Literally walked into their garage with a tire and a nail lodged in it. Rather than using it as an excuse to sell me a tire (which I said I needed), they told me they could repair it for a fraction of the price. And they did. Within 30 minutes of me entering their garage, they removed the nail, repaired the tire, put it back on my car (and removed the donut), and filled ALL of my tires to the recommended PSI. I don't live in Hagerstown, but if I did, this is the only garage I would go to. Honest mechanics with honest prices. If you live in or near Hagerstown, do yourself a favor and GO HERE.

I called complete car Care talk to Eric he told me to bring it in so I got there before he was getting ready to close and explain the situation to him, so he told me to bring it back the next day and I did first thing the next day. He took it for a test drive with me and explained everything on what it was doing and what it could be. He looked at it and found out I needed a starter and carburetor cleaned and some other things had to be done he was very thorough on what it was and what had to be done. There was some things that had to be fixed but I didn't have the time, I had to get on the road back to Pittsburgh PA. But I am thankful he got me back on the road where I can handle the hills better and make it back. If I had more time I would have let him complete everything. He is a very good mechanic. I could not put that in my 23 year old Honda even though it only has 138,000 miles and I bought it new with 8 miles on it! Jim, at AAMCO, was very patient and listened closely to my concerns and I left it there one day and got it back the next day. They drove it and checked it over and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and the car drives beautifully. If it ever shows an engine light or blinking green light around "D" I will immediately take it back to Jim and his team at AAMCO. I would give 10 stars if it was available. Do not hesitate to give this AAMCO a try. Honest, concerned about your vehicle, and prompt service.

I purchased a Toyota Tacoma from a friend who had Aamco install a new transmission on 12/29/16…read more $4,738.00. February 12, 2020 the truck was dropped off at Aamco because of some noise that seemed to be coming from the transmission. The transmission has less than 19,000 normal miles on it, it wasn't used to pull a trailer, or loaded heavy. Aamco's estimate for the repair was $3600! I have the warranty 36 months/50,000 miles. They made no effort to contact their supplier in an attempt to make a case for what is obviously a poorly remanufactured transmission, for that matter there were no alternatives offered except the repair. The new transmission was the primary reason I purchased the truck, engine runs flawlessly. The review guidelines would not allow a 1 star rating. A $4738 transmission got me 19,630 miles. You can decide if you want to take your vehicle there.
