She suggested Gentle Flow start at noon in their studio on 12th and try for THREE WEEKS the starter package with unlimited sessions for $45. I was first introduced to Jessi through a free community yoga night at the studio and was immediately impressed with her demeanor and style of instruction. I have also done a life coaching session with Jessi. Jessi has a very calm and nurturing style of yoga instruction. She guides students to stretch themselves , to 'find your edge' in the poses. She gives encouraging verbal and gentle physical guidance in correct form (for your body) in the poses. She reminds students to look/focus inside as they move through the class-- to see personal needs for growth and trust their inner guidance. She makes it clear students should move at their own pace, resting as needed, which is wonderful for me as a relative yoga newbie. Attending her classes leaves me peacefully revitalized and is among the highlights of my week. Her life coaching has a similarly gentle-yet-stretching feel to it. There she helped me focus in on what positive things I am seeking in my life and what I may be doing to block my success in those areas. Her personable, down-to-earth demeanor and fun nature made meeting with her a real joy. To sum up, Jessi is a delightful yoga instructor who has helped me find more fully my personal peace through yoga practice. She is an insightful, reflective life coach who aided me in more honestly seeking the good things I want in my life. She has a very relaxing touch and when I need something specific worked on she makes sure to work it out. She always makes sure I'm comfortable checking in with the amount of pressure, etc. She has a passion for what she does so she's very knowledgable. I also attended her Yoga/Life Coaching Retreat at Palomar Mountain. For being her first retreat, I was really impressed with how organized she was and how smoothly everything went. She prepared all fresh organic vegan meals and there was plenty of food for everyone. We had three awesome yoga sessions each day. I love her style of yoga too. She is a natural teacher. However, I recently went to their Sunday morning class not knowing it was in a hot room. Now, I can't stop. I am addicted to hot yoga. I feel like I do two hours of work within a 50 -ish minute class. I typically don't get sore muscles after yoga, accept for after sessions here, the next day I feel as if I just spent hours lifting at the gym. I've been to a couple of sessions now and am looking forward to making their Sunday morning class a part of my regular weekly fitness routine.

The instructors are always very kind and welcoming, some even remember me when I haven't been there for a couple months which is amazing. The space is clean and inviting. A couple spots to fill up your water before class. The class space is very large and has wall-to-wall tatami mats. There are plenty of blocks and straps to use. Blocks are cleaned/sprayed after each use and left to dry out individually, not stacked again immediately while damp, which I appreciate. I always feel like I get a good workout here. I bring my mat and towel and I'm soaked and sweaty by the end of every class. It's nice to take a true hot yoga class and get all the toxins out! It also feels like a very non-judgmental environment. Very hippie down-to-earth vibe, unlike those gen z 'white and and black with a neon sign and lulu lemon' studio aesthetics that are commonplace elsewhere. Thank you, Wild Light!!

I happened to be the only Asian in her class and I happen to be a yogi after many years' practice so I can do all the simple poses. She became very jealous and defensive. After class, she walked to me and my Caucasian husband and said: we white people are just not that good with stretching and bending because our civilization made us sit on a chair all the time.

I was nervous as I'm new to yoga, I'm plus size, and I'd never done hot yoga at such a high temperature. But the instructor was incredibly helpful, kind, motivating, and knowledgeable. I pushed myself outside my comfort zone to try something new and I'm so glad I did. I felt very welcome and accepted.

The front area where you put your belongings, shop, and check in is a very tight space. They have a water fountain up front. Bathroom in the back doesn't include a shower like some workout studios. Each instructor has a very different teaching and class style, which I can appreciate! They have lots of class times each day, which is very accommodating for a variety of schedules. I will say, they "require" that you have grip socks. I was required to buy some in store when I forgot mine but had regular socks on. But, I was disappointed to see that several members had regular socks on during class. If you have this rule and make me buy socks, please enforce and be consistent with everyone. I wish I didn't have to buy the socks in the first place.

They have class times listed w/out instructors available. Eugene has been short staffed for 3 months now - that's got to say something. There is no personalization between some instructors & clients ie injury restrictions or name exchanges. (Prior management had instructors exchanging that info on a regular basis.). If you sign up on the Wait List to get into a class, they can notify you in less than 12 hrs that you got in, however if your personal schedule has changed & you no longer are available they will charge you $10 to drop the class. I am dropping my membership & would not recommend this club to anyone.
