The food is amazing here! Everything that I have ordered so far has been authentic and delicious I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Cada que se me antojan platillos caseros y faltan las ganas de cocinar, vamos a Poco's. El pozole está riquísimo y auténtico, el servicio es muy atento y el ambiente súper familiar. ¡Siempre quedamos contentos!

My mom was looking for a authentic Mexican restaurant that made cocido soup, and we searched on Yelp and found Poco's. It's a very popular place and well known in the community with a lot of patrons coming. The food was quite delicious and reasonable with very good quality. I ordered the guacamole, and fish ceviche and it was to my liking. The fish was very fresh and seasoned well. Also, the salsa and chips are good you just may want to add a tiny bit of salt but it still was solid and chunky just how I like it. The guacamole was also good without the tomatoes and chunky like I like it! My mom definitely recommends the cocido soup with the half beans and rice as the side. She said her food was very tasty and the beans were soft and good for her taste buds. The ambience is not modern or updated, but it's decent. The service was ok the waitress only spoke Spanish, but her other colleagues helped her out to understand the order. Later on more workers came that did know English so it made the experience better. Overall, they were all pleasant. I will be back to try more food for sure! They have a menu with so much! No complaints with the food either. They have a parking lot where you can park.

If you're looking for well seasoned seafood this place might not be for you. We went here on a Sunday around noon and we ordered a campechana and camarones a la plancha and neither plate had much flavor. We paid $55 for the 2 orders previously mentioned and 2 fountain cokes. The inside of the restaurant is festive and not too loud. The service was attentive. There was plenty of parking in front of the restaurant.

Service sucks. Shrimp camarone has a sweetness to it, not to my liking...pass next time.

Paris, our server, was an absolute ray of sunshine. We decided to share a variety of dishes, which turned out to be the perfect way to experience the menu. I don't eat meat, but my fellow diners could not stop talking about the Braised Short Rib Rolled Lasagna. The Lemon Gnocchi was light and delicate, the beet salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, and the Crispy Squash Blossoms stuffed with ratatouille were absolutely delicious. The Cold Hamachi Aguachile was probably the most interesting dish of the night. It's almost like a fish snow cone, which sounds odd until you try it. My mom would call it "moreish" because every bite makes you want another. The Jumbo Prawns à la Plancha were also excellent. But the standout for me was the Eggplant Parmesan. It was completely over the top in the best possible way. If you told me to come back and order nothing but the eggplant and a martini, I'd happily call that dinner. What really stood out beyond the food was the pacing. Dishes arrived at just the right rhythm, the cocktails were excellent, and the playlist somehow added to the atmosphere without competing with the conversation. I took photos of everything, which should tell you how beautiful the food was, but the best part was simply having a genuinely fun evening with friends. Great food, great service, and a restaurant I'll absolutely be back to.

This is our new go-to weekly place!…read more On our first visit, we were greeted by Chef David. He checked us in and offered cocktails while we waited for our table. The layout is intentional and cozy. They have outside seating with heating. On busy nights, the noise level is high. It is hard to have a convo. I would recommend getting the outside seating for this because it is more intimate. Surprisingly, on our 2 visits, we got same server and she took care of us really well. Food is phenomenal! I am slightly disappointed with my cod as it didn't have the glazed sear I was hoping for. All of our orders on 2 visits were picture perfect and seasoned well. We will definitely be back and try a different dish. I am also glad that they have a seasonal menu.
