I heard a lot about this particular genre of food. I was not familiar with Poke' at all. Strangely enough, I enjoy sushi Immensely but had never tried this Native Hawaiian cuisine. There is a first time for everything and, for the life of me I can't figure out what in the world took me soooooo long to indulge in this delightfully delicious Hawaiian dish. This incredible combination of perfectly balanced proteins and carbs is a wonderful contribution to the sun city. My palate was delightfully surprised by the introduction of raw marinated cubed fish layered up with a satisfying serving of sticky rice, seasoned to perfection and served in a bowl. The spicy tuna platter with the kale noddles and brown rice was exceptional. I must go back this weekend to explore what more they have to offer. I have become an instant fiend, OMG yum yum!

Small with brown rice, ahi tuna and salmon, lots of vegetables, avocado, crispy garlic and onions, double cucumber salad.

Poke on the Eastside! Finally! I've been here 3 times and have had a pleasant experience every time. The employees didn't rush me, the music was at a nice volume, and the place was clean. They have a great variety of proteins and toppings (please add kimchi!), but I wish they had a better selection of sauce. I'd love to see sesame oil and garlic chili oil! A minor annoyance is the plating, the rice is a scoop separated from everything, which makes it hard to get rice in every bite and/or mix it all together (which I am a fan of). I can't complain too much because it's quick, convenient (I don't have to drive over to the Westside of town to get poké) and healthier than most other options in that area.

Build Your Own Medium Poke Bowl. white rice, spicy tuna, tofu, shrimp cucumber salad, fried onions, fried garlic. Sweet chili sauce.

Poke-lisous. I had a medium 1.5 scoop white rice and 3 proteins. I had the spicy tuna, shrimp, tofu with white rice, some fried onions and fried garlic for some crunchy texture. Definitely the best place on this side of town if you don't wanna drive 20+ minutes anywhere else. If I could afford it I'd come here on a daily basis for a post workout meal. Only downside is they could use more sauce variety. I suggest chili oil (easy to make), sesame oil, soy sauce. Other than that I don't have anything to complain about. Usually I'm a large bowl plus one more type of guy but I had a small appetite tonight.

POKE IS LIFE!!!! I…read moreremember the first time i ever had poke, and it was life altering. I always liked eating the occasional sashimi here and there, but it wasnt until a few years ago that i discovered the magnificence that is poke! Sadly because of that particular spot of eureka, i still consider to be superior above all else and set the rest of them below. This place is good tho. I love their bowl sizes that can vary so that i dont have to waste anything or overeat, which is usually the case lol. So i was able to get a small portion of 3 meats, which was tuna, spicy tuna, and shrimp. I absolutely ADORE tuna so i usually cant resist its chunky, hearty goodness. I also enjoy a good spring mix/kale base for my poke to be as healthy as possible. And im an absolute sucker for mango and edamame when it comes to pairing sashimi type cuts. So i threw that in, plus avocado, plus fried onions. Dont judge me! I know that is crap but i love onions! Lol Didnt have their poke 3 dressing of all things tho. So that was kind of a let down. I settled for their citrus ponzu which was good. Super fast and super friendly staff! Not to bad of a price for 3 protein choices so im extremely happy when they make sure not to skim their scoops of protein with that baby sized spoon of theirs they call a scooper lol

However, on the menu, it says two poke scoops for the number I got, but the scoops weren't regular. They were freaking tiny like baby scoops. One ice cream scoop was bigger than one poke scoop. I understand fresh fish is expensive, but damn, those scoops were little. I'm not over exaggerating at all. Unless the worker used the wrong scooper, I was disappointed, and I got an extra scoop, so the bowl wasn't just full of rice. You can check it out if you want, but don't expect the scoops to be regular scoops. If you're a poke lover, be prepared to pay additional for the tiny scoops or find another poke place in town and then compare it to this one. Maybe the tiny poke scoop is consistent around town. Let me know.

The staff behind the line-young ones were "seemingly working ", yet doing a lot of laughing and cutting up. Finally got our order after 15 minutes. The teriyaki chicken was lukewarm. Everything else seemed acceptable. When you come be prepared to wait, even if they aren't busy. Food is decent and is worth waiting. They were even tipped well and still performed Sub par.

And there were 2 couples in front of me and it took about 20 minutes just to order. The food was okay. But it's kind of pricey for the amount you get. I didn't feel satisfied from the sushi burrito. I was still hungry. And it's crazy they don't include unlimited toppings like poke works. You pay for the bowl, plus the protein, plus extra toppings. The worst part was definitely the service. The employees were very nice, but they were definitely overwhelmed. It's just not practical to make fast food sushi unless you have a lot of extra employees just focusing on one thing. All the employees were doing everything. Checking people out, making orders, stocking. It was weird. It took FOREVER for them to complete orders. The whole counter was a mess and they were not stocked up on anything. I think they need to come up with a better solution to making the orders fast and efficient. I was not expecting to wait so long. I was excited to try it but idk if I'll go back unless I have a lot of time to wait and be ready to spend $$$ to be full after my meal.
