came here to paintball for the first time with some of my sister's friends. there were 14 of us…read moretotal. we came an hour before our reservation to get our gear and to get settled before we started from 11-2pm. our guide/ref was pretty good - attentive and well versed in all the different games/activities we can do. the rules were pretty easy and overall, we had a good amount of fun. for 3 hours of paintballing with gear and paintballs, it was about $60/person . definitely wear clothes you don't care about as you will get dirty/muddy and paint. try to layer up if you don't want to get too bruised up hahha. overall, i had fun! not too sure if it's my "thing" though haha

They weren't open yet when we arrived, so we waited 15 minutes for them to prep the courses. There are picnic tables and port-a-potties available for use at the entrance. One of the employees got us all checked in and provided gloves, which were free since the tickets were purchased via Groupon. You can choose from small, medium, large or extra large sizes. We stood on the deck and got our harnesses on and tightened by an employee. He went over some safety rules and we completed a trial course to ensure we understood the procedures for zip lining. Once he cleared us, we were free to navigate the park on our own! We started with course 2, then we moved on to course 4. After that we completed course 3 and finally course 1. Some of the courses were challenging but all of them were equally fun. It was a gloomy day so it wasn't busy and we felt like we could take our time completing each obstacle. The zip lining was especially thrilling and the harness is comfortable enough where you don't feel any pressure in your thighs. Treetop Quest was a blast and I hope to be back in the summer months!

They had about 8 people on staff for a Saturday. They advertised the grinch who came out for five minutes and we never saw him again. The kids were roller skating the wrong way. It was just mayhem. The party is area is right at the entrance and we couldn't get through. The music was NOT appropriate music for younger kids. It was terrible. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Yuck

This was his first time trying archery, and my first time since I was a Girl Scout so my first time too LOL. Anywho, our instructor Berny was very knowledgeable and intentional about providing us with a safe, yet, enjoyable experience. Date night classes can fill up to 8 guest total--however there was only one other couple there when we went so it was still pretty intimate. They also offer complimentary refreshments which was nice because I love me some chai tea lol. Also, since doing this class we both now qualify for open range since we've been through the safety protocols and have an idea of how to shoot an arrow now. Can't wait to come back and practice what I learned--Definitely a fun sport, but also a great survival skill to have.

I don't blame the bartender -- she was clearly doing her best and working hard to keep up. However, another employee came over and instead of asking who was next, he chose a couple of people to help and then walked away, which was frustrating. I understand that Fridays can be busy, especially with lots of reservations, but better staffing or having a manager step in to help during peak times would make a big difference. The food and drinks were just ok. Overall, the games were the highlight, but the service and food experience could definitely be improved.

We went while in town for my son's birthday (out of state). Amid the "boring history stuff" this…read morewas the one thing he really wanted to do. We had four athletes and a computer programmer. We all do escape rooms regularly, including the kids. We've only not made it out of maybe one or two escape rooms so this is right up our alley. We booked in advance and didn't have to wait long like others have stated, so that was great. It was pretty empty for a weekend afternoon. There was one birthday party going on. A lot of employees hanging out but not surprised because it wasn't busy. Our game hostess was fine. Just told us that the screens would tell us what to do and don't move to the next room until the room you're in tells you to (because there was a party in front of us). Also the doors aren't locked so feel free to leave anytime, but the clock won't stop. She also told us to take absolutely everything on us and put it in a locker. Told us she "highly recommended" that we took nothing with us in the game rooms. Again, really common for escape rooms because they don't want you to give it away or take photos. Made sense. It took us at least two tries on each game in each room to understand what we were supposed to do, which wasted time. The instructions weren't amazing, but we figured it was supposed to be hard so didn't think that was complaint-worthy initially. Got to level 8 or so on most rooms, not much higher. Nothing to compare it to since there's nothing like this near us. Screen kept saying we were doing "alright". The room we thought we did the best in said we did "abysmal". Eh, okay, all part of the gag we thought. Maybe no one gets "great" or "nice work". Then we got to the laser room where things went downhill. The screens were supposed to let you switch the laser pattern, but only one screen on one side worked. We did our best and still tried to make the best of it. All in the name of having fun for my son's bday. At the end of the laser room a 10 minute countdown started and a voice said "feel free to take photos while you wait for the next room", which would have been amazing if we weren't encouraged to put them in a locker at the start of the games!!! Waiting for the bomb (foam) in the hallway and are the only team on the screen that chose foam when our team's name disappears from the list. The team in front of us goes ahead and I notice our team name is on their video screen and they are playing as us with our remaining bomb time. And they are going to get foam, not what they actually chose. I flag down a worker and he starts running around to his coworkers who are all chuckling at the mistake, not sincerely worried at all about giving the team already in the bomb room the wrong experience or the wrong amount of time. They got foam - and I don't think they got to do it again. I would not have been happy, but that's up to them to talk to the staff about. The worker then tells us he THINKS he can get us the foam we asked for but that he doesn't know how much time we had on the bomb, so we needed to give him a number. He also says we might have to email for our photos/video since the team before us will be attached to our team name. He tells us that his coworker was supposed to check the team's bands before us to confirm who they were and their bomb type, but forgot. Meantime, the workers behind him continue to be completely unconcerned and are chatting and laughing about it, hanging out, no big deal. No apologies, no concern over the screw up. That was disappointing. We get into our bomb room and everything is covered in slime including the controllers we need to use. We get our controllers and the whole thing shuts down. Computer .exe error. They get it back up and running pretty quickly and we realize as we start to play that at least two of the controllers aren't doing anything. Foam starts to come out before the bomb even goes off and at least one mask fails and we can't even see to finish the game (we were at five completed when this started). I ended up having to just take off my mask and turn around because foam is covering my mouth and I can't breathe. Photos and videos are terrible and we got someone else's video because they went under our team name. I hope they got their stuff eventually! The manager fixed it to our satisfaction, which is why I'm giving it three stars. He asked if we were staying to do other games, but didn't even know that was included or an option, so better communication too would have been great. I wish we could go back and try again to give it another chance, but there isn't one within four states of us. Hoping everyone else has a good experience because this could be amazing! We found another fun experience to finish the birthday and honestly believe you should give this a chance. Leaving this review more for the manager and staff so they know where it all went wrong.

We love Tarken! It's neat and clean, never super crowded and best of all, they don't tolerate any…read morenonsense! The workers are friendly, helpful, and courteous with all our needs and questions. My daughter attended their ice skating lessons last year and the teacher was so patient and caring. It's a great thing to do with your kids. We laugh the entire time we're there. Oh, and the little snack stand is always stocked and very reasonably priced. Great place to spend some time with the family.
