another group of boys 13-14 years old and we had a blast. The refs were very friendly and informative - helping the beginners with pointers and strategies. The entire staff was very safety cautious and stressed it over and over. Overall it was a great day and will definitely return! read more

My 12 year old wanted to play paintball. I called to see if we could just show up and play. You need a reservation in advance, I was told, and we don't recommend putting kids with dads as that doesn't turn out well. I spoke to the owner who said, "We like to group kids with kids so get a group of at least 6 and I can play them 3 on 3 together." It took me a lot of work but I pulled together a team (i.e., made him more money). I confirmed the date and time with him. Made my reservations online and we were set. When we showed up we were not paired with our group 3 on 3 as indicated but our group was a team with another team(s). The kids were disappointed as they thought they would be with each other. No big deal. We sucked it up and played. The groups we were paired with changed throughout the day. We were paired with teams that liked to shoot and keep shooting rapid fire even after you were out. Nothing done to address this. We were also paired with teams who had much older members, including dads - which we were told they didn't do so we didn't have dads go. The team got slower and slower to go back out between games - probably because they were always shuffling who we were with. One time they were grouped with a team who had upgraded rapid fire guns. My daughter seemed to be the object of someone's desire and was continuously hit even after she was out. She even got hit walking back from a game. Someone had her number. My daughter addressed this with the referee. After 3 games out there - same situation, I addressed this with the referee and he thought it was taken care of. She had to quit because the behavior didn't stop. During the last game the kids were broken up and now permitted to play together. Not sure why as our group dwindled from 6 to 4 at that point. When I turned in the equipment of someone who had left for a baseball game it was not a big deal. When I tried to turn in the equipment of two girls who were hurt or sick, I was screamed at by the lovely ladies working registration. Then I was screamed at by the owner. He indicated that the kids had to turn in their equipment and no one could do it for them. I asked where these guidelines were posted so I would have know that and not been screamed at. He said they tell the kids, not the parents. They have a system that needs to be followed. I told him my daughter in not feeling well to which he replied, "neither am I." And he waked away. Wow!! He then came back ranting about how I shouldn't do everything for my kids. I explained how my daughter was repeatedly targeted and was now hurt and the other girl was sick. He screamed at me for not addressing this with him. I told him I did follow protocol and addressed it with the referee. He said its paintball, sometimes you get shot. Okay wise-guy..... I then reminded him that he told me the kids would be paired with each other 3 on 3 as he said and he did remember. He screamed "that was only if no one else showed up." He then said he was done talking to me and walked away. Yes, he can be nice, but he can snap on a dime. Watch out, we are dealing with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The referee was nice. He even apologized for my daughter getting pulverized. The kids did like the game, just not who they were paired with. read more

the staff is very nice ,he will help u when u have trouble about ur guns or equipments ,like one time I just get my new gun and bring is with me to play paintball in there ,my gun have some problem I cant fix it and then I ask them for help ,they are very nice and patient . they will clean every equipment before u rent and get it . second . the court is very nice ,you need have a strong body to run is it and find cover for u to fight ,and after u get shoot the staff will call out for u and protect u to leave the court to the safezone .Also the pizza they sell is pretty good ,awe will order that after we checked in every time and then after we play couple games back to the campsite the time around 12:30 the pizza will come .
