I would love to give this place five stars. Customer service is always excellent and the food is usually pretty good. We haven't been for a couple months and we tried it again. The wings were overcooked, the calzone was overcooked on the top. He was just very disappointing that everything's been overcooked and we paid about $50 which was a pretty good price. The pizzas here are the best I've found in Lake County. I say that because they don't skimp on toppings and are always made to your liking. Such as well done or double crust. I particularly like how thick the fresh mushrooms are sliced and that they have pepperoncini's on the item menu. Restrooms are super clean. That's a plus. Best pizza in lake county! We drive an extra 20 mins from HVL, because that one place we have close by isn't that great. Pizza comes out hot, toppings are plentiful and fresh. Ask for your pizza crispy, much better that way. They nickeled and dimed me for some ranch last time we came through, but I guess whatever it takes to stay open in todays economy. The pizza gets 10 stars. I can only imagine howmuch better it would have been if we got it right out of the oven. We arrived at about 5pm, stood in line and waited while the cashier did about 3 people's job. She was taking phone orders, new orders, pickup orders, and more. A few people left. Well, after I ordered and we waited for an hour I finally went up to ask how much longer. Turns out our pizzas WERE done, the gal apologized, said she didn't have a ticket that our order was for here. The manager or owner should get things organized to run smoother. My son waited in line for 15 minutes just to get another drink. If this issue is due to a shortage of staff, the owner needs to be here to help as long as it takes. While working in the area, we decided to stop in here a total of 8 different time in 1 month. I never had a bad pizza here, once they burnt the crust, but then gave us a free one to replace the one they burnt. Shawn/Sean the owner is a pretty awesome guy, hes a joker and i'm glad he was super cool towards us. I think its cool when the owner interacts with customers plus he always remembered what we ordered. The salad bar was always fresh, and when there salad bar was down for repair, they lady working there, made us a huge awesome salad. I honestly cant wait to go back for lunch read more

My wife and I discovered Pogo's in the Riviera the evening we moved into the Riv in February 2014. We have been regulars ever since. We love their pizza. They do get very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, so if you are calling in an order, you must be patient and persistent. Your wait will be well worth it. read more
