amazing pickleball and tennis facility in port washington! i've come here to play both sports…read morenumerous times - the facility is extremely clean and well maintained as they have so many pickleball and tennis courts. for the tennis courts they have both hard courts and then green clay courts, which are always in top conditions. they offer various clinics, programs, and tournaments for both sports - i love attending the zone tennis and up/down pickleball on sundays. the staff is very friendly and their memberships are very reasonable. even if you want to rent a court to hit for an hour or two, very fair pricing.

My son was completely cheated out of a match that we paid for. The line judge consistently favored his opponent. When my son challenged calls, they were almost always ruled against him. When his opponent challenged calls, they were routinely given in his favor. The inconsistency was blatant. What made this even more concerning was that at the very beginning of the match, my son's opponent was walking side-by-side with the line judge, talking to him and even touching him. It was very clear they knew each other and that the opponent likely attends the school. That alone created the appearance of bias and the officiating only reinforced it. After the match, I asked the line judge to explain some of the calls. He had no reasoning and admitted he did not even see at least one of the balls he ruled on. That is unacceptable in a paid tournament setting. To make matters worse, the front desk was extremely uncooperative. At the conclusion of the match, the front desk staff member even escalated the situation by asking both players if there was "outside interference from parents," despite already having spoken to us, the adults. It was an attempt to shift blame rather than address the clear officiating issue. We understand that calls can be missed, that's part of sports. What is not acceptable is consistent bias and a complete lack of accountability. We expect fairness and professionalism when paying for organized competition. That absolutely was not the case here.

They also have pickle ball options too! If you need a new wardrobe this summer, this is the place to go. They have a variety of styles for men, women, and kids. One of my friends had a bad experience recently and I'm glad the owners took her experience into consideration and addressed the issue pertaining that specific employee. Looking forward to seeing how this place continues to grow and improve. Love the majority of the courts here especially their newer ones court 11&12. It has a little more privacy and prevents balls from flying all over into other peoples courts and vice versa. Some courts especially court 2 is less desirable in my opinion, it's dark and hard to focus or see the ball. Some courts do have water dripping from ceiling during rainy/ snowy days but it's not significant enough to become a hazard. Appreciate that they now have 24 hour options available. All of their staff are amazing except the one senile old guy, he's just miserable. (IYKYK) We come here regularly and seeing him just ruins your day/mood. Overall good courts with no dead bounces, adequate overhead space and lighting and clean bathrooms. There's parking to the side of the building (across the street) and in the back, however on snowy days it is a dangerous trek.

Open play was a little confusing at first but people there will let you know how the randomized teaming-up works so it prevents a "dominant team" from playing together the whole time. In addition to the facility having everything you would want in terms of pickleball courts, what makes the open plays really fun is the crowd. Everyone was really friendly and there was no negative body language no matter what the score is, who your partner was, or who the opponents were. Everyone was there to play some pickleball and have a good time.

They have multiple courts for badminton as well as ping pong. It's set in a large warehouse and is only a few blocks away from the main square. They also have a shop for rackets and clothing apparel as well as a stringing service. They are also one of the few places I've gone to with heating however it can get too hot sometimes on the courts. I've never gone during peak times but there hasn't been a time where I had to wait to get onto a court.
