Nice casual little place tucked away in a strip off a main road. The menu board is easy to read, and they have check off sheets for the poke bowls to make the ordering simple and streamlined. This place is still really great!! I made my own poke bowl, and it was alright -- I ended up adding too many ingredients because I was overzealous about trying different items in it. I got shrimp, which was fresh and tasty. My friends all enjoyed their orders (ramen, sushi, poke bowls, bubble tea). There is free water and the restaurant is always clean. We went there fairly late on a week night and there was only one other group, but the restaurant felt lively and had a great energy because of the chatting workers and their positive demeanors. It was my friend's birthday and one woman (who I believe might be one of the owners) brought us a complimentary tiramisu cake with around 10 square slices, which ended up being two slices per person in my party. I really loved this and found it extremely nice. There are a lot of sushi options in Hagerstown, but I definitely think this one is the best! read more

When we heard the folks from Wasabi opened a new restaurant, of course we had to try it!! Wow!! It is just so good!! It's located in an older strip mall near Hagerstown Community College. Don't let the outside turn you away... the inside is super new & clean. We ordered a California roll, spicy crunchy crab & spicy crunch tuna. All were served very cold & tasted great. We also ordered the gyoza and the Pork Ramen Soup and the Tofu Ramen Soup, both with House soup. Delicious!! My husband said he may have a new favorite restaurant in Hagerstown!! Went there based on the menu that shows cook salmon and other fish on there menu. After letting them know I have dietary requirements, they basically refused to offer me the cooked fish they had on the menu and insisted they didn't have that, even though I was looking right at the menu item right behind them. Was very excited to try this place last night and I was not disappointed. I had a spicy salmon and spicy tuna poke bowl which was phenomenal. It was easily the best poke bowl I've ever had. It was so fresh, had a wide variety of choices of toppings and was a huge portion for only $12.99. My fiancé got the Spicy pork ramen which was also delicious and the perfect spice level. After we received our food someone (I think the owner) came out to check with him that it was spicy enough and offered more spice if necessary which was a nice touch. We ordered a seaweed salad to share which was also delicious and an appetizer that was jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and spicy tuna and I'd 100% order everything again. Topped it off with a Thai milk tea and a strawberry fruit tea and I already can't wait to go back. Customer service was top notch. Restaurant was very clean and food was delicious and well priced. I ordered robin roll, chicken ramen, and original bubble milk tea. Everything was awesome. However I did order and pay for extra egg and got one egg. They put all the side sauce (wasabi, spicy yum yum..I think, and some type of sweetened soy based sauce) all in one side cup which was bizarre to me. I don't like wasabi or at least only in tiny amounts so this isn't a very practical way to offer condiments to go. Everything tasted yummy and staff was super friendly. read more

Visiting the area and we noticed Poke & Sushi on our wat to HCC. We decided to order carryout on the way back to our hotel. The eat-in area was casual and nice. The staff is super friendly. Everything was delicious. I had the tuna combo (8 pieces tuna sushi and a spicy tuna roll). The tuna was of good quality (you know what I mean). The spicy roll had some flakes and sesame on the sides. Very flavorful. Next time we're in the area, we know where we'll be eating. read more

Went for another taste. Tried the sharsiu miso ramen bowl. The flavor was not over powering, good for miso. Can be to salty. The noodle nicely cooked. The pork was superb. Nice dark char on outside, with really melt in your mouth chew. The poke bowl was ful, flavorable and no puddle of sauce. The avocado, tuna heart shape sushi, also nice. Our son brought home food from Poke and Sushi and said "This is better than your usual place". We walked in for the first time last night and found old friends, the previous owners of our " usual place". Oh my gosh, how I missed quality sushi! Everything we had, spring rolls, shrimp shumai, fire roll, poke bowl and ramen soup was excellent. Ordered way too much, but convenient packaging encouraged us to enjoy another meal for lunch. Found this hidden gem by scrolling yelp for new restaurants. The dining area is clean and uncluttered. The chef's station is also clean and organized. Since raw ingredients are involved, I wanted to see the overall cleanliness of the place before ordering. I ordered a poke bowl with a sushi roll. My husband ordered a poke bowl, shu mai, and miso soup. The food came out in to go containers, which is very convenient for leftovers. Both our poke bowls were filled with colorful fresh ingredients that we selected off the order sheet. Everything tasted fresh and the sauces we selected complimented the ingredients. I was definitely impressed. The sushi roll was also good and fresh. The miso soup was piping hot and tasted like it should. Sometimes the miso soup flavor in other restaurants are a little off, too salty, or too bland. The shu mai tasted like shu mai,lol, nothing much to say except it was good. Overall, I was very satisfied with our meal and look forward to trying other poke bowl combos. read more
