So sad how bad Pogos has become. New owners? and all quality is gone!! Been an avid customer over 10 years and it is so disappointing. They have downgraded the ingredients(icky sausage, black olive stripes unrecognizable and tasteless) same menu and prices, but no comparison in quality. So sad, don't bother, it was really awful! Loved the lil mom and pop shop which had amazing pepperoni pizza and friendly service. It has a lot of variety in their menu but i could smell hot melting cheese so i couldnt resist ordering a pizza for us. We went with a medium size and it filled both of us for our early dinner at 6 pm :) True value for menu and super fresh!! Must try! I definitely recommend taking a box and sitting by the clear lake 1 block down (2 mins downhill walk) and watch the sunset while biting into hot melting cheese and top quality toppings. In $14, we got a medium pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and jalapeno. Quick tip: check out their yummy home made red sauce :) coz it was delish! Pizza today was delicious. Our pizza had plenty of cheese and toppings. Cooked just how we like it with the bottom having a nice crispy crunch. Not soggy or chewy. The sauce is great too. We also had the cheesy garlic bread. Also very good with fresh garlic. Our third time coming to Pogo's. Would have given a 5 & 3 stars for the other visits. read more

On a rainy football Sunday had a hankerin for pizza. Ordered online and picked up with great service 30 min later. Usually don't expect an amazing g experience but Pogos Lakeport delivered! Ordered two large specialty pizzas, each under $27 - both were LOADED with fresh tasty toppings! Meat combo pizza and Veggie delight - both were outstanding either way plenty of cheese and goodies and the crust was perfect thickness and crispy bottom. The menu is quite large and the prices are reasonable. The garlic bread was very generously covered with garlic, more generously than other places. The pizzas are good. For what I paid, I was overwhelmed. The pizza was good - crispy crust with a lot of toppings. Wings were decent, but for the price I'm certainly not complaining. I have now been to all three of the Pogo's Pizza restaurants. Far and away, the Pogo's on Main Street in downtown Kelseyville is my favorite. I always order the Combination and I've yet to be let down. The service is friendly and better than one would expect at a pizza parlor. Sometimes it can take a while (especially holidays and weekends and football nights and lunch and ... just have some patience, enjoy visiting with the people and don't be in a rush ... it's definitely worth the wait. Also, there is plenty of convenient outdoor seating if you're into al fresco dining. If you're in a hurry? Call ahead. This is the best consistently great pizza in Lake County! P.S. We love Pogos pizza It is so delicious!! It is very busy so sometimes you just need to stop by to order. Great red sauce, also white sauce. We love # 1 with meats and all the good stuff! I ordered a gluten free sausage pizza. It cost $3 bucks extra for the crust but that's ok. My problem is I got a small, one topping pizza that cost me over $15 and look at that "topping"! First I would like to say the food is amazing no complaints with the food quality. What I am worried about is the lack of customer service. I do not believe the customer is always right but this employee is very rude . We purchased our pizza with a appetizer. We were told they were very busy witch we understood and had no problem with the wait . We received our pizza about 45 minutes later and never received our side order appetizer and we reminded them once we got our pizza . The response was that they had forgotten about the appetizer and would start making it . The appetizer never came after about another 20 minutes and we had already had our fill of pizza . My wife went inside and waited in line to ask for a refund due to never receiving the appetizer. Once my wife got to the front the employee was very rude to my wife and had her step to the side to help the other customers behind her saying that the refund would take to much time . Considering it was about 7$ that shouldn't have been a issue . We do not care that we did not receive the appetizer but that the employee has such a bad way with customers. At the end we got our refund and they did give us the appetizer as we left . I dont want to hurt the company as i do believe they are amazing but this particular employee i have delt with before and is just rude and has very little ability to deal with customers. read more

Ordered a med combo. Came all the way from Nice to pick it up. Got home, opened the box and there were no olives on the pizza and very little veges. If it did not have mushrooms I would have thought they made the meat lovers pizza. I love Pogos pizza, great crust and flavor, but this was disappointing. I will check the pizza in the future before leaving ,you should too because I heard this has happened before. I hope management addresses this. read more

Went there for late lunch during the Dicken's Fair. Enjoyed a gluten free pizza. It was very good and enjoyed it. Would visit again.
