As a boy mom I love this place. My son is 14 and into airsofting. They have several fields and several games and he loves them all. I just set up my chair for the day and bring AirPods and a book. They spend most of the time out in the field which is such good exercise and gets out that aggressive side. My son leaves exhausted every time and just wants to eat and sleep the rest of the day. My son does have his own equipment but if you plan on going and don't make sure you call ahead of time to reserve gear because sometimes they sell out. read more

Connor and I went airsofting for the 2nd time. fun, less pain then a paintball. Went to my favorite place @oxhatfield.com/ in one of the pictures you can see in the left my pos plastic gun, that couldn't hit an elephant. On the right the gun that Rue a great employee of extreme outdoors Hatfield location took time to explain all the differences between the airsoft guns that they stock. Great experience and super fun but if you are to run into what I think was the game organizer (Fat guy with grey hair and beard) he screamed at little kids just trying to have fun I get the whole safety part but their is a certain way to go about things and yelling should be the absolute very last option if it's even an option at all, on top of that would also yell at his staff in front of all the guests which I found embarrassing on the staffs part. I would love to return but with a game organized/Ref or whoever was organizing the games that day needs to be fired immediately, try's to act professional in a paintball field by acting unprofessionally, absolute lack of self awareness, and a gross amount of arrogance especially for someone who is age 50+ and works at a paintball field. Also overheard him talk about another guest, something along the lines of "loud mouth asshole" which is very ironic. while also on the field he would give smart remarks that would be completely unnecessary considering his only job is to call people out moral of the story Love the place find a game organizer that can handle his job without showing a childish amount of disrespect amongst staff/customers. read more

This field is one of my favorite spots. I like the fact the parking is so close to the staging and the field. I hate when you have to drag your stuff 100 yards. This is close enough you can work from your car and be right by the bathroom air station and registration building. They have a few different types of maps. I like the turf field with the spools as well as the village field. House to house fighting is awesome. Pluses - it's super easy to get to, great parking, food on site, reasonable pricing. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful keeping games going. read more

The field itself is fun. I'm glad that I was a part of a large group because being an amateur, going against some of the regulars doesn't look like it would be fun. On a different note, there's no diversity in their staff. Also, none of the staff were wearing masks to protect us against Covid. However, when asked, they did put it on. I went here with a large group of friends because I found a great deal on Living Social ($30 for all-day entry and paintball gun rentals). All-in-all, I thought our experience here was okay. They had all of our rental equipment set up and waiting for us when we got there, which was great. The staff is a bunch of young kids, but they know what they're doing. After a quick orientation, safety message, and rules of the game, we were off and ready to play. It was pretty disorganized when it came to setting up for a new game. And why they would lump a bunch of amateurs (us) versus some avid paintballers (all in camo, I should add), I will never understand. (I definitely left with a few bruises after that game.) Towards the end of the day, the refs were just grouping everyone there to play together, so it was like 20 on 20, which I wasn't a fan of. Some of the playing fields are a hike to get to, but they were challenging and fun. I'd probably go here again if the Living Social deal popped up. Note: If you're going here, I suggest calling ahead and making a reservation. We got here when it opened on a Saturday morning and some people without reservations were told that they were all booked up and would have to wait for guns to become available. read more

This place is great. They have about 4 land fields and 3 close quarter fields. About 5 different game match types. They provide you with food and beverage. They have a air tank rental with FREE refills. They provide you with ammo and paintball masks and guns. Basically a one stop shop. They don't have any assault rifles for sale. Soory. I've forgotten to update this appropriately which is unfair. Few things to mention different from the previous posts: 1. Paint--after going there a number of times, I realized a few things: a-the paint they use is fairly brittle but that isn't to be confused to crap paint--if you know paintball, you'll know flatline barrels are a pain when it comes to paint; not really paints fault; my other markers have virtually no issue. b- generally speaking if anything the brittle paints tend to hurt less--at least that's been my experience so far (for first timers and beginners this can be seen as a plus. 2. at first the walking through the other fields seemed odd and downright annoying at first. Having been to other fields, you quickly realize that having the fields stacked like that can actually be a blessing. You don't have 15-20 minute treks from field to field, nor does it feel like a death march every time you need to get back to the staging area to reload/refill. 3. Another thing I should mention that seldom is mentioned is the general groups that go. I've gone probably a dozen times or so (so scratch what I said about not going anymore) and so far, though you may not regularly get amazing players, that's not a bad thing. The attitudes of the refs and most of the players that you find there are pretty chill and even at the beginner level you can have a good time, as they're not really out to slaughter you (refs tend to do a decent job and balancing teams. 4.The fact that you're not on set groups to stay with throughout the day like at skirmish can work in your favor (paired with the fact that the fields are close by) usually every 5-10 minutes you can hop in on a game so you can get your money's worth in terms of play time. I haven't been in there in a while due to the fact that it's still a bit farther out than I'd like, but it's really not that bad of a place to spend your weekends. TIPS: WEAR COMFORTABLE BOOTS (especially if there has been a storm within a few days of going). and expect to have your clothes trashed (but this isn't just specific to this field.) ALSO be sure to tip your Refs. I know, especially if you don't have your own gear, you probably already spent a pretty penny, but it's not like the refs have an easy job to do. They have food there, so I wouldn't be too worried about not packing food--the hot food there is better than cold soggy whatever-you-brought anyways. read more

