Sleazy sales practices and inaction regarding the pandemic…read more I would rate my experience with Regus a zero, but I can't rate it any less. 1. Uncaring: I signed a contract in February. The pandemic happened in March. I followed state mandates to work at home, and stay at home, yet Regus charged me as if I'm still supposed to use their facilities. 2. Working with people who play dumb: I checked my documentation and there is a charge on the invoice about beverages and coffee that I never signed up for. I sent an email to the sales guy, who forwarded my email to the front desk people, who gave me an 800 number to call, who emailed me stating, "Sorry, you're SOL. You have to pay this charge." 3. No communication: I sent a screenshot of the actual contract I signed, explaining there is nowhere in this screenshot that I ever signed up for it. I received a "We'll get back to you. We're working on it. Please bear in mind that we are working through a pandemic and we are getting to emails as fast as we can." I never heard from them at all. 3. Sleazy sales practices: I didn't receive any explanation or rationale for additional charges I didn't sign up for from their sleazy salesman. I was forwarded a link, showing my monthly rate, and he automatically signed me up for other random charges. 4. All forms of institutions, big or small, profit or nonprofit, offered some form of assistance during the pandemic. My mortgage company offered forbearance terms where I didn't have to make any payments since March. My kid's school district waived summer and fall registration fees. The gym I use extended my membership for every month the pandemic has been going on without any additional fees. Yet Regus did not step up to the plate whatsoever. There was no offer of any form of assistance. I only received two emails. The first being they have sanitizing liquids in their offices, and a second email wondering why I didn't extend my contract. Duh! Regus already had somebody signed up, yet they are wondering why I would remain with them?!?!?!?

I am extraordinarily disappointed with Regus as a company at this time. I called to pause my…read moremembership due to the Illinois governor's mandate, and I was told that Regus is refusing to pause any membership, including co-working memberships. I will be flagging Regus as a fraudulent charge through my credit card company when they try to charge me $99.90 for the month of April, and if you have a co-working membership that you'd like to pause, I urge you to do the same.
