Raising her voice, snapping in an annoyed tone, and creating a scene over something as simple as someone trying to buy that person a drink. Instead of handling it professionally, she acted like the person offering the drink was doing something wrong, which was completely uncalled for. I felt bad for the guy. It honestly felt like we were watching someone push their personal feelings onto customers instead of doing their job. If you don't like a patron, fine--but don't make it everyone else's problem. It created a tense, awkward atmosphere and made the whole place feel hostile. And if this customer is really that terrible to deal with, then handle it the right way--ban him. Don't take it out on other paying customers who are just trying to have a good time. We came in expecting a normal night and left feeling uncomfortable. From all of the reviews it made it sound like we would have a fun and inviting time. It was anything but that.

Having gone back several times now I have the following to offer: the karaoke night is amazing. If you don't think that there are ridiculously good singers in Wausau, you'd better think again...a couple of these folks will sing your sox off! Their Bloody Mary buffet is CLUTCH on a Sunday before, during or after the game. And on any ol' regular night, they have a pool table, a sweet jukebox and some pretty generous rules when it comes to tossing the dice on the bar. It's my new favorite.

The food was not your typical Wisconsin type cheesehead food. it was actually pretty flavorful and good. they had some really interesting craft cocktails there, in fact some place that creates their own. I prefer this over the type of place that tries to convince you that a basic "lemon drop" is bougie. The dark wood here really gives a rustic but upscale wood cabin.