Anyone who complains about this place is just looking for something to complain about. I took my 14 year old sister and we had a blast. We got a super cheap deal from groupon, but accidentally let it expire. The LVP staff honored it anyway, which was really awesome of them, they could have told us we were SOL. We were able to get into new games no less than 10 mins after the last ended. The fields are expansive and offer a good deal of variety. I can't think of a single complaint. My hat really goes off to the staff though. Super friendly and helpful from the cashier, to the refs, to the snack bar attendant. Will definitely return. read more

Overall, we had a really enjoyable time! I suggest if you're going to go and aren't an avid paintballer, get a Groupon deal which will cover the mask, gun, and ammo. You could get a few hours worth of the all day pass with the # of balls given. The fields were a bit stinky and wet, but it's paintball! You can't go if you're not expecting to get dirty! Matt (tall with glasses Matt) gave us our orientation and was thorough and very friendly. He had us pumped up! However, there were a few refs (in particular, the "head ref" who was telling the others what to do) who were downright rude and put a sour taste in my mouth! We were told the refs were going to be there "for our safety" and were "only looking out for us"...from a safety standpoint, they were accurate. However, the majority of the refs came across as ego-stroking guys who were disrespectful to one another (not the guests). There were MANY racist "jokes" and comments being thrown about as if we were all appreciating this behavior...it was a total turn off and quite obvious that others were uncomfortable too! If you're going to be a head ref and are there to have fun, by all means - have fun! don't put others down with your sarcastic passive aggressive statements - YOU come across as the ass! read more

Overall we had a great time. We were there as a group, kids and adults, most of whom had never played before. The refs were good, explained everything, made sure everyone knew the rules and were very helpful. Everyone had a great time. The only negative is Erika. While she is efficient she sure is not friendly. I told her we had never played before and there was no information was forthcoming. It was "look at the website". I had questions and she answered them but made it clear it was a bother to her. Plus, I don't know what I don't know and would have appreciated the "expert" volunteering information. I'm not a paintballer but my 12 year old son loves it so he dragged me along 6 months ago. The first thing I noticed was how helpful and friendly the staff were. Now I would expect that from a business owner but this level of professionalism was just as evident in the young guys refereeing the games. I just assumed it was a "good week" but every time I returned I witnessed the same experience. I work for a large multinational company and we get sent on very expensive customer service training courses....I'd sure like to know how LVP develop such respectfulness in their young employees for a weekend job. At this stage, I feel very comfortable allowing my son to spend the day there alone with his friends, knowing he's in good hands. To the other reviewer who witnessed something different to my experience, I would have recommended speaking to the owner. If that behavior truly occurred then I've no doubt they would have dealt with it very firmly. I've spoken with them on a number of occasions and they seem to genuinely want their customers to enjoy themselves. read more

I don't know why everyone is complaining about the staff of LVP. I think they are great, and make going to LVP fun! I went today with two of my friends it was really fun. They said it was amazing, and that they wanna come back. The best part about LVP is the fields. I know people keep saying that the fields are muddy and smell. Well I think they are amazing, and the mud doesn't bother me at all. My favorite field is the Alamo it's a great field and it is so much to play on! I went as a combination 4th anniversary celebration, and a birthday celebration for a friend. We had a great time; the refs were very helpful, even gave us advice on how to play better. My BF and I had a 1 vs 1 round when the field was slow, and when our main group opted for the larger course and we wanted the smaller course, others field guests were polite and invited us to join them. Been playing for years at some of the sloppiest fields to multiday scenerio games. I can fairly say OXH is one of the safest field I have ever played at. Fast turnaround on games and fair priced paint gets you the best bang for your buck. Several types of games so it doesn't get dull. Oxh and Oxcc are the only fields I feel safe taking my daughter too. Two things to remember wear boots amd never play with your mask on the field. read more

