We tried lunch at Pokemoto in Norwalk for the first time. Nice fresh food. Restaurant is very clean and nice open space. No tables outside but plenty of space inside. Excellent food for the weight conscious or anyone just wanting a nice fresh salad with great Greg ingredients. We definitely felt satisfied with the serving size too. You pick what you want on the salad. Nice different alternative to Chipotle. We'll come back for lunch again. Friendly staff as well. read more

I normally love this place. It's expensive but the food is normally pretty good until today. There was a bug in my poke bowl and I'm disgusted and a bit concerned that a fly was just walking around in this sealed container. I hope this is just a one off lapse of cleanliness but even if it is, I'm completely turned off from giving them another chance any time soon. read more

Tried this place for the first time today for lunch through uber eats. I was a little cautious as I typically like to pick up and was not sure how online ordering would go. However, I was extremely happy with my order and how they did it. I ordered a poke bowl with brown rice and ahi tuna. In the order I requested avocado which they gave a large portion of and I also asked for extra on the diced mango which they did. We are thrilled a new location opened up in Sono! All the ingredients they use are very fresh and flavorful. You can customize your sushi wrap, poke bowl or Salad to suit your taste buds. They even have fruit options you can add like fresh mango and pineapple. The Ahi Tuna is extremely fresh and has absolutely no fishy taste. SO delicious!! It's also perfect for vegans and vegetarians as they have tofu and edamame as protein options. You can get a base of white sushi rice or brown rice or mixed greens (if you're watching your carbs) The sauces are really yummy too. My favorite is the Sesame Ginger. If you eat gluten-free the only sauce option is spicy mayo and that is yummy but it would be great if they could add other gluten free options (like a tamari sauce for example) Portions are very generous as well. There was not only SHRIMP (which i didnt order and i dont eat) in my salad there was a whole STAPLE in my MOUTH!!!! I called and asked to speak to a manager and the young man answered the phone and said the manager isnt there. First time here at any of their locations. Ordered three bowls. The food is very fresh and tasty. Everything was clean and the order was ready when I got there to pick up. I loved my food. Only suggestion is for them to be more thorough. Each order wanted their flavors on the side and we got a lot of little containers (15 in all) but 2 were missing. One person that ordered a salad bowl had the wrong base. She ordered romaine and they used the spring mix which she dislikes. To go orders need to be done accurately and thoroughly, slow down and recheck to be sure you have it all. I will go back for the food, it's healthy and delicious. Absolutely awful experience today. The middle aged woman Shawna that served me 8/14/23 at 1pm did not even say hello to me and cut me off by saying "what do you want". I was the only customer there, and she was visibly annoyed that she had to get up out of her chair and get off her phone to serve me. Did not make eye contact with me or even look in my direction once, was very unpleasant, no manners, and reprimanded me for ordering another bowl after my first one (???). Used to be my go to spot for poke besides Pokeworks in Westport, and I will now be giving my business solely to them. Their customer service is leagues above this Pokemoto and they have much easier parking as well. This experience has turned me off completely, and the manager needs to replace her or they will lose a lot of customers. I absolutely love the food even though it exceeds my lunch budget. In this case I feel like it's worth it though because every bowl I've had so far has been amazing... and I feel like it's the healthiest thing that I eat. And I think it is amazing that they have Dole Whips on the menu. Thank you! My only small complaint is with the staff. There is a young girl who is there all the time who is like a zombie. No smile, no personality, barely able to communicate. It's just awkward dealing with her every time because it feels like she doesn't want to be there. People who are new to Poke bowls may be put off by her because she offers nothing in the way of explanation or suggestions. When asked, she will respond with 2 or 3 words and sort of gesture, but always with a blank, unengaged dead face. It feels bad to say it, but I've owned small businesses, and there is no way I would allow her to be front-facing to customers. She may be directly damaging the business with her demeanor. First time going to this location. Awful experience. Three employees helping one customer, no greeting or acknowledgement at all. Five minutes later they ask to take my order. Look them in the eyes and tell them no onions in my bowl. Onions go straight in the bowl. Now don't be fooled because there aren't people sitting down in there, that's most likely because I see a lot of people take out the food instead of eating in. We've ordered from here a few times and they rush through putting it together. On two separate occasions they've added so much chili oil I've almost choked. And there is no communication between the restaurant and Uber eats. They each blame each other. Bad customer service and poor quality control. read more

We were looking for a quick and healthy lunch and found it at Pokémoto. This was my first experience with rice bowls and the menu was extremely easy to navigate. I got the Salmon Miso with brown rice. Is was served with warm, moist rice, topped with sushi grade salmon, papaya, crunch garlic chips and a delicious miso dressing.
