She is absolutely the most skilled injector I've ever used & works so carefully to make sure you look your best. You don't have to worry about looking fake or people knowing you've had injections done bc she makes sure you are aging gracefully & look natural. If you need skin care recommendations she can also suggest products that help with skin issues/problems. The med spa carries a great range of skin care to suit your needs & will ship out of state if needed. I no longer live in Texas but make sure to call ahead if I'm visiting so I can see Jessica and let her fix all my problem areas.

I was very surprised when I tried to schedule myself for Juvederm injections recently…read more 9 and 10 years ago I received Juvederm injections at Dr. Anderson's spa and it went perfectly. 2 years ago I went in for Juvederm injections and had a bad reaction. The nurse asked what other medications I recently had and I told her I had a Physer covid booster 2 days prior. She quickly got an antidote to neutralize the reaction. She was apologetic for someone not telling me to avoid certain medications before getting Juvederm injections. She treated me very well, apologized and gave me ice pads for my face. And I felt it was my fault for getting the covid booster before the Juviderm. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I was very surprised. It was very ugly. It was surly a bad reaction. I texted the spa and told them that my face was very ugly. Now, fast forward to present day: I made the appointment on November 19th. Then I received a call from a woman who said that I could not return to the spa at all for anything because of the way I acted after the Juvederm reaction 2 years ago. She continued to accuse me of many things. She told me that, at that time, she tried to call me back to the spa, and I wouldn't come. (I don't remember this) She said, that I told her to stop harassing me. I believe this as a lie. I would never say that because she was nice to me at the time. I remember the nurse was not mad at me 2 years ago, nor was I mad at her or upset at anyone. It was a continual verbal abuse on the phone and a very big surprise. I don't know why she would make these accusations at this time. Possible she thought that the same Juvederm reaction would take place if I had it done, and it would embarrass her or the spa?? Or, she didn't like me texting the spa to tell how I saw my face? I don't know. My wife and I spent well over $45,000 on plastic surgery and some on Juvederm from Doctor Anderson during the last 20 years and everything was great with high quality, perfect surgeries. Why am I treated this way now? This above is the absolute truth. I am a Christian and it would be very difficult for me to lie.

Update - it's now a year after a revision by another surgeon who worked with another Mayo surgeon…read morefor a plan. 6.5 hr surgery. I was realistic as I knew my face wouldn't function or work normally again and my appearance couldn't be restored , but there are improvements. I can go outside without the excessive tearing. The reason Dr DrK said he couldn't do the revision (excessive swelling from flying in for surgery and living at high altitude) wasn't an issue. Found out I had cobra neck deformity, which is where they don't notice you have low salivary glands or that you neck muscles are a bit forward oriented - DrK had written on surgical note that I had "well placed submandibular glands." Not sure why he didn't realize my neck anatomy required a different approach. Also forgot I was a weight loss patient and didn't pull the neck skin appropriately. Told me that he told the resident "this almost looks like a weight loss neck," The bulge under the palsy eye that he attributed to a prior surgeon (that you'd think he would have corrected with his upper/loweer bleph) was actually a DrK poor fat graft lump by DrK.. I will never be able to not be reminded of this. The facial palsy side lid droops, and I'll always have the twitch and the flat cheek. Being on Zoom or Teams is so depressing. DrK did not stand by his work, and when he said he wouldn't do the revision did not help me find support. Old saying, "the true measure of a ps is how they deal with complications." Ignored most of mine, didn't document, and basically abandoned me. And now facing retirement, the financial hit has been devastating - don't have time to recover from it. I just don't understand how he markets himself as so meticulous with a discerning eye, world class training, great pics on social media and I end up like this. Be careful.

Instead, he pierced the lining of my inner nose to the outside, causing permanent visible scarring. Additionally, an ENT specialist advised he believes Dr. Kurjian caused internal scarring and now has to be operated on by the ENT specialist so I can breathe properly. Worse, my nose is in no better shape than before the surgery. The most disappointing aspect of the situation is the lack of empathy, long waits, and disorganization of the members of the office. I saw no evidence he tried to improve the poor behavior of his staff. However, he made some attempts to improve the results. I don't think he is a bad person. He tried to fix it through special treatments, but in the end, I am permanently scarred. My last appointment was in June of 2024. They made me wait an hour, but they had failed to properly record the appointment. Despite the mixup in their records, nobody asked why I was there and despite the appointment error, they never contacted me about their error. Nobody apologized for the error in the appointment, and despite my two-hour round-trip drive, nobody reached out as to how they messed up nor attempted to resolve the issue. I would strongly encourage you to avoid this office. I believe it is a mess and poorly run. I would recommend Dr. Spencer Cochran instead. Hopefully, someday, Dr. Kurkjian and his staff appreciate the time, money, and trust of his clients. Below are four pictures, just before surgery, two after surgery and a year later with scars.

Dr Ethridge went to bat against my insurance company to make sure that my procedure was viewed as reconstructive work and not an elective cosmetic surgery. I know for a fact that he called the medical director himself and got the procedure approved. While my procedure was reconstructive, he made sure that the aesthetics were addressed. I mean if you can avoid ugly scars you should right? Since the surgery he has been readily available when I have questions or concerns about my recovery. I can't recommend Dr Ethridge more wholeheartedly as a great doctor and a great person!

I had a breast augmentation done in September 2012 and cannot recommend Dr. Ethridge strongly…read moreenough. I'm rewriting my previous review so that if you're considering Dr. E, you really get how great he is. I'm a PTA mom, not a Vegas stripper, so I really don't need to look like a centerfold, I just wanted to restore the shape and volume of my breasts to what they were like before I had my son (because swimsuits). I did a lot of research and found a nationally acclaimed plastic surgeon in Dallas, who I visited first. He said I needed to have a lift done first, then after a year of healing, come back for implants. The invasiveness and cost of the procedure ($13k just for the lift) made me feel like it really wasn't THAT important. Then I met Dr. Ethridge... He examined me and told me that a lift was not at all necessary, and that higher placed implants would require much less recovery and give me the results I was looking for. He and his staff are all very personable and I felt like he had my best interest in mind. I'm kind of a freak about worrying that anything that can go wrong absolutely will, but I felt very comfortable and trusted him (there's a reason he's been voted Fort Worth's best for so many years). Not to mention his pricing was very reasonable. Certainly not the cheapest I've heard, but honestly, don't go to the cheapest plastic surgeon you can find. I was nervous about the size of implant he said he was going to use, because I really didn't want to look like I had bolt ons. He actually used a larger size than we had discussed and it was the right call. It's been over a year and they look and feel completely natural, and my scars are barely visible. Even though rather large implants were used and my boobs look freaking amazing now, when I'm dressed they are not visually that much bigger than they were before, which is exactly what I wanted. I won't deny that I've had them done, but I really didn't want anyone to know, especially my family (ok, my ultra conservative and super judgey mom). She would definitely give me an earful about it if she knew or at least make some passive aggressive comments if she suspected, but she hasn't noticed. His staff is fantastic, he is knowledgeable, and he is great with follow up care. He schedules several post op visits to monitor your healing and how you're feeling about the results. As with any surgery, everyone is different and you should research the risks, but I wouldn't let anyone else touch me.