At first the place seems nice and family friendly. My friends and I walked in and were very excited. They explained the rules and said we have to keep our masks on the entire time on the field. I noticed though many of the reffs had pretty bad attitudes and were not very friendly. We played a private match and had a good time. After this first match I was probably a good ten feet from the door. I was getting very congested from the mask and it was very hard to see so I lifted it up a small bit to get some air when soon the ref with an attitude said to put the mask back on. I did and he took the gun and brought me to a guy who took all my equipment. I asked why and said I wasn't aloud to play any more because I took my mask off. I understand why they did this buy my problem was that the game ended, I was very congested, it was my first time plating, and I was 10 ft away from the arena exit. No matter what I said they always said no. They said u could be hit by a stray bullet even though the arena was enclosed by nets, weeds, and trees. They were very rude and didn't even give me warning. If you want to have a fun experience go somewhere where they give you a warning and are respectful to customers. I unfortunately was not able to have fun because they were being a**holes to a rookie who had no experience and was his first time paintballing. read more

Not a good time at all. Refs are not very friendly. We sat waiting for 15-20 min expecting a ref to take us to start but there wasn't any refs around. When I finally found a ref and asked him how we get started he was astonished that we hadn't played yet and continued to tell me how there should be other refs around to help but they were nowhere to be found. Then when we did get to play I was kicked out for lifting my face mask up after a game was over and we were on our way out to the rest area. No warning. I've been to other paintball places and they don't just throw you out for forgetting about leaving your mask down until you get to the rest area. . We also had paintballs stolen from our table in the rest area. I would recommend that you go somewhere else even if its a longer ride. read more

My experience with Outdoor Xtreme was a very pleasant one. I had a birthday party for my 12 year old daughter at their facility.The lady that runs the front office, Erika was extremely nice. She answered all my questions (and I had a ton as this was for a birthday party with all girls) and was courteous and polite. The games were run very well. Our two refs were Jude and Panda and the girls had so much fun with them. There was constant laughing and just a great time had by all. A great big thanks to Jude and Panda for making sure the girls had FUN but an extra special thanks to Erika for making the entire booking experience so easy. I came about a week ago with a group of friends and this was by far the best paintball experience I have ever had. First we walked into the store to be checked in only to be greeted by a long line of people who was only being helped by one lady. Even though that took a little long, after we checked in and got our equipment it was smooth sailing from then on. The staff in the shop were very helpful and answered all of my newbie questions without hesitation. To be honest I was a little nervous about playing with other people outside of my group, but as we walked up to the staging area, a referee by the name of Austin made me feel that there was nothing to fear and he made sure that we knew the rules. He was very helpful and informative throughout the day. The one key rule that i can still remember is keep the mask over your face on the fields! If the referees do catch you lifting your mask at any point on the fields, you are done playing for the day! However this rule is only meant to keep people safe and besides nobody wants to lose an eye. Also a referee named Billy gave me some helpful tips on how to play well. Communicate, Communicate, Communicate! The staff overall was a bunch of teenagers, but surprisingly, they were very attentive and helpful during and after games. All in all, my day at Lehigh valley paintball was very fun and it made me realize how out of shape I am. It was well worth the $65 I spent for a day filled with fun. Everything was great and I will definitely be coming back to play and hopeful will become better. BE AWARE THAT THE REFEREES ENFORCE THE MASK RULE HEAVILY! read more

A great place to go if you'd like your kid to COME HOME IN TEARS. My 13-year-old waited for weeks to go with a group of his friends and was super excited about it. After just a few minutes of play, he was called for a face mask violation when he had a problem with his mask. (He's a kid who follows the rules, so it was not a deliberate act.) Instead of helping him correct the issue, they threw him and his friends out. Even after intervention from their adult chaperone, they refused to allow them to re-enter at all and told them they could have a voucher to come back another day. I fully appreciate the importance of safety, but the attitude demonstrated was very un-kid friendly. They could care less that they left a group of kids completely heartbroken. At this point, they never want to go back so the voucher is useless to us. read more
