I left D&J a voicemail at 4:30 on a Friday night to get a second opinion. He called me back within 15 minutes and explained all of my options better than the other shop and the car insurance company combined. Then, on Monday, once I had seen the car and taken pictures, he gave me a $100 solution to what the other company wanted $3300 for (and should have seen in the first estimate) and said another piece they claimed needed to be fixed was structurally sound. He offered to work with me to get secondhand parts to fit within my budget if I chose to salvage the car or drop the insurance claim- and I never paid him a dime for his services! I wish I would have taken our car to D&J instead of going through insurance and the other company. They are honest, communicative and truly have the customer's best interests in mind!

I went the next day to get several belongings out of my vehicle. I spoke with Mike (owner) and asked him if my vehicle was totaled. (It was pretty close to being totaled). He laughed and said it was no where near being totaled, and it was only about 5,000 worth of damage. I used to work at a car dealership, I know how a body shop works. They don't want it to be totaled, no money in their pocket. I immediately called Bill's Auto Body and had my vehicle removed from Mike's and towed to Bill's. They did an estimate for 10,545.43. And it only needs to be 11,500 to be totaled. So YES, it was in fact very close to being totaled. Bill's were absolutely amazing to me!

He assured me the service department would call and confirm the part was in. 48 hours later no call. I called the part isn't in. I called to cancel the service appointment. The woman that answered my call was surly and unapologetic that I was about to take an hour trip to have work done at their shop and that they didn't have the part and wouldn't be able to perform the scheduled repair. No apology. No let me see what went wrong. Just well sucks to be you! I will never return there for service and I'll tell a friend that was considering buying a Mazda to look elsewhere. BTW I have purchased 3, not 1 Not 2 but 3 cars from them and this is the treatment you can expect.

Dennis, the Salesperson reached out to me over email and after couple of days, I also got a Follow Up from the Manager asking whether they met my expectations. I responded back asking for on the road price for few trims I was interested in and to my surprise they responded back with a no BS MSRP and OTR price. Dennis was quite frank about inventories and not once was pushy during the whole process. There are two things I noticed in the current market why I would rate this dealer above 5 stars. Transparency (accurate inventory and upfront price) and Promptness. Many folks tried to get a deposit out of me for a car that may not deliver in few months! Anyways, I got the price on Tuesday and set an appointment for Thursday. Dennis was keeping tabs with me over email even in his day off on Wednesday and when I couldn't immediately reach him, I got a call back from his manager John willing to answer my questions!! John assured me that the price they quoted will be the price I will walk out with. On the day of purchase, I drove 70 miles and my friend gave me a ride. The whole process took only couple of hours. Dennis gave me thorough walkthrough and setup of the vehicle, pretty much proving me a VIP experience. He went through the phone setup for MyMazda and showed me how to start the car remotely etc and gave a demo of the safety features, calibrating sound etc., he was truly knowledgeable and experienced! Finally, I was sent to Finance and Louis did a phenomenal job in showing the numbers, whiteboarding it so I can understand easily. He was able to pull my credit, negotiate better rates and had it all ready by the time I went there. I would go back and buy another car here just to have this great car buying experience.

After my car was towed to their shop, the owner's wife went above-and-beyond, driving me to Letterkenny to pick up my friend so she wasn't stranded after her interview....Turns out I needed a fuel pump, so the guys had to order the part. Having checked parts pricing, I know these guys gave me a fair price. I really appreciate how they explained what they were doing and called for my okay before making repairs when the part I needed ended up costing more than they initially were told it would cost by their supplier. These guys really went above and beyond. I recommend them highly, as I believe them to be capable, honest and easy to work with!
