My wife and I came to Cupbop for the first time for lunch on a Saturday, around 2:30 PM. The restaurant was pretty empty at that time though many came in and out picking up their food from the counter. The restaurant is spacious, plenty of seating for smaller or even large parties. The employee at the register was so good! He was very personable, kind, and informative. He gave us the rundown of the menu, gave his input on what was popular, and really made us feel welcome. We loved it. To eat I ordered the "Combo Bop," the option with 2 proteins, rice, noodles, cabbage and Cupbop's awesome sauce. I decided to order B Bop (Beef) and Mandoo (Potstickers) as my proteins. My chosen sauce level was "5." It was very good!! The beef was tender, potstickers were also tasty. Mixing all of the foods with the sauce made it all to be very delicious. The cup by itself left me satisfied, it's a good portion of food! We really enjoyed reading up on the restaurant's history too. If I remember correctly their story was on the wall. Super sad, tried this place for the first time I ordered online and new I would be eating the food later than fresh so I opted to have all the sauces on the side. The food showed up and unfortunately there bowls were brought without any sauce on the side. The bowls I ordered were either Katsu chicken and beef and the beef was flavorful but other than that the rest of the bowl was extremely bland. On a recent visit to El Paso we stopped I to Cupbop seeing that they had vegetarian options. The staff was super friendly and walked us through the process. They seemed to be out of tofu though, which was a disappointment. We shared a bowl and loved that you could customize the spice level! We also grabbed two ice creams that were delish! read more

We arrived when the restaurant opened so service was very fast . Interior is nice and clean: love the color scheme and the K-pop playing: sets a light and fun atmosphere. The flavor of the food was pleasant; nothing too overlwhelming. I would have like the tangy chicken to be a bit more saucy. I would agree that the rice could be better; parts of it were a bit on the mushy side but I'm not a picky eater so it didn't bother me. We also ordered a k-dog which I quickly enjoyed and didn't get a pic. K-dog was great; ate it so fast I didn't get a pic. Loved the kimchi and mandu. Everything was pretty good. Why haven't I gone to this restaurant sooner? Such a clean place. Not too many tables but thankfully no blaring TVs or blasting music. I have to credit the order taker. What a nice, pleasant and knowledgeable young man. He explained everything to me. I ended up ordering the cup-bop with 2 proteins. I asked for a side order of kimchi but was told it would be cheaper if I ordered the meal which includes kimchi. My bowl contained rice and yummy noodles, topped with a cabbage mix. My choice of proteins were the barbecued pork and fried chicken. I chose the #6 spicy sauce and it was perfect. The small side of kimchi was delicious. Next time I should just order the rice and noodles with kimchi. I love kimchi. Please try this lovely establishment. Enjoy the quiet as much as I did. From the parking lot I thought it was closed I went in and the staff is super friendly welcoming and helpful the flavors of the food is sooo good I'm an Asian and used to live in a largely Asian town so coming to El Paso has been such a cultural shock definitely a treat however I will say that I should have got the chips instead of the kimchi it just seems like a better value. And the kimchi is more vinegary than spicy so if u have a low spice tolerance u really only got to worry about the aftertaste overall a good experience read more

My wife had went to get an order for me since I was hungry, I had order ahead of time at 8:44 and for me to pick it up at 9-9:10 PM, when she picked up and went to the car, she said they got the order completely wrong so I told Her to go return it and get me the right one, she went and they refused to make the order that I requested since they where about to close, but it was 40 minutes before closing, so I told her that's fine then, just for them to refund me my money, they also refused to do that since they where closing... I see absolutely no reason to not get a refund since it was there fault for not being able to make an order right, I'm really upset since I usually order from this place and they have gotten my order wrong a few times but I wasn't too upset since cupbob those times since it's absolutely delicious but it has happen more than 4 times, I order extra mandoo with just noodle No rice no seasame seeds level 7 spice, and they gave me no mandoo at all also just noodles and level 7 spice, instead it was chicken and steak with noodles and a different level of spice and some other sauce. read more

I heard such good reviews from friends, so decided to try this place out. I was immediately impressed with their custom service. A girl walked in with a DoorDash order mixup, the staff was quick to correct the issue and you could tell the customer was happy with their attentiveness. I proceed to order and they were so kind in explaining the process and menu, even gave tasting samples. The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning. the meat and flavors of their core entrees are spot on, traditional korean street food. some of the apps are good too, my main complaint: the rice. the texture and inconsistency of the rice leaves a lot to be desired. as a main component of each entree, it is pretty bad. it almost seems worse than minute rice. super dry on its own and doesnt help to hold it all together when wet from the meat sauce and juices. could be perfect if they started using different, thicker more coagulant rice. read more
